Well. Im prettyy sure he does edit his audio and do some adjustments based on the mic and his type of voice.. Something i hoped people will do more often , but sadly alot just emphasize on the video quality and leave the audio aside
Ive had my razr since August. Very happy. Replaced the inner screen protector myself with ease. If you are someone Who takes good care of your devices you'll be happy. Only drawback for me is the video capture quality and the volume buttons that get a bit sticky from time to time and lastly the slight wiggle when it's closed. It's a learning curve to master all the little features and tricks with the external screen but coming from an iPhone 13 mini I don't regret my purchase
I went with the Razr after replacing a Moto. For me the deciding factor was the gestures, like I had with the Moto. The shake, e.g. to turn on the torch/flashlight, is very handy for people like me.
That's actually incorrect the Moto Razr 40+ has an IPX6 rating or might be 8, so no dust rating or protection at all and only a small water protection with the coating and not actually with silicone seals.
@@sharerofmany might wanna do a little googling.. every review and spec sheet online says both the razr 40 and razr 40 ultra (the one in this review) have an IP52 rating which means it has dust protection vs none on the samsung
@@hourlysword3568 X in ip rating means it wasn't tested. So its hard to tell what rating it have but by watching reviews and opinions from users flip 5 copes better with dust.
I went for the Razr because it's outside screen is far superior. I can literally use it all day without even opening the phone, which is incredible. Also 144Hz + 165Hz instead of Samsung's 120Hz + 60Hz. The looks is also preferred, seems more modern and premium. The only 2 things I can give to Samsung are 1. Software Updates 2. Cameras.
Samsung may have the best overall phone still the Motorola is the most desirable and it’s quiete remarkable they still got it after all these years! Not to mention they bring the concept of flip phones back to the table after they invented the concept too Another major point is the usability of the outer screen where the moto replicates the whole experience ui on the outer screen the Samsung drives you nuts throughout widgets . Yes you learn them olhos to use them over time but not as intuitive for most For me usability is very important
First off I would like to thank you for the great video I really love your content I've had my Motorola Razr Plus since it dropped went with the black because at the time my carrier AT&t getting offer the Viva Magenta color that I really wanted. Anyway I've had it now going on almost a year now and I must say I'm really enjoying it. I was gonna get the Samsung flip 5 but I decided to hold off. I'll Definitely be picking up the Samsung flip 6 to add it to my arsenal. But I highly recommend the Moto Razr plus great phone good cell reception and good enough cameras.
Dex is the reason I took Note 20 ultra over LG V60 and I regret it to this day. LG had double screen cover and full size stylus support. I used Dex once, said "Cool" and then never used it again. Your use case might vary though.
The style and character of the Razr is just better. The Flip is more refined but the Razr just has a unique more exciting look and feel. I dont keep my phones more than three years, for that reason I got the Razr.
My Samsung flip 5 I got a good deal on but the pixels around the internal camera have gone dead. Getting it fixed has been a nightmare! Wasted journey to Mcr Trafford Centre as want to keep phone 3 days to fix, the fact I’m using an ESim doesn’t help either! Also insisted I wipe my phone before repair which was inconvenient even though backed up all the passwords needed re-entering.
Won't disagree with the poor camera on the razr, as I have just changed from a Galaxy S24 ultra, where the camera was excellent. Only problem, it was for me just too bulky. So far the razr seems better on phone calls, the external screen is a boon, and the hand feel excellent. I looked at the Z flip, but was happy to sacrifice IP68 for better dust protection
So idk if you’ve ever said or if we asked, how did you change channels dude? I always thought as though you gave honest reviews of our pocket pc. Do you honestly feel that foldable phones are ready for daily use? I’ve been iOS for the past few years but keep wanting and android too! I just don’t know yet.
I was going to get the Samsung z flip 5 but I decided to get the Motorola razr 40 ultra 1 because it’s cheaper on contract and month and after having a Samsung z flip I wanted to try a different flip phone
I just replaced my Samsung Z3 with a Motorola razr I've had Samsung flagships for years now and wow what a difference. This phone works like a million bucks I can't believe how much better it is, the copy and paste, text to speech, signal strength all Superior. The slickness of the software, top-notch. I have to wonder if constant updating doesn't compromise the OS make it more glitchy.
I am just not a fan of Samsung phones gestures on the phone are too weird however the Razr is overhyped the camera on the Razr is a dealbreaker its terrible and creepy at times, in addition the Razr it's too difficult to open very rigid and stiff and the fingerprint software is horrible- I took my razr back and purchased a candybar phone just don't like having to open the phone and close it all the time too time consuming and annoying not a fan of either phone flips are outdated and these two prove that point its simply a novelty that will wear off in about two years it's a phone for kids
i have both. the hinge with the motorola is less visible. and it feels like a flat screen. the flip 5 you can see the hinge you can feel it while scrolling.
@@ravneetsaluja4143 hello ravneet! I have both. And they are both durable. But i must say the motorola housing is roundish. And the samsung is flat and better to hold. A couple of times my razr 40 slipped out of my hand. But never had this with my flip 5. The flip 5 is smaller and i mean the width. The raze feels like a normal phone in the hand. And the last thing i must say is that the razr when opend feels like a flat phone. There is almost no dent in the screen. But the flip 5 it’s there you can see it clearly and you will feel it in the middle of your screen. But both are durable. Hope my answer helped. Have a good day👍🏾
this guy might actually be my favourite phone reviewer. calm voice and the editing isn't obnoxious
I wish I had such nice voice and accent hahaha that’s why I don’t post many videos on my channel
He used to do videos for Android Authority too. Been watching him for quite a while.

