Travel and beer, two of my favourite things. About 8 years ago I found some excellent local beer in Minsk at Rakovsky Brovar. I don't know if the microbrewery scene has become more popular in Belarus since then but if there are more I would like to see a report on them. Keep up the good work.
@Northern dancer well I haven't lived my whole life in England but tbf the weather is generally shit. You rarely get to see the sun and it's always raining and if it's not raining it's cloudy and dark as fuck. I guess people from different countries have a different definition of what good weather means. Being from a place where the sun is always shining doesn't help I guess :) Edit: Luckily we have been getting some warm days lately
@Northern dancer While you are there in England maybe you can take advantage of the lockdown time and learn how to spell the words and form sentences the way the rest of England does. 😄
I lived in the UK all my life, in Wales, and the weather is dog shit! I’d say 70% of the year is either rain/wind/cold/dark/cloudy. And the other 30% is not so bad, around June/July/August time, obviously as it’s summer time. And this is pretty much the same every year, hell we even have snow in April on few occasions! So UK weather is not too great at all really, make the most of summer time because then it’s back to the norm 🙄

Theres something very relaxing about watching him travel round Slavic countries drinking!
yes, and he is very respectful to the locals, a rare feature to find in most "prominent travellers - youtubers"....I enjoy his videos very much as well...wished he would come to Bulgaria, too. Would totally love to show him around and have a beer with him....

Travel and beer, two of my favourite things. About 8 years ago I found some excellent local beer in Minsk at Rakovsky Brovar. I don't know if the microbrewery scene has become more popular in Belarus since then but if there are more I would like to see a report on them. Keep up the good work.

8:27 A bloke from the UK complaining about the weather is like an Eskimo complaining about snow.
@TURUL Don't make my laugh my friend -well too late for that
@Northern dancer well I haven't lived my whole life in England but tbf the weather is generally shit. You rarely get to see the sun and it's always raining and if it's not raining it's cloudy and dark as fuck. I guess people from different countries have a different definition of what good weather means. Being from a place where the sun is always shining doesn't help I guess :)
Edit: Luckily we have been getting some warm days lately
Why do you think we travel abroad!?!

I think I might´ve commented one some your videos, but after watching the last video you did before being kicked out Russia, I decided to grab some good beer and join you on your trip through Belarus drinking beer that I wish I could try, but since I´m living in Germany I thought this might be just a "drink some beer while Bald is having a good time in local soviet shop" but bloody hell was I wrong. The thing I love so much about your videos is, when you are watching on a big enough screen, I have the feeling that I´m there with you. There are thousands of vloggers out there in the world, but you my friend have some kind of style that transports me to the places that you´ve explored. That is the reason why I wanna thank you for the glorious adventures that you´ve taken through the former soviet union. I not only learned I heck of a lot about russian culture, but I feel I have experienced these places myself. I don´t think you will ever read this Bald, but thank you for your videos, they have been the greatest vlog videos on TH-cam for me, have a good one!
I came for the beer, I stayed for the history and your explanations. You got a well deserved sub from me.

I just realized why this month is called May.
It may rain, it may snow, it may be 70 degrees or it may be 20 degrees. 🤦🏻♀️🤷♀️ Hello From Finland 🇫🇮
👌 that made me laugh 😄 we have the same weather here in Scotland in May 🏴
May is the same in Australia even though we are transitioning into winter...especially Melbourne. Weather in our city is the worst in the whole country. If it wasn’t for the weather, I think the demeanour of the general populous would be so much nicer. I used to love this city but as I age I think my personality would be better suited to Europe. I have an Eastern European demeanour.
