I don’t think you can go wrong here - the 2016-19 Africa Twins are much simpler than the 2020 and up, so it’s easier to turn off TC, etc which I like. The T7 is great and a bit newer, but has less power and slightly less comfy for longer rides. Depending on your specific needs it could differ, but I would go Africa Twin

Not at all! Very similar in nature, the Africa Twin feels a lot stronger
