I had a similar issue. Have the white like adjustable end links. What I failed to do was add load to the tires and adjust the end links to neutral and tighten down. After doing that the thumping sound was gone.
@@joelwright6532I told the suspension shop that and what they told me is it really makes no difference loaded or unloaded for the endlinks. The problem is a lot of endlinks use a smaller diameter link and if you don’t tighten it enough, it claps around in the mounting hole on the coilover and or sway bar. They checked my links and I just let it at that. The noise sounds like it’s coming from the top. They had a ton of from rx7 drift and time attack cars all fully tuned suspension so I just let them do their thing.
@ I would agree with that but in my case the whiteline directions specified the end links to be set to neutral and tightened down with the wheels loaded. I did not do that originally and when I heard the noise I checked end links and they were tight with no load. Added load and they were loose. I think it’s worth checking out. I also have the whiteline rear sway bar and fortune auto coilovers.
@@joelwright6532I will check that if all else fails. Unfortunately I’m going to have to pay a shop to do that since I can’t seem to figure your how that top link bolt would be tightened while loaded
Get a vice to clamp down endlinks and then tighten, look at heavymetalwrx video
@@brianmakaiau887 that’s how I set them up. Rag in vice and tightened.
