    Many will say thickness not an issue, but after few months down the road, many will sell it because the thickness which is quite bulky on your wrist will not be comfortable unless your wrist size is 18cm or larger.

      The watch really isn't that thick. The side of the case is 1mm thicker than the Bb58. The rest is on the caseback and the domed crystal (probably around 2mm are from the crystal). I think it is a fairly normal thickness. Most divers out there are at around 13. This is basically the same without the crystal.
      Trust me, it wears really good and easily fits under a cuff. BUT you guys can just try them yourselves before buying if you are concerned

    Hey Harrison, great video, gotta say I really liked it. I think aesthetically it’s a great looking watch, but feel Tudor should’ve use the casing off the bb58 I’ve a 7.2 inch wrist & can pull it off but it’s this thickness, tried it on in my local AD, and loved it it’s a shame Tudor can’t get over making slab sided watches, this is a homage to the Rolex 1655 explorer 2 , maybe they’ll make a mark2 version in the 58 size. I doubt I’ll purchase it which is a shame, gonna get a Rolex explorer 2 panda dial instead

    Nice RV. I tried this on the hybrid strap but felt it looked a tad too small for me (wrist 6.75”). If it was 41mm I probably would have got it. The thickness was not an issue. Nice looking watch overall.

    All the people wanting a 58 gmt with a 3 hand stack and a gmt movement, can we atleast compare this model to an equivalently priced gmt? The Longines Zulu is 14mm thick also but 42mm - sizes a lot of us out, it’s not thicker than other Tudor GMTs which is what it should be judged against. I do also take umbrage with the commentators opinion that thick watches will always get smashed up, my 58 was much more beat up than a previously owned Tudor GMT because the size and dome (even higher on the Pro) of the crystal meant it was always the first part to take the brunt of any blows. Not like I care about scratches but the idea that thicker watches catch more dings is not always the case

  • @bobbydazzler1780
    @bobbydazzler1780 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ve also tried it on. It’s well made for sure. But way too small. And too thick. The yellow is insipid not bold. Did anyone say faux rivets? It’s an easy pass.

  • @derekbrettell8121
    @derekbrettell8121 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just wish Tudor would release BB58 GMT's. I like the design of the Pro and the GMT's but they are too thick. Maybe, I could live with it but the proportions aren't right. After this release I'm positive Tudor are not going to reduce the thickness of their watches which is a real shame

  • @Peter-2704
    @Peter-2704 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    There's nothing about this watch that would make me choose it over the Tudor Pepsi GMT except the new clasp. It's almost what everyone wanted but just misses the mark I feel.

    • @h.l6344
      @h.l6344 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats coz the design looks like the homage of Rolex Steve mcqueen explorer 2 which is cool so its a completely different style/watch to a Pepsi GMT (Rolex) or Diet Pepsi (Tudor) 🤣
      I agree with you most people want it but misses the mark due to the thickness.
      Most modern Tudor watches are just homages or has that vintage style looking thats why it doesn't stand out and not ment to stand out like the big brother (flashy) Rolex.

      @@eagles4757 cause the real "Exprorer" is truly nice compared to the other real thing (which btw would be better if Rolex brings it back to 40-41mm max). Besides, getting a new Explorer from an AD is a funny game..

      Yeh I understand alot of folk see Tudor as a poor mans Rolex coz back in the days Tudor watches has been dreadful especially replica Submariners 🤣 ... But today Tudor to me is more about the homage of Rolex watches and kinda have its own Tudor individual spin to it.
      Plus not alot of folk would want to walk around with their Rolex on the wrist in public especially with todays market value so would go for Tudor the little brother as a daily beater nothing to worry about.

    Was excited you finally made the Tudor BB pro review does look great 39mm is perfect for 6.5 inch wrist but ya missed out the thickness issue!
    Does the watch feel bulky and too chunky coz of the thickness?
    Just have to try it on myself but hate it when Tudor AD dont have them in stock to try on... instead pushes you to have to buy it to try it which I will never do that.
    Tudor and Rolex annoying strategy playing games with actual genuine customers 🙄🤦‍♂️
