  • I took a short break from my weekly diet vlogs to compile all the things I have been doing to lose weight.

    I weighed 61kg in July of 2022 with a height of 160cm now I am around 55kg in December with a height of 163.2cm. I lost all my weight from exercising and even if I stop exercising for a couple days I don't gain my weight back. I am so happy with my body now, Alhumdulillah.

      How old are you? I am assuming you are still young considering you are still growing! You don't need to lose weight when you are still growing please be careful :)

      @@chipchap5808 I was 14 in July and right now I am 15. I didn't lose my weight through diet control or starving myself, I lost my weight healthily through exercise and I feel so strong and active now. Thank you so much for your concern. ❤

    I was stuck at 55kg for a month, what I did to 'shock' my body was to eat 6 small meals a day, this way I wouldn't have to worry about overeating in a meal and it broke my plateau 🤗

    I am currently on a weight loss journey 5 weeks in, i started at 70.5kg, and i am now weighing 67.6kg. My goal weight is 60kg as well, so this is inspirational.

      @abc You need to calorie count as you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. You need to find out how many calories you should be eating to lose weight, find an online calculator, and then use a calorie counter like my fitness pal.

      You should really try walking for exercise from 30 minutes to an hour I did it and it really helped lose weight and tone my body

      Your weight is just a number, something that changes and fluctuates a lot in quite an unpredictable way, therefore your happiness and self worth shouldn't rely on it (because of its instability, to avoid unnecessary pain it's better to rely on something more stable, like your skills for example, your experiences, your personality and yourself as a whole

      you guys are completely right, but i just can't accept it. I feel overly compared to people with somewhat chopstick legs and a flat stomach. I’m not dramatically fat, just above average but i want to look slimmer. I don’t know why i can’t get over it, my happiness has faded over time and i’m concerned about my looks. I don’t know how to loose weight, i want to eat healthier though because i haven’t really had appetite for proper food for months. Idk why i’m venting, i guess i needed to say it because i’ve kept so much in.

      @esthxo ik, that's the worst part. Even if we know that we shouldn't be in so much pain because of our weight, we still are. I just can't help it either, it sucks fr.. idk bout you but I feel like of I lost weight I would be so much happier and feel so much better, (i can relate with what u said, I'm kind of above average size too)
      I wasn't saying that nobody should lose weight to feel better (within reasonable limits ofc) , I was just saying that the ultimate goal would be to be able to be happy now, as I am overweight, during my fitness journey AND after losing these extra kg

      @@thedoggo2348 i feel the exact same way. I know loosing weight wouldn't keep me happy forever but it just gives me so the more reason to be unhappy. If i lost some weight i'd probably be a bit happier and put more effort in my looks to feel even better about myself. I'm struggling with my insecurities right now and i don't know how to accept them anymore. I only want to loose 10kgs-15kgs because i'd probably be average then. I hope it gets better for you though :) ❤

    Guys, I did this, without the intermitent fasting due to medical issues, but in 3 months I lost 6cm in waist. Nothing too brutal, just baby steps and the results will come. Be kind to yourself❤

    Six weeks ago I was weighting almost 76kgs and now I'm at 68,5 kg. That's around 7,5kgs and I'm so glad I found my own way how I can make it work. I came back from my Korea vacation in the end of August and after that I felt so motivated to start in September. I also do the interval fasting from 6PM to 9-10AM. I also try to drink more water/less juices or soft drinks and eat less sugar. I'm 19 rn and also just started a student job in September which also helped me to move a bit more. I don't exercise actively but try to move more in my daily life. Sometimes I also go to the gym at my uni to walk 10k steps. For me personally, the most important step was to change my mindset. I always question myself if eating this chocolate bar/piece of cake is worth it or if it will make me happier/sad afterwards. I know I'll feel miserable afterwards. BUT it's very important to still treat yourself. You can still eat chocolate or go out with others, just don't overdo it. My goal is to reach 65kg and then 60kg step by step. I constantly need to memorize myself that it's healthy er if it takes longer and that it is a journey. It's not an easy task to loose weight or else everyone would be skinny, right? Just be proud of yourself during this journey. Also I feel I don't see a big difference when I look into the mirror but I just met a family member a few days ago (last time she saw me was when I came back from vacation) she instantly asked me if I lost weight so I guess you can see a difference.

