    In this video we go over the entire braking system for the new 1965 Chevy C10 Shop truck. We started out with a CPP Master cylinder and brake booster to replace the oem single cylinder setup. Then we replaced all the ball joints with some new Moog units. Jason was able to score an $8.00 pitman arm from the clearance bin at Summit and it happened to be a direct replacement. We were then able to get the CPP 2" drop spindles installed to mount our drilled and slotted rotors. Daniel cut, flared, and bent the new brake lines and installed the parking brake and it stops on a dime now! There were bolt-in spring spacers in the rear that we removed to get the truck to sit level and even lower. We're in love with the way it looks now and next up is some interior work and a new 5spd transmission! Thanks for watching and stay tuned for the next episode!

    Just a note on the wheels 😎
    With the lowering spindles 15s need to have a 3 inch backspacing on your wheels. Or you can go with 17s .

    How did you block the master en able to use the truck for a bit before running rear brake lines

    • @rncboy2
      @rncboy2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also if you plan on towing with this truck I would leave it at least 1" taller in the rear personally I would do 2 inches taller in the rear. The reason behind that is so when you load it down to tow with the truck sits level and rides better vs squating in the rear and high in the front throws the steering off and makes it difficult to handle
