You’re so kind. You didn’t have him lay on the ground to clean the underside of the truck. That’s true love. 💕
You two are fun to watch and are so nice to each other.
Awwww! Thanks! We kinda like each other 💕💕
Holding up the tape at Lowes going "BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL!" got me LOL.
Ha! Welcome to our 80’s childhood! Whoop!
Oh, the adventures of Alaska in the winter, lol
Ha! Getting it done freezing our cookies off. Whoop!!
Good morning! Motivating positivety !
Good morning, sweet Mick!! Have an awesome day friend.
Woodstove cooking is awesome! Enjoy your breakfast and enjoy the day.
Thanks friend! Be blessed.
I could watch you guys all day, so funny! I can only be so tall! 🤣
Ha! Thanks sweet friend. 💕
LMBO 😂 You did again, almost spit my coffee out!!
Ha! Secondary benefit of watching

So glad to see u 2 💜
And you as well, friend. 🥰
Geeze all that ice in the wheel wells...yikes! You guys are crazy for being out there in that cold! I hope that yummy pizza warmed you two up 😋
You guys are so much fun to watch.
Thanks friend! Have a blessed day!
Team work makes the dream work!
You know it, baby!!
Love it! Alaskan roadside snow coffee ☕️ ❄️ That's brilliant 👏
Great progress on the cabin but please stay safe. I like seeing you with all your fingers and noses. 😊
Awww! Thanks friend. Between us, we have over 80 years of living here, and we still have all of our parts so far. Ha! Be blessed and have a great week. 💕
ooh you got the fancy siding now. woo hoo. lol My truck had a sheet of ice on the front the last time I came into town. Great video guys.
Oh man, I bet the snow and ice buildup on your truck all the time. Because you don’t get to sweep it off every day like we do. “Do you want to go for a ride to town honey? bring the chisel baby!” Ha!
The house wrap looks great, though I surely dont know how you do it in the extreme cold 💖. Hoping the sunny side is a little easier, and that your homemade pizza was great! Stay safe and warm and thanks for the video. Hugs to Daisy 🐐
Hey friend! Pizza was great! Reeve did most of it, while I edited. Now I’m gonna HAVE TO make cookies. 💕
Cookies are ALWAYS a good idea, lol @@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska
We were laughing the whole time! Can't wait to be part of the cool kids!
Whoop! Me too! I miss you guys already!
🤞we will be up this summer

Hahaha! Loved it!! Every single minute of your lives is an adventure 😄🫎
Thanks Matt! Soon you’ll be freezing too. Part of the cool kids club. Ha! Get it! Cool kids….
@@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska For sure! Kim is already cold 24x7. We've never been a part of anything cool! haha. By the time we finished watching this one our stomachs hurt from laughing( with you, not at you! )
You guys are a whole other level of cool. 🥰
@@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska ❤
Love it, I’m so excited for you guys to get to 20,000 too. I’ll keep positive thoughts.
Our goal is to get to 15,000 by the end of this year. 😊
sounds great !!!
You guys are too much, lol. You won't like this but, you have to take the new house wrap down and turn it upside down to look like the bottom wrap, lol. Chrystal needs those battery operated gloves to keep her hands warm. It's easy to see where the heat leaks from your house. Another layer of house wrap and you house is sided, lol. The best thing too come out of this video is....COOKIES. Thanks for the laughs.
Anytime John. 😊
You guy's are awesome 😂😂😂
Awww! Thanks!
What a Sweet couple the both of you are to each other. Your like Newlyweds. Honestly, I believe that my face was in a continual smiley mode for thirty five minuets. I remember back when i had a older model Dodge Dakota the tire was under the bed of the truck, what a bummer changing a tire. My oldest son said to me hey Dad why don't you secure it in the bed of the truck....that way when you need it its not full of mud or ice......It was a great idea. I did just that. I had a mounted tool box that was also bolted to the truck so I mounted it to that after I put it in a plastic garbage bag. by the way Great work on your house getting the ice off, during my lifetime I removed A Lot of ice.....Now i am Banned from removing ice, My toes were curling as I watched you at that height on a 12 or more foot ladder......Your the Best Brother! ;
Awww! Thanks friend! That’s a smart idea about putting the tire into the bed of the truck. I normally throw my changeover tires in the bed and keep them in there just for weight because this Ford has an aluminum body not so thrilled about that but we’ll keep moving on. Ha! Thanks for the tip friend. Be blessed. (Edited) I just realized you’re Stephen and not Miss Val this time. Hello friend!! I’m so glad you enjoyed our video!!
We live in Palmer and we ALWAYS take longer to do things than we planned. 😁 It's part of living in Alaska, I think.
So true my friend! So true!
Have a great weekend :)
You too Mr. Cato 😊
You two make my day. I was wondering if you are going to put a roof over your deck. So it won't be so slippery in the winter. I'm so glad I found your channel😊❤.
Hello friend! That’s the plan eventually. It’s on the list. Ha!
And as long as we keep the snow cleared off of it and it doesn’t get above freezing, it won’t get slippery roof or not. 😊
LOL Your laugh is contagious Chrystal! So many funny moments! Great job getting this project started. You prolly have already noticed a difference in the temp in your house? Holly or Juniper..LOL Have a great day you two, looking forward to the next one!
Oh yeah…it’s like the tropics up in here. Ha! I’m usually the one who doesn’t get them confused. They are both Maremmas and Juniper is actually Holly’s aunt, so they have vert very similar traits. Still can’t believe I got them mixed up though. Ha!
@@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska LOL Ha! We can't tell the girls apart so we don't feel that bad now! LOL They are beautiful. Stay warm stay safe!
Oh it’s too cold to be outside let alone in the water. Sure you both don’t have icicles hanging around the truck.
You both are braver than I am. Climbing that ladder with snow on the rungs, please be careful.
Is Daisy hibernating, don’t blame her.
Hope you both thawed out and enjoyed the pizza.
Have a blessed weekend!
😊💕💕
Lots of work that’s for sure. I was just thinking the other day how the dogs are so hard now to tell apart. 🐾. Oh yeah Reeve needs cookies! 🤣. He put you on the spot!
Ha! Those darn cookies…
Love you guys!
Awwww! Thanks Sunny!!
That's a big moose!
Glad you’re impressed…but was there a moose in this video? Ha!
Oh my goodness, 😂 watch me Im gonna try something. My new favorite line, lol. Also, we need to find out if Mr.Reeve got those peanut butter cookies, or will a treasure hunt be needed for the sledgehammer 😂😂😂. You two are awesome!! Take good care! ❤🙏😊
Ha! I knew how the hammer thing was gonna go…🙄🥰

