    I purchased the Pro several months back and I love it. I have a 7 inch wrist so the thickness doesn't really bother me. One of the main reasons I chose the Pro over the BB58 was the T-fit clasp. That clasp makes a world of difference. I would hold off on picking up the current 58. I believe Tudor will release an updated 58 next year with the T-fit clasp and possibly a few more upgrades. Great video and great comparison.

    • @mrlex4725
      @mrlex4725 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FlyingSpaghettiMonster2000 No I don't. I think it's a perfect fit maybe because of it being a bit thicker IMO. If you are used to wearing much larger watches you may think that. But once you put it on and wear it for a few days you'll see how great it fits.

    after seeing BB Pro for the first time in person, it took me 3,5 seconds to decide to buy it. In 10 minutes was walking out of the store with it on my wrist. I have a 6.75 wrist and trust me, the thickness is not noticeable on hand. It sits neatly, does not wobble around, and overall it's a very sleek looking watch.

    I owned the BB58 a couple of years ago and ended up selling it because I'm just not a fan of the gilt coloring. Recently purchased a BB Pro and absolutely love it! I was afraid from the specs that it was going to be too thick, but I don't even notice the thickness on the wrist.

    Excellent video of 2 excellent watches. I have a BB58 and can vouch for its many positive qualities. The watch I'm wearing today is a BB GMT. That MT5652 takes no prisoners.... it has been developed into a superb movement. I'm frustrated by the lack of date function on the 58, but otherwise this is probably the best watch in production right now. I absolutely adore the aesthetic of the Pro. The thickness isn't an issue for me, and I like GMT watches. My choice is the Pro, although most people with an open mind will find it hard to choose...

  • @johnheng3277
    @johnheng3277 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I've both but if I never had them and I could only choose one, I choose the BB58. It's slimmer and more versatile, and I have more use of a diver watch than a gmt watch. But if one can afford, it's better to get both as both are very different watches and can complement each other in a watch collection.

    Easy. The gmt movement has a higher rate of failure. Plus is thicker. The 58 is timeless. Plus I kinda prefer the bbay gmt as the chunkier thickness of the gmt movement is less obvious in the slightly bigger case.
    The bb58 is hands down the best wearing watch I've ever experienced.

    I just sat down with both and agonized over the my decision. In the end I went with the pro. The more pronounced feeling of the pro along with the adjustable clasp on my 7 inch wrist sealed the deal. Although they are both gorgeous looking watches the pro won me over in the end. My next visit will be the BB 58 vs the 41mm Heritage. This will also be torture I’m sure.

    I have the blue omega smp 300m Diver cuz that's the go-to diver in my opinion, with the bond connection, wave dial, and a date all for around 5K USD. I also have the Pro as my gmt watch. I am always in the camp of needing a date in a tool watch, and the Pro can go the same depth as the 58. Therefore in my humble but biased opinion, I'd choose the pro over the 58.

    I was debating the pro vs the bronze bb58 a month ago. It was a super tough decision but I ultimately went with the bronze bb58. About 3 months ago I knew my next watch was either going to be something with a gmt function or a bronze watch. I had made up my mind and told myself I was gonna get the bronze bb58 as my next watch. But a buddy of mine reminded me about the pro so then I told myself I'd wait to try them on before I made up my mind. Went to the Tudor boutique and tried on both and I just couldn't get my eyes off the bronze as I was trying on the pro. I still can't get the bb58 off my wrist and I'm so glad I went with my gut. The BB58 for me - an elegant modern classic. The Pro is great there is no denying it, but it's too chunky for it's 39 case dimensions, therefore a little less versatile if want to change out to a NATO. They have very different characters after all - one's a vintage-style diver, one is a homage GMT - each to their own.

    One should not have to choose
    The 58 is more elegant with its gold touches and overall vintage vibe. That’s the one to wear almost every day