      @@malak28288 i used to eat around 5000 calories a day, now i eat around 2000 and i do an hour of exercise three times a week. I stopped eating processed sugar, milk and i only eat bread ocasionally. I lost around 10 kg in a month

    i really want to express my gratitude for you. you're one of the great influencer why i'm choosing to stay in the healthy eating way and getting out of my disordered thoughts. ever since i discovered your channel, i've always had my peace and it felt so good to have developed the healthy relationship with food. also, you're always on time ;-; i just had my binged since yesterday (triggered by having only less than 3 hours of sleep and had to drive, walked for almost 4 hours, fast food since no time to cook, starving until lare afternoon since i had no time in between and study). i'm almost falling back into those thoughts of starving again but i guess i only needed to watch a video from you for reminders and here it is !! ♡

    All of this is amazing advice, and very realistic. You look really healthy and great. I'm now starting at 80kg because my doctor gave me the wake-up call on my health. I was in denial for years. I've been doing some lifestyle adjustments and lost around 1kg in the past two weeks. I'm hoping to lose at least 15kg, but ideally 20kg total.

      YESSSS WELL DONEEE!!! remember to maintain a healthy weight loss journey, eat whatever you like but in moderation and exercise- the key to losing weight, also it really improves your physical and mental health massively. i hope you achieve your goal and become healthy again!! but do remember that skinny does not = healthy ☺

    My height is 175cm. I was 93,3kg in May 2022 and now my weight is around 89kg because it’s keep jumping up and down (I was doing fine since May, but then in September I had torn meniscus and I couldn’t work out for a month so I put on a few kilograms then I started working out again, lost some weight and later I got sick so kilograms came back🥲). Actually in 2023 I really want to change my habits and start working out regularly (even if it’s 10 minutes a day, but regularly). Today was my first workout since October I think and it lasted for 25 minutes (I almost died lmao all my strength is gone). This video actually found me at the right time. Everyone who’s on their journey let’s take it slow and consistent, we can do it! Let’s be happy and healthy. Good luck to us❤️

    I think I was being way too harsh on myself and seeing people in these comments have my weight as their goal reminds me of how far I've come and I don't need to be so hard on myself. You guys don't be too hard on yourself...just enjoy the process

      It's also important to keep in mind that based on our height, age, and body composition, our goals and healthy weight ranges will be very different. Getting to our goal weight should be a process full of self-love, understanding, and empathy. So please be gentle with yourself and remember you're doing the best that you can ❤

    I'm stuck too! I've lost 10kg already (thanks to some food my doctor prohibited me because of my stomach) but I need to loose more. I used to weight my meals and that really helped but I stopped at some point, the same with fasting, so I'm gonna start doing that again since I'm being constant with my workout. Thank you for your video, it was really helpful and motivating 🤗❤️

    since october 2022 ive lost 14kg ,my height is 158cm, i used to be 76kg and now im 62kg but now my weight is starting to stagger and its getting harder to lose because my goal is 55kg, so i hope to lose 7kg more and after i might try going to 50kg. Hopefully this video will help me.
    edit: im now 60kg and getting closer and closer to my goal with hard work!
    edit2: im now 56kg!! 6 kg more to go down!

      @@dancingbird1330I mostly just stayed away from fat foods I did portion control and ate 2 meals a day and never at night time, I didn't eat a lot of sugar and only ate homemade meals and occasionally in restaurants where I would always take the healthier option when going out with friends. I didn't eat past 8pm and just did regular walking and cycling from time to time, so from 2 months ago where I made this comment I've ost 6 kg slowly bit by bit ever since, but I made sure I was eating healthy, I also drank a minimum of 2L of water a day. When eating breakfast make sure you eat something that fills you but and that you like, for example I would have 2 boiled eggs and an apple, drinking tea also helped personally I like oolong tea, but I'm still going on until I reach my goal which is 50kg. If I can do it you can too since from young I have been overweight and tried to starve myself many times which didn't work at all. Last thing is to make sure you sleep for at least 7 hours.

