Speed cooking is fun, but I think the more important point to take from this video is that you can just throw random foods together to make a delicious and nutritious meal. No recipes needed! Just veggies, calories, and flavour and you are rocking!
What I love is your joy, it comes through in your videos! I am trying to lose weight and have been overweight since I was a teen. I am now 49 and man is it tough to get away from the carbs. I love watching your videos. Thanks!
Omg!!!! Most enjoyable and fun video I have seen in a long time! Super entertaining and so happy I watched this. Transitioning to a plant based diet and love watching all of the dressing that you make!
We tried this dish two weeks ago and have made this already 6 times already. Really delicious recipe!! We have actually lost weight using this dish and without feeling hungry! Keep up the amazing work of helping others with these health ideas.
Simnett that was fun to watch. After 2 weeks of preparing meals that have been taking me 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours to make to see you do that in less than 11 minutes makes me feel better. Thanks.
Love this video, proper made me smile. So nice to see you guys whipping out a meal in 10mins but both having a laugh at the same time. How endearing is that.
derek 1 minute in: damn what a good idea, this will be a great easy video 5 minutes in: i should have planned ahead. hahah love this video, love 10 minute recipe videos, easy and delicious sauces that are versatile are the best!
ok -- made this stir fry today, as well as the sauce -- clocked in at 35 minutes!! BUT -- DELICIOUS is right!! Didn't even need the sauce (tasted the stir-fry without the sauce first), but I made the sauce and used it and WOW!! Keep these super fast (for you), ok-fast (for me!) recipes coming!
You guys are the best vegan duo on TH-cam! I love this kind of video and your vlogs the best. And your Q&As are good too. Thanks for the entertainment!
Hey Derek and Crystal, you guys are awesome! I love sharing what you do with my nutrition classes! I teach anti-cancer way of life segments to patients hoping to inspire them to eat more plant based dishes and you make it easy, fun and so nutritious. And beautiful! Keep on cookin!!😊
You rock! I was worried you were going to cut yourself. The sauce is so important for rounding out the veggies. Thank you two for being so cheerful/inspiring.
Love how you just throw things together to make a meal! It’s the way I do things too. I’m getting back to plant foods after the holiday junk. Whew! I’m happy to eat those fruits and veggies again!
Hello, as I watch this video. Which was great. I noticed you had you onions and so e other vegetables in a draw. I place mine a the refrigerator. So i thought, can you an episode (if it works) of how you store all of your food or a video on food storage tied in with another video? I think it would be informative to subscribers like me that are turning to lean towards more of a plant based lifestyle. Thank you for all the great content.
We adore you both! Our little family all get together to watch and learn. Thank you! We just moved to Washington! It would be totally RAD to meet you both!!
Jicama is so good. I think it tastes like a cross between an apple and a raw potato. It's not really sweet like an apple but there's a slight sweetness to it. It's also earthy, like a potato. One of my favorites!
Agreed 15mins will be better because safety is more important. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes. You both looks so beautiful together and whatever you cook it looks awesome. Hope one day will see you both in Singapore. God bless .
Awesome video Derek! Always love seeing the cooking/meal videos that you make cause they have so many good ideas for plant based meals, and the exercise videos always motivate me to go out and try to stay in shape. Cant wait to try making this stir-fry and dressing combo, and as always, can't wait for your future videos!
Brilliant. Another excellent example of how easy it is to throw something quick, delicious and cruelty free on your plate. Love seeing you two together on camera, you look great together. Me and hubby are always admirers of cute couples, and love of course. 😁♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thanks for sharing both. Loved it. Xx
Watching this from Africa and it’s amazing how you have fresh everything instead of frozen..when am in your kitchen I feel at home! I can relate to all your recipes. Thanks for the sauce videos they are a life saver
So great video. It was so funny to watch you in action. This is totally me when I come back from work : I do a lot of meal in 10 minutes all home made of course. Great job Derek. I really enjoy this one. More of the video like that !
Looks super delicious! Great job Crystal in filming it and keeping Derek on track! You two are a great team and a great couple! Love watching your videos! Very entertaining and informative! Who knew learning could be so much fun!
Just want to say a BIG THANKS for this one. That dressing has completely rocked my world. I've been hesitant to use dates in anything that's not dessert, but you have shown me their full potential. I'm adding them to all sorts of stuff now. Always love the vids. Thanks man.
Super fun video!! Love your energy. So glad I found this channel several months ago. You are DEFINITELY inspiring to continue down the plant-based diet pathway. Thank you!
I liked the meal and the prep, and watching your videos has led to noticeable improvements in my own cooking. I have to admit that I like to use extra-virgin olive oil (a good one - I use Partanna) when I cook, but I discovered that the bottles olive oil producers use pour too freely and you can easily end up with 2-3 tablespoons (or more) of olive oil in the pan. I got a drizzler, and that helped a lot in throttling back the pour, so that I was cooking with 1-1.5 tablespoons of oil. Then I got an Evo oil sprayer, and that thing is a miracle. Each spray is 1/4 teaspoon, and I can completely cover my skillet's cooking surface with 4-6 sprays: 1-1.5 teaspoons. Plus when I make a salad, a couple of sprays completely coats the greens. I like it so much I got a second one: the 18-oz one for olive oil, the 6-oz one for toasted sesame oil. (Kodaya, since Ottogi is hard to find in Canada.) Also, I find the Chef's Planet Prep Taxi food scoop works better than a pastry knife because it has sidewalls.
Thanks. I'm slowly making the shift to plant based. One meal a day is plant based, try to make it lunch or dinner. Just made quinoa, some onion diced, cumin garlic powder and kidney beans. Was actually really good.
Yeah, it is super different, but it hides a fuse box, and it was there when we moved in so we kept it, haha. Our rental suite used to be the downstairs of a large home before being converted.
Just made this.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. Took me 12 min. Put in 3 dates instead. It was so filling even though it takes half the plate. Had a larger salad. All in all a great meal. Keep the up the great work. Loving vegan life of almost 3 years.
Just after watching this vid I went to my kitchen and put together a hearty salad with what I have. Mayo and applesauce and black pepper dressing. Already cooked potatoes and cabbage. Added romaine. Heated some frozen peas.Thank you for the inspiration.
Omg literal footage of me throwing lunch /dinner together 3-4 days a week! Definitely going to try the sauce you made! I would also love to see more of these quick meal videos! Super love your channel ❤️
I had no excuses not to do my meal prep this morning! that was inspiring! I did brown rice, tofu with barbecue sauce in the air fryer, peas and garbanzo beans.
I love jicama! Walmart quit carrying bean sprouts. So, I slice jicama and add that to my salads , wraps and vegan sushi. Also, good sliced with lemon and chili powder! I also snack on it instead of fattening potato chips.
Love this video, love you two in videos together & looks like a darn good meal to my taste buds!! Quick is a plus too!! Tyfs, hope you guys have a very beautiful & blessed day!!!
Wow that went fast! It really flew by! To me this video shows that 10 minutes seems very fast and most people probably have way more time than they think to cook. Awesome video!!
Would definitely love a lot more 5-15minute meal videos!
I will make more for sure :)
Simnett Nutrition thanks Derek, look forward to it! Keep up the great content
@@Simnettnutrition so dope man :DDDDD