@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska as Mr.Reeve would say... wah wah! 😆 🤣
@@ShannonLivesey Correct madame. Ha!
And here I am trying defrost my feet after driving an hour without heat in 17 degree weather. 😅 to be fair I have no warm winter shoes. We're so broke right now it hurts just to see yall having to spend all that moola but it's necessary. Glad you're getting more and more done and making good progress. Keep going friends! ❤❤❤
Oh that counts! No heat! I’m sorry love. If you have to go out again. You might try wearing lots of pairs of socks, and a pair of your husband’s boots or shoes. That way you can get lots of warm layers around your feet. And if you wear his boots, then your feet won’t get too compressed. It’ll help the blood flow and keep your toes warm better. Is it supposed to warm up soon?
@@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska I'd probably trip and fall if I tried to wear his. 🤣 I have worn his muck boots but they were tall so it made it easier. We are supposed to get back above freezing this coming Tuesday but they're calling for heavy rain all week. Yuck, its gonna be a mudfest.
@@survivinglife__unplugged Yuck indeed!
Omg that is so funny you 2. I really hope you're gonna dry the truck now, or we'll be seeing a great Icecycle flying down the road😂. House wrap yay!! Finally😊
Ha! We thought for sure there’d be a blower at the end of the car wash lane. But there wasn’t so we were a little concerned the doors were gonna freeze shut. That’s what usually happens. But we got lucky and all the doors open. Yay!
Lol. Yes, I thought of that after sending the first note. It's bad enough when you can't get in, but get out of vehicle is scary🫣
You both should get ski gloves. They will save your fingers
@@andreamorrison8419 Right?! we were like, well, I guess we’ll see if we can even get out of the truck at Lowe’s. Ha!
@andreamorrison8419 we’ve got all kinds of gloves, my friend. The problem is trying to balance, staying warm with dexterity of not having super thick gloves on. That’s why we have lots of gloves and we just keep changing them out. I actually had ski gloves on yesterday, with a capaline glove layer underneath. Just hard to keep your fingers warm when you’re moving them around so much. If I could just wear giant snowmachine mittens all the time I’d say perfectly warm. But I never be able to do anything, including zipping up my jacket. Ha!
That intro was the best! Beautiful footage, great music. Fun field trip. Lots of progress. Hope you thawed out. You are brave! Val C ❤️🙏🏻
All thawed out and toasty, sweet Val. 💕💕
Oh, and we are going to need the recipe for that pizza. Sounds delicious 😋
Ha! On it!
I don't know how y'all stand the cold like that that's just crazy to me I'm glad you got it done and your braved it but I know I couldn't have done it see you on the next video love the drone footage