      @@manalarnous6191 it took me in total 11 months I mostly avoided certain foods when eating and ate 2 meals a day breakfast and dinner. I tried to walk more and drink more water at least 2L of water a day and I never ate past 8pm

    I'm so happy I found your channel when I'm trying to start dieting again!! I've constantly tried to diet, keto, intermittent fasting, atkins or the portion control etc, but would always give up halfway :( your advice in the end of the video is so important for me, to treat this as a marathon and don't give up!! And especially the foods, you keep reminding to eat foods that we like to avoid cheat days bcs we eat good food everyday!! That's really is a good advice for me!!! Thank you for the video may!

    manual threadmill 30min, as often as i can, walks, counting calories. cutting off soda, rice, white bread, i bake so i cant completely get rid of eating cake 😔, i started at 76kg, now im 68, gradually loosing 8kls for 3months, and i hope it gets better. it is still a long way to my 55kg goal

      Rice is one of the BEST weight loss foods. I lost around 35 lbs eating rice with vegetables or soup multiple times a week. I had rice almost every day. Weight melted off

    Your video is very important! Congratulations, too bad I didn't meet you 5 months ago.
    I was always overweight, when I was 13 I weighed about 75 and when I was between 15 and 16 I weighed 83 kg I didn't feel well, and I was always bullied by everyone, adults and children, so in early 2021 I lost weight and I reached 76 kg, but I gained 4 kg and reached 80 kg again, I decided to change, and from the end of 2021 until today I lost 10 kg too, I weighed myself two days ago and I'm at 70.65 kg, but I'm still overweight , according to my BMI with my height of 1.65 I should weigh around 50 kg to 67 kg, so I'll start doing the steps in your video, I hope it helps!
    Guys, as she said the process is slow, but the result is accurate! We just need to stay calm and not despair. 😊

    Thanks for the motivation, I really needed it! I started in 2018 with 140 kg and now I'm at 70 kg (I've been in maintenance for 2 years) and it's hard for me to keep losing. my goal is 65 kg. Kisses😘

    this video is so nice and inspiring, thank you so much! this month i noticed i am a bit overweight for my height and my body is looking bad and unfit. i also had no energy. i was never fit, but my body started looking worse when i started taking antidepressants, i also have PCOS which makes it harder for me to lose weight. i can be very hard on myself and i just wanted to lose 10kg fast, but after seeing some videos on youtube (especially this one, that's why i am commenting) my new goal is to get fit and have healthy long-term habits that will stay with me even after i lose those 10kg. what i am doing currently is workout almost everyday (cardio and hope to incorporate resistance soon), intermitent fasting (16:8, i'm used to fasting since i was a kid hence it isn't hard for me to fast, but if you're starting please don't push yourself so hard. start with 12:12), i am also being catious with my portions and eating more healthy. it is not easy, i only started this month and it is hard to change the bad habits i've had, but i will try my best to be patient and enjoy the process. i will definitely check out your others video and will be coming back to this one to remind myself my weight is not my worth and that i have to be patient in order to see results! again, thank you so much for making this video showing that we all can lose weight in a healthy way :)

    I like your "mindset ". Not a race, that's a hard one. And, not to expect fast results. I watched this just in time. I'm doing alternate day fasting and its only week 2 and the loss is very very slow and I was getting despondent.

    Keep in mind for anyone wanting to try intermittent fasting that research on its effects has only been done on men and post-menopausal women. There is still an unknown on its impact down the line for women. You also fast when you sleep ;)

    I started with weight of 70-71 kg, now, in a month, I lost almost 4 of them. That's my personal record cause I've never lost more before. I'm so glad I started changing of myself... It's like a real magic in the real-life. I started loving my body, my voice, my everything! That before, in February, I lived almost in hell that was my own head. And we all know how it is - our thoughts can be a real cage for us. I'm happy I finally went through it😄

      @@hannahadejoh6741 only one rule - reduce calories U get in a day. That's all. U can eat almost everything, just remember about the boundaries U have set. U can start doing it with no sports - this way there are much less risks to give up. Good luck💗

    I've been doing Roberta's gym aerobics in small spaces (4X2 meters), and running at a 400meter track near a decommissioned building. Felt like I was at supermax but I managed to lose 16kg (1.7m) in 5 months. Nice to see some youtubers sharing their 10kg range weight loss journeys.

    I have chronic digestive problems and incredibly high inflamation. Medicine and exercise didnt help much as my intestinal lining was already destroyed, mynvitamin absorbtiin was non-existent, and i was constantly nauseous.
    Im currently on day 3 of a water fast. Planning on 10 days to give my gut microbiome a chance to improve, atrophy a chance to kick in, and seeing if ketosis helps with some of my inflamation and energy problems. Watching these videos is a huge help!

