I've never gotten advertisements for lunch meat, sausage, and other meat commodities until I started learning more about Vegan recipes...And I've looked at many other types of cooking prior to learning about Vegan meal creation. No real reason to say this, but I thought it was odd. Anyways, loving your videos! You earned my sub!
As of today I am new to your Channel I came across your channel 13 for vegan recipes your recipes caught my eye and I am going to definitely try them and make them I started shopping at Thrive Market in May and I love them I have Lupus so three months ago I started doing some research and found out how to overturn my lupus so for the past 6 months I've been vegetarian/ vegan
I have quite a collection of noodles, in my pantry..and was looking for ways to use them (easy & relatively cheap!). Thank you for this video, I now have some ideas...
Looks delish thanks. Just a tip, using extra virgin oil to cook with is bit of a waste of money, the good stuff in it gets wasted when it's heated plus it loses it's delicate taste. Better to keep it for dressings & instead use a lighter refined olive oil meant for cooking that will taste less bitter & acidic when heated.
I made tofu with barbecue sauce for the first time today! I never really had tofu except in Miso soup. I have a question: I bought tri-color quinoa and I have no clue how to use it in a meal. Is there any suggestions? I never really eat quinoa, but again, it was something I wanted to try.
you could use it as a sub for rice in some occasions. I love making quinoa salad - just cook the quinoa as normal. and just add some chopped veggies like fresh tomatoes, broccoli, green onions, cilantro (if you like that), green onion, etc... and add a little salt, some lemon juice. i also like to add olives and avocado. you eat it as a cold salad. you can also add black beans for added protein. so yummy!
I'm 17 and trying to go vegan my senior year of high school. So far, I've had no problems and love it and feel so strongly about what I'm doing. Unfortunately, my parents don't get it and are trying to get me back down to vegetarian but I don't feel I could eat dairy after watching videos of how these animals are treated. Any advice to convince them?
oh gosh! have they seen the videos of the dairy industry and what's wrong with it? maybe start with that.. and also there are so many studies on why dairy is not good for you... even people that AREN'T vegan are avoiding dairy cause of the health problems associated with it :) there are also other youtubers that made videos about parents not letting kids go vegan.. if you search "my parents won't let me go vegan" you might find some helpful content :)
Cheap Lazy Vegan Thank you so much! I definitely will use the advice about anti-Dairy studies that aren't totally vegan because I think that could really speak to them. Thanks for replying!!!
Michael Newton Show them videos from Dr. Greger which share nutritional facts on how veganism is the healthiest diet on the planet. He explains it all in a very simple manner.
"I get crazier and crazier as the voiceover goes on" hahaha I love you. Deffff trying that pesto and I love edmame noodles!!! (And the other dishes too 😛)
I loveeee Korean cooking and you're my number one inspiration!! I've recently been to an Ayurvedic practitioner who says that to clear my skin, I need to ease up on the spicy food (as well as other things)... which is disastrous because I luuuuuurve spicy food. Was wondering if you could do more easy Korean recipes that aren't spicy? Thank you!' Love your channel 💗💗
Grace Carpenter Interesting. Spices are so varied and are good for our good gut bacteria. I would cut refined sugars before cutting spices. The bad yeastie beasties love refined sugar so don’t feed them 😉
Seitan is really simple (and cheeeeeeeap) to make at home, too. You can look up isa moskowitz's post punk kitchen recipe (for free) online, or find a recipe on TH-cam, and there are tons of free seasoning recipes and suggestions online, too. The main ingredients are vital wheat gluten and broth or bouillon. VWG costs like a dollar a pound maybe.
I made the pesto one with wholewheat pasta and spinach and for the sauce i used avocado paste with olive oil salt pepper dried oregano green basil and lemon juice turned out to die for😵 judt made it up with what i had in hand
Hey Rose! I love your videos, they made my day because food is life! :) But just wondering, what is the brand/model of your food processor? I have been thinking of purchasing one, and am looking for one that is economically friendly that has good quality processing. Any recommendations?
If you end up wanting to put real pesto to it, remember to buy vegan pesto (even if you are vegetarian. The parmesan they use has lining from cow stormach, which isn't vegetarian :)
Hello dear. I'm doing a vegan experiment. I was on your site and you made cucumber dough into wide noodles. I can't find it now. Can you direct it to me? I think you are fabulous a
Kai McKenzie Its made from coconuts instead of soy. The main benefit is if you are allergic to soy. Its supposed to be good for you too, but its quite pricy.
Oh girl, I also live in Calgary! haha I asked them about shipping to Canada, believe me, and they said they are working on it. hopefully next year! You can check out community natural foods, they tend to have lots of vegan items. Same with Amaranths and Planet Organic. Of course, they are quite expensive :( also check out iherb.com, which is awesome!! they ship to canada!
Hey Rose, is extra soft tofu the same as silken tofu? And what a great video - all recipes look delicious! :-) Btw, oil really isn't that healthy. If you're interested in that topic - you can find videos on youtube where dr. cadwell esselstyn and dr. michael greger talk about it.
yes, extra soft is pretty much the same i think :) and with oil, i don't completely avoid it and i don't think having a little bit is that bad, personally! but you can feel free to omit oil :)
they don't really have too much of a distinct taste. it's more the texture that's a bit different. Definitely not as "soft" as regular pasta... it's more...crunchy and chewy? I would say? haha hard to describe but I actually like them! :)
Even easier and lazier is using spaghetti as noodles, just add some soy sauce, some ground white and black pepper and sesame oil to it, Chinese noodles that are vegan ; ) I have it all the time, it's bloody gorgeous, healthy too, just don't go mad with the soy sauce and oil.
Andrea Arias you'll be surprised. Online gorcery shopping for non-perishable food items can be much more affordable than in-store. Especially online sites that sell in bulk :)
yes oil gurl,, :) no wonder de actnea,, but you already tried oil free stuff for a weak and you said you didnt see result?,, me it works,, but i avoid transformed products witch is prob de same.. i have to add lemons juice to remove inflamations if i wanna go for a run, and ate oils,, still need to test stuff up
LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos gurrrrrl! but i must say that oil most def is horrible for us. according to Dr.Esslyston it's the oil that cause inflammation in our arteries which allows for the plaque build up. and this reverses when we stop all concentrated oils. ie ones in a bottle (not natrual fats). hugs!