Ha!! Yes! More cookies!!
I live right in the wind tunnel on that side of the valley. Give me the - eleventy billion!
Oh man! A few year ago at my office the wind tore the metal commercial door right off the hinges! I think that was before the year when wind tore the front off of KFC. Ha! I don’t envy your wind friend! Stay warm and be blessed.
Hello are you two always this crazy together even off video well if it is - 11 there it’s - 23 here I have had frostbite on my fingers and my toes it’s not fun that’s when I was in my 20s, I fell through the ice on the lake with my skidoo so even when I have The gloves on and socks I still feel the coldness be careful out there with the cold weather love your videos you actually put a smile on my face when I watch your channel thankyou here from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
Hello sweet neighbor! Whoa! I’m so glad you made it through that lake experience. I’m terrified of that. But I bet you have a cool story to tell. Be blessed friend. ❤️
Now I am 59 years old I feel the cold in the winter all the time now I didn’t think of nothing back then recovering my skidoo I was only in the water for like 3 to 5 minutes usually mark the lake but it was like a blizzard and I went off the trail on the lake what a mistake that was now I am paying for it..Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎

Hot coffee on a freezing morning. A touch of snow was a good idea. Would love to make snow cream. At the car wash, yeah. That's a lot of dirty ice under there. Raven graffiti, lol. The crows do that here. Smooth ride, like a Cadillac. Yellow tag. OMG that's high. Free advertising. Which truck? So many. Almost enough frying oil. 19 is the tropics. For here lately too. Y'all's driveway is so pretty. Well balanced diet. 🙏 Pray. Icicles. It's on the list. Sounds like me. Concussion is no fun. Ask me how I know. Take that husband. Pizza. Holly and Juniper do look more alike now. He is so optimistic. Peanut butter cookies. You're slacking on cookies, Chrystal. No sandwich, pizza. Sunny side tomorrow. Warm kitchen here we come. Dusty, I love you! You are hilarious! Mr. Reeve says we have all the other staplers, but not that one. Ha! We even have a cordless fence stapler that we paid way too much money for and couldn’t find the staples. So it is pristine in the box my friend. 😊
@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska I'm sure Mr. Reeve can find room in his trailer for ONE MORE tool, right? I think it would make for a great working relationship -- Mr Reeve gets more tools, Miss Chrystal gets more projects done, DeWalt sells tools, I get paid, and we all eat cookies! That's a win-win-win-win-win!

Образование этого льда следствие оттепели или недостаточное утепление потолочного перекрытия. 👍👍👍Удачи и успехов. 🤝😉
You are correct, my friend. We usually build here in Alaska with the insulation rating of r-30 in the ceiling. But here in Willow, Alaska, with the temperatures being so much lower for so much longer, we needed r-50 in order to do a hot rough system. Live and learn. we call it ice damming, it’s a pretty common issue for lots of people here in Willow. Difficult to keep all the heat inside your house when it’s -30°F for three weeks at a time. Ha! I’m so happy you left me some words this time. I have been enjoying all of your thumbs up.😊
My heat kicks on at 69! 😂
Wow…how the mighty have fallen..ha! Love you lady!! I’m a wimp. 75° is like death. Ha!
You guys are really good motivation for us to keep getting our projects done around the house inspite of the cold and snow! Of course, I also want to see a video on the making of that delicios pizza!! 😂 Yummmm!

Right?! It’s like a real life version of Frosty the Snowman. Ha!

Near long lake
I don’t understand how you are not at over 10,000 subscribers by now you have over 209 videos now
Hi ya'll. ...how often do yall have to do that at the car wash
Just depends on the weather fluctuations. When we drove our farm sitter over the pass to Kenai, there was tons of slush that built up under my truck. And it never got above freezing to get rid of it. Kenai is south of us and got to 30°, which is pretty warm. That’s why there was slush and not just ice and snow on the roads. Willow is quite a bit colder, so sometimes we don’t have to go at all during a winter. Sometimes a couple 3 or 4 times. 😊
What is the roof issue again ? Is it that it warms up from stove inside. Causing the melting? Fox is that you don’t want you roof or attic heated ? But a lot of people do or build a room in attic
Hey Mick, we built the cabin with a hot roof system. And had r-30 in the roof, which is how we have always built. But, here in willow we need r-50 to avoid ice damming in a hot roof system. Live and learn. We misplaced that manual somewhere…ha! Oh yeah, there isn’t one! It’s a common issue here in willow. Yes, it’s because the heat escapes to the roof and melts the snow and then freezes underneath the snow pack. I’m really glad we decided to put a metal roof on this cabin instead of shingles. That would be a much bigger mess with the ice damming. Be blessed friend!
no you want her make Chocolate Chip peanut cookies I make them all the time so all you need is make peanut butter cookies up and all chocolate chips mm they are good
Ha! It’s on the list friend! Be blessed. 😊

Luke 18:40-43 KJV
And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. Gods blessings are over you
