Did you know that Ravens can mimic human speech? The outhouse is looking good. We can't wait to see it with the deck built.
They sure do have a large range of sounds they make. My favorite is when it sounds like a single drop of water in a silent pond. I did’t get that one on film this time. We do have a fox around thats screams like a woman being eaten by a bear… True story. When we first moved out here, I was losing my mind thinking we all were in eminent and immediate danger. Ha!
I think they're the most intelligent animal too. So fun to watch.

So great to see you two. The little crapper is just beautiful! Very fancy panel. Can't get over the detail in the grain. Ravens and crows are so smart. She is probably trying to mimic the bark. Your dinner looks amazing. I did something the other night very similar. On not so nice days there is nothing better than a dish that is really hot and gooey with all the cheese and sauce. Great tip on the kale and I will do that for this year. The price of kale is getting really stupid just like all the other groceries. When I worked in the deli couple years back we used kale as filler between the sausage/meats etc.. then threw it out every night. That really bothered me. Getting some gardening done here in Vancouver now and hopefully soon for you two as well. Take care! Hugs

Good question. It will be a permanent outhouse. We live in an off grid, dry cabin so it’s a functional addition. 😊

We were raised in Alaska. Reeve was born here and I moved here when my dad was stationed here when I was 3 or 4. 😊
