The reason that they said don't recommend to use it at mitsubishi is because it's not a hot wire maf sensor but a vortex one. That means it produces ultrasonic waves so it's something like a transmitter at one side and a receiver at the other. Those things are not waterproof so if you spray it enough the liquid can pass to the circuit board that have capacitors that holds always charge and finally destroyed the sensor.
What. Cause the Mitsubishi. Pajero v25 V6. 3.5 dual overhead cam 24 valve manual transmission. Not to throttle early morning. Or no time during starting on cool engine
Hey how long did this thing take to dry. I sprayed mine and can see the spray still on . Does it take half an hour or an hour. Or did you dry it with a cloth or something?
Didn’t clean it since I did it.. know I’m on speed density so I currently don’t have a MAF anymore but I would say checking it twice a year would be good.

What if you use electrical contact cleaner?
Whats the best way to clean it for Mitsubishi???
I never thought to even clean this!! I’m doing this today.
Great! Glad to know your doing I been a worry the CRC, OK I do it Thanks
Did it work ???
Karmann Vortex mafs aren’t meant to be cleaned like gm hot wire mafs. That filth was probably oil from using a KN type filter.
Are maf sensor is full of dirt may cause the car check engine?
yes
can i use presured isopropyl alcohol? circuit cleaners
so at the end worked? or the misfire continued?

I have also read the warning on MAF cleaner from CRC...its the primary reason I have not done this on my 2011 ES
Also from my research its because of the high pressure that the can has when using the straw. Just dont have the B@lls to test it lol.
Exactly what I read.. I tried it and it’s been about 3 months and so far so good idle is perfect!
How u took it out
Michael Castellano you have to remove the air intake pretty simple just remove the filter and it should be connected to it.
Michael Castellano if you need more help DM me on insta.
Ok thanks

it dried pretty quickly but it left a bit so I cleaned it off.
Anyway to test a MAF sensor?
How’s your evo holding up now that you cleaned the MAF sensor?
Are you still cleaning it? How often?
Thanks.

@@ChrisGoorbarry did you make a video of the speed density set up. Cant find it if so. Thanks
I bypassed mine and later I'll clean it 100km 20L I had it to 3 mekanic and they did not fix it so now I am doing it
i can’t get my sensor off the air box
Was your car running lean?
Dwayne Jove no it was caused so to a clogged intake but after time I still recommend cleaning