im doing the exact same switch. do you do wired or wireless headphones?
What screen protector did you use as a replacement?
I got my ultra a few days ago it's great and got it with a $600 credit discount
But the phone says to not take off the screen protector
Why did you replace the screen protector ? Doesn't it void the warranty ?
I loved everything about the Razr+ EXCEPT for the camera. It was downright awful. I take pictures with my phone for work and it was not good at all
Over all I like the razr.
I went with the Razr after replacing a Moto. For me the deciding factor was the gestures, like I had with the Moto. The shake, e.g. to turn on the torch/flashlight, is very handy for people like me.
Great video. Just to clarify, the Razr has an ip52 rating so while it has a worse water resistance it does have a superior dust rating

The Flip wasn't made for dex fue yo the battery size.

In Taiwan, I thick girls and ladys like z flip 5, but boy and men don't ilke z flip 5.
The biggest benefit of Samsung is trade-in value. With Samsung you can upgrade for a reasonable price.
My decision its between: Razr 40, flip 4 or Razr 40 ultra. What do you think about this 3 flip phones?
40 ultra but flip 5 has better hinge and camera and 4 year software support. Also, newer chipset
Thanks for the video I really like your comparisons! :)
Also cool that you revived the insta account of android police 🚓

So which one is best to buy??
Which ever one fits your personal uses... And whichever one fits your budget... Motorola Razr 2023 is 400 dollars right now on amazon
Which hinge in the middle is better
i have both. the hinge with the motorola is less visible. and it feels like a flat screen. the flip 5 you can see the hinge you can feel it while scrolling.
Don't you mean crease?

Bottom line ,the z flip is out selling razor no matter what anyone is talking about. But they are both very good flip phones in the U.S. market.
How does sales say what the better phone is? iPhone sales more than any other phone but it's not the best. Razr is the better phone.
I love his voice. So smooth. I would him whispering in my ear nice words
Samsung so far has not incorporated Dex on the Z Flip 5 which is the greatest disappointment about that device, IMO
The Flip was not made for Dex because of the battery size in a flip phone.
I want one I have an iPhone 13 Pro
Should I ?
Should I what?
Waiting for Google's flip phone
Wasson me ansum
😍👏👏👏👏
We know Samsung is better bcoz itz more costly, without doubt evryone know dat,we shouldn't be comparing this two fon
in the frst place
why this reviewer all the tims?
Razr All Day Long
