This video was actually a huge help for a bigger project. I had to replace the high pressure fuel pump on my 2013 C250, and only one video existed for the job, and it was garbage. So i was left with looking over diagrams and piecing together videos, this being one of them. So I saw your other videos and I may rely on them for a lot of things. The C250 is very easy to work on, even easier than my Honda (as long as you have the tools.). Once the throttle body is removed, it’s pretty easy removing the intake manifold (there are 9 bolts, not 8). One thing I will ad if you ever have to do that job (high pressure fuel pump), you may have to turn the engine to match the cams to the high pressure fuel pump.
Yeah...i had to do the same research when taking off my intake manifold to clean it. It's a pretty straight forward engine once you know where things are at. I never had to replace my fuel pump but glad you were able to do it!
Pull the oil filter out and cover filter housing . Pull the air filter and housing off, Put the engine at 53 a t d c ( after top dead center) on the front crank balancer, pump will slide right out without removing intake manifold. It's a tight fit leave the lower union nut loose for the fuel line till you get all the bolts started and the pump lines up. Make sure the old keyway comes out also before installing new pump that comes with new one.

I love your videos but think maybe the sensor names in this one are not correct. What you are calling the booster sensor is actually the ambient air sensor. It is located before the turbo so it cannot be measuring turbo boost pressure since the sensor is "upstream." When I unplug it I get a computer error letting me know it is indeed the ambient sensor. Your video explaining how the turbo system works helped me understand what was wrong. Thanks to you may car is back better then ever now! I appreciate you.
Yes and no. Hey Flexx, My wife's W204 just died at 102k miles while getting out of the garage. Very shaky and wont start. Reader said it was a P029921, P030300, P030400, P030200 and P030000. I replaced the turbo valve and that plastic end turbo hose since i discovered it was brittle and leaking. I also replaced 4 spark plugs and cleared the codes. Now, car wont start. It ran once, died and now it just cranks but doesnt start. Any thoughts? I dont see any codes on the reader. Probably since i already cleared it and needs to run a little bit. any thoughts? I just ordered 4 ignition coils too.
Sounds fuel related. Either the car ran outta fuel, fuel filter is clogged, or the Fuel pump is probably dead if it cranks and doesn’t start. I bet the lack of fuel or little amount of fuel going through the engine was what was causing the shakes and misfires. If the fuel filter has never been a changed…that might be the easiest check/fix before throwing money at the car and guessing. As always, please get a reputable professional to diagnose it.
What kind of “reader” are you using? When changing important components like you did, you need the Mercedes specific software diagnostics (Xentry…etc.) to actuate and enable the replaced components. Its simple, but you need the darn thing.

Thanks for the kind words but you are expecting something that’s not suppose to be there. My videos are not detailed maintenance guides. They are just videos on how I work on my car and a rough guide. Any capable backyard mechanic can watch, get inspired, and do the work without needing to know screw sizes, torque specs, what tools to use, or how to remove a clip. If you’re not comfortable or don’t have the knowledge or skill to take a clip off or remove this or whatever, don’t do it. Have a mechanic do it. Don’t rely on a TH-camr to show you everything. I’m not here for that level of detail. At the end of the day, I’m just entertaining and inspiring people. I’m not a certified mechanic telling you this is exactly how you should do it. thank a lot.
Anyone who fixt the p0068 problem? let me know pls
Mine fixed on its own. I struggled for months with it and no shop was able to figure it out, and I couldn’t figure it out after doing sooooooo much to the car. I’m honestly starting to think it a software issue in the ECU.
@@TheFlexxGarage thanks for your fast answer!
i dont understand because i read the live data and see that my car have 1000 mbar before the throttle body and only 300-500 mbar after the throttle body and what i see that my car have a load condition from 27% and my device say normal is 17%-24%
i only have the one code in my ecu p0068 i fight some weeks with this shit .... :D
i change already the second map sensor and the Pressure Sensor i will replace the first map sensor also and i will look
maybe i go tomorrow to a Mercedes Dealer and ask if they have a ECU Update for the Problem
Will this clear p0068 error code?
It could but not 100% sure. I had that code and did a lot but it eventually went away by itself. I wish I knew how but I don’t know how it went away.
so what ended up being the problem you were chasing? purge valve?
I forgot but funny thing was it went away all by itself...so random. And never came back.
Hi flexx. my car is 2009 mercedez benz c class. My problem is that my car won't accelerate, it's not engaging in gears, it's like it's In limp mode. The check engine light came on and it's me 3281 fault code saying the boost pressure control flap is malfunctioning. Kindly help me out
how many mile should clean thottle body?
There’s no set time. I just do mine every 30-50k miles. Doesn’t hurt to do it as long as you know what you’re doing.
Replaced map sensor, cleaned throttle body. Car now displays poor excelleration. Replaced map return to original 1. Running well but cel still aluminated.
If you have a CEL, then you should pull the fault code to know what's really the problem.
I had a P0068 fault that nobody can figure out so that's the only reason why I did my swaps and cleanings. Car ran fine and the code eventually disappeared on it's own. Very common problem in the C250 for some strange reason.
It was p0068
CEL still but car running fine.
I hear a rumble at very low speed. Not there previously. Any knowledge on this Flexx (sorry for the missing x in my earlier comment)?
Am I the only c250 owner that’s getting a raddle / rumbling sound when slowing down?
You know what, I loved your videos, but this small crap like you have two screws on top, but you have to go in blind on the bottom you could’ve added. I’m not trying to put you down, but you could’ve also added how to takeoff that plug on the throttlebody instead of people, ripping it off, the best videos are the 100% honest videos even if they take an hour and a half. Quit editing.
Whatever you end up doing to your car is on you.
It’s common sense bro I ain’t no mechanic or nun and I did this in 30 minutes
NVM I found them
So where is actually the Mass Air Flow sensor in this engine? I have the exact same engine as your. 🙏🙏 I just bought MAF Sensor Cleaner 🥲🥲
There’s no MAF in a c250.
@@TheFlexxGarageHey bro, I got a code p0172 a little help please
