We’re going to the same thing we’re doing little projects that need to be done. It’s a little different over here so I have to get a young man to help me and my husband sick but we still get it done. We actually did a small little DIY and hung some solar lights that have longer lasting hours on the wooden fence that I have in my garden and we both did that together, but we have a lot of little projects and I totally love the greenhouse and I just did the same thing you’re doing recently cleaned out our fridge we were eating out of our fridge for a while like pretty much all Winter..so we just started to buy bulk in plenty.. some days I use Ziploc freezer bags and some days I use the food saver machine.. I’ve been so busy with the garden. I’m in Texas so we got it really hot and booming. I’m waiting for my green beans to just start showing me surprises so I can start doing things with them either cook this year. I plan a ton a ton of green beans since I’m gonna do that and also I did a lot of Boston pickles. I’m hoping to pickle my own 🌱🥩 🍗
2 days late. Went visiting 1 of my sons and his family. Grand kids and great grand kids. Way to noisy to watch. But home and catching up. You and hubby are so busy. Always working. Love the chickens. I live in town so they won't let us keep them. Enjoy the upcoming fishing. Blessings to you all.
Those quiche look amazing! I didn’t know you can freeze quiche ❤ I love your channel and your video topics 💕💕 greetings from Brisbane, Australia ❤ Coryn
Wow! Busy busy...😊 everything is looking so great! What a change from the beginning... crazy to see those images again. The big red boat looks ready. The quiche looked delicious 😋. The garden area is waking up and the driveway clean-up is well on the way!! You guys had a very productive week. I must say, I'm really enjoying how much more chill and himself Aaron is. He really is a funnyman. G-mom looks like she's settling right in! Take good care, friends! 😊🙏💜
You are really jumping in with both feet to accomplish chores that can’t be done in the winter weather!! I appreciate your “zone” approach! It makes for a more full feeling outcome. Your quiches look so tasty. I tend to add bits and pieces from the refrigerator clean out too! We especially liked the one that included steamed cabbage!! Today is Mother’s Day and I hope this finds you enjoying the day!! Until our next visit….maybe out on the water?Love to all ❤ Momma G
The boat is fantastic, and I can understand the need for insulation!! Thank you for sharing your incredible life with all of us. Blessings to all of you and your family!!
Jessica you & Aaron are so busy., Doing good things on your Homestead 5-11-2024❤., Happy Mother’s Day to you & MoM & GrandMoM❤️. Aaron is one smart guy doing all the Building with Jessica help👍🏽👍🏽
So happy to hear grandma in the background. I hope she will be going out with you on the river this summer. Watching Aaron shredding cheese and talking with her, so heartwarming.
Love seeing you and Aaron doing projects. I knew when he put those gadgets on the bucket that he had a plan for them. Lol You guys are amazing workers. I love how sweet Aaron is with g mom. Love having him in videos with you Jessica. My knees hurt for him under that cabin. Lol
Looking so good, you two! Cabin repairs, garden prep, cleaning up the driveway, cooking! I see lots of adventures ahead for all of you!, can’t wait!,,❤
Hi Jessica, Aaron and sweet family! Happy Mother’s Day Jessica and to your mother and grandmother. Good job on getting the cabin insulated. Wyatt, that was pretty cool stacking the wood like that. I have a wind spinner made like that I hang in my porch and I got it in the Caribbeans. Nice job on the homestead with getting another project underway. Peaches is so cute. Have a very blessed weekend! ❤️
Your quiche look delicious. I love making them because you can empty the fridge out and not waste anything. Great video today. Your getting it done✌️🇺🇸
Do you dehydrate? I dehydrate eggs and powder them……3doz eggs = 1quart jar. To rehydrate, 1 egg = 1T egg to 1-2 T liquid (depends how thick u want them). To use in recipes, I just add the powder.
Jess. Erin is so talented but better yet he is so generous and teaching his boys to be. That’s very special in this age and society. Erin. If u like Yahtzee you would like FARKLE.
LOL! I knew those boards were going to fall apart on Wyatt! Good try though! Getting everything brought out for the spring/summer takes a lot of work. Those quiches' looked awesome! I am sure your Mom has a lot of work to do at the off grid cabin also. It's great she has you all to help her though!! I bought myself one of those mini-chainsaws for the little things I may need to do. God bless you all!
You should build an off grid hot tub, and sauna you should Google it on TH-cam and see what it’s like it’s burnt with wood not electricity. I wish you would have one there in your farm so you could enjoy the day and relax a little in your hot tub or sauna.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@modernhomesteadalaska Thanks, Jess! We had completely clear skies, and drove around to get an unobstructed view in the country, but couldn’t see any color. I think we might try again tonight and take a picture to see if it shows up on the picture.
Way too cold here. Not a good thing to try and grow in Alaska. Also no okra and a few others like corn is super hard. Not all plants like our mild temps.
@@modernhomesteadalaskaseen corn grown in high tunnels in the Kenia and in Fairbanks where there are much hotter temps. Egg plant can be grown but in a green house. Okra I have grown but no fruit, but willing to try again.

She can’t remember what I’m cooking but can spank everyone at Yahtzee! And still does the math no issue! Amazing what the brain holds onto
We use moth balls in the crawl space to keep mice out, bet it would work under the cabin.
That’s a great idea.

Tip, don't cut the pastry before, blind baking. The overhang keeps it in place. Always dot with a fork.