Cheap Lazy Vegan I so wish they shipped to Canada :( hopefully as the company grows it will expand its shipping locations!
How/Why do you personally do this if you don't live in the US?
She may not live in the US, but some viewers do. The point of a partnership is present a company to people that may be interested on it.
How did they ship these products to you if you don't live in the U.S.?
Rebecca Huber that's what I was wondering...usually if you're a sponsor that requires you to use the product to promote it
For the pesto, you can use white balsamic vinegar instead of lime or lemon juice for a delicious addition!
ooo thanks for the tip!!!
Your voice overs have so much uniqueness and personality! Love it! The recipes are great and the voice over just makes everything even better!
awww thank you! :)
I love the music, very different from all the basic music other youtubers use and very relaxing!♡♡

How about zucchini zoodles and substitute avocado for the tofu?
Kathleen Gustafson sure it'll work
Sometimes she uses cannelini beans instead of tofu in sauces ☺
Thank you for the vlog.
Great video
You vaguely remind me of a sassy drag queen and I am living for it.
Mai fan = vermicelli in Chinese. All these recipes look so tasty 🤤🤤

What is aminos and why use it instead of soy sauce?
Kai McKenzie Its made from coconuts instead of soy. The main benefit is if you are allergic to soy. Its supposed to be good for you too, but its quite pricy.
They’re coconut aminos, they’re a good replacement for soy sauce if you’re allergic to soy or gluten. 😊
Mouthwatering.
So upset that thrive doesn't ship to Canada! 😫😫😫 I don't know where to buy these specialty ingredients here in Calgary
zoe rodrigues Same.... We don't live on the moon!! Yet sometimes it feels that way.

they don't really have too much of a distinct taste. it's more the texture that's a bit different. Definitely not as "soft" as regular pasta... it's more...crunchy and chewy? I would say? haha hard to describe but I actually like them! :)

Har har at TH-cam showing me an ad for cheesy food before this vegan video plays. TH-cam needs to improve their algorithms.