    I did also calorie defecit and intermittent fasting from 64kg im now 54kg o dont deprive myself but ive learned to healthy meals, i do meal prep and i also wiegh myself everyday just to track my progress though its not always progressive and its ok i know how to handle my cravings and keep myself healthy. Mindset is the key when you know what is good for you and discipline yourself but above all i started in praying because temptation is just around the corner..i prayed for self control, consistency and discipline i think these are all we need on every area pf our lives..🙏❤️
    It should be a change of lifestyle longterm..💪😁

    I weight 72kg and i’ll start updating each time i see a difference, i’ve been weighting the same amount since a year or maybe even two ive tried many different things, dieting, working out everyday, but most of the time i always gave up just after a few days, yes i’d lose weight but i wasn’t persistant, now i really wanna change my whole appearance and i wanna be finally comfortable in my own body (ive been trying to loose weight since i was really young 9-10)
    So starting weight 72kg
    Goal weight is 65kg
    I’ll start by 65 and after i reach that i’ll move on to even lower
    Also, i broke my leg a few days ago so i’ll start doing full body exercises after my leg is alright and i can get more on track
    Good luck too all the people that are trying to loose weight, we can do this 🥰

Because everything I used to think was "let's just lose this weight fast fast fast" and now I feel like I need to change my lifestyle from sedentary, to active person (sorry for bad English) Now I'm going to plan my meals, increase my intake of water and start stretching and doing cardio, because I've been working out for a long time and it just wasn't working well for me.     for me
    lots of water, weigh in each day,i eat at 10 and stop at 7 I don't know if that counts as fasting, drink coffee when not eating but only black,track food intake, eating anything as long as I portion and don't have bad eating habits, water,tea,black coffee,excersize cardio and strength training

    Im on intermittent fasting 16/8 and my first meal will be at 12pm and I ate hard boiled eggs for breakfast or oatmeal and black coffee, snacks fruits in the noon and steam fish, prawns and broccoli, sometimes egg white for dinner and stop meals at 8pm .. and I lost 3.4kg in 9days. I was 46.2 and I'm 42.8kg now. 😊 Rmb to drink alot of water ! At least 2l a day .

    Intermittent fasting is really effective. Super pumayat ako sa pag intermittent fasting tas nabuntis tumaba hahhaa hirap na magpapayat grabe! Dko pa maggawa yong fasting dahil breastfeeding mama ako. Sa mga Mama na gaya ko at sa mga hindi pa nanay na want mag bawas ng timbang, kaya natin to! One step at a time. Discipline at consistent sa exercises lang, wag pwersahin sarili darating rin tayo sa exciting part. 🤗

    I experienced lost weight 30kg twice in 3 years. That's because after losing weight, I loss my focus and gaining back again. What can I say about weighing everyday. You shouldn't do that if you're in losing weight phase. But it is good to weighing everyday in maintaining phase (when you reach your weight goals).

      I have the same problem, after losing weight, I lose the focus and motivation to maintain! I think everyone is different, but for me, I prefer weighing every day because it helps me stay focused and understand my body better. I think I need to practice staying focused without weighing in every day, and also weigh myself during maintenance, so I will consider your experience, thank you!

    Ignore my pfp its my dads account,anyways.
    1 week since i started my diet
    Healthy diet fasting after 6pm high protein food and calorie deficit of 1500. Can't lie i didn't exercise at all because i was tired and i choose hard exercise.
    Down 3kg but i believe it is my water weight and i am completely okay with it. It took years to gain all this weight so it cant be down in a week or two. I want to give it 2 month i thunk it is enough time to lose 7kgs..gpod luck to everyone break a leg!
    Tips:
    1.first tip will be eat slowly i swear it helps weight loss a lot
    2.second on the list will be move more and by that i mean have active life, for example that hit workout s burn 10-15% calories so exercises isn't really the key.
    3.jumping rope. It is an amazing sport for weight loss and also swimming.
    4.dont starve yourself i was in that plate and i don't want you to get there too,you won't loss weight maybe you will be down 5kg but in two weeks you will gain back 5kg and even 7kg so don't
    5.pilates its just amazing
    6.cut out sugar ,i can't recommend this to everyone but for sure sugar isn't good for you. You can watch film sugar it explains and shows an experiment.
    7.its 70% food and 30% exercisee so diet is really important.