Great video! I love how much fun you guys seem to have making these. Also like how real this appears, good job. More 10 min dinners please!

Just veggies, calories, and flavour and you are rocking!
Derek (and you too, Crystal): PLEASE don't stop making these videos. They are incredibly helpful. I never get tired of watching.
Crystal's laugh is the best ever! You two are so fun to watch!
The best meals are the ones that are convenient enough to make a couple times a week, and tasty
True!
Just change the sauce its *totally* different haha.
Laughed so hard watching this. So much fun.
You can tell she's into him. She laughed a lot while filming it. I think we can all agree: We'd ship them! They're great together :)
Derek - finishes cooking
Me - still trying to peel the onion
Ahahaaa 😂 I always end up like this with all 10 min recepies 😂
you have to cut it first in halves and then peel it - mostly peel a thicker skin
Lmao!
😬 right!
Lool ya fukin onions
What I love is your joy, it comes through in your videos! I am trying to lose weight and have been overweight since I was a teen. I am now 49 and man is it tough to get away from the carbs. I love watching your videos. Thanks!

same
I would explode probably
I would actually touch the family remote control to watch!
Yeah a vegan version of CHOPPED!
Check out Hot For Food! She doesn't do the challenges anymore, but you can find the vegan challenges she did with her boyfriend. They're awesome!
I think this would also be a great 20 minute meal without the rushing. You did great doing this in 10. Would LOVE to see more. Thank you!
Yes yes yes! I've been needing a video like this, I'm tired of spending 30 minutes making a meal that I'll devour in under 5 minutes. Thumbs up x
Exactly!!! You're not the ONLY one!! Lol
We tried this dish two weeks ago and have made this already 6 times already. Really delicious recipe!! We have actually lost weight using this dish and without feeling hungry! Keep up the amazing work of helping others with these health ideas.
Haha-it’s like you’ve crawled into my kitchen brain: “one pan, no plan.” Love it!
I love how you were explaining how you build up your meals such as carbs, proteins, and how you create your salad dressing very useful tips.
My favorite part of this video was the delightful sound of Crystal giggling...it made me giggle too.
I love seeing a stir fry made without oil. And the fun you two had. Meal prep should always be fun.
Love it ❤️, what an amazing video and you are an inspiration 🙌🏻 and Cristal is also a wonderful person

Derek at the end: 😰

This is fabulous! And you can prep stuff before so it won't take as long when you are ready to cook.
