So what's the deal? The instructions on that can say "do not use on Karman-vortex type MAF sensor, eg.- Toyota Supra turbo, Mitsubishi, and most Lexus vehicles".

@@matdunlap597 The replies I got elsewhere said just leave a K-V type sensor alone, no one really knows what the results could be trying to clean one of those things with the usual cleaner sprays, intended for hot wire sensors. Never mind the replacement cost, those things are getting scarce. If push comes to shove on my Mighty Max truck, I'll just do a gentle brush cleaning and leave it at that.
KV are basically a speaker and a microphone that can be damaged by the cleaner. Chances are oil from the Kn filter is usually the culprit for many maf issues.

Came for the same reason, but I’m still wondering then how to clean it, it’s a culprit for some codes.
