I sold my WR 450 for a BMW F700GS, put it on the trails and quickly added a KLX300. Now I know why I rode 2 strokes throughout Colorado single-track for so many decades. That AT must weigh damm close to my 700GS, I commend you dude. Thanks for the great video.
That trail looked extremely dangerous to me! I kept wincing every time you barely skinned by a sharp tree log sticking out. So easy to get seriously messed up on a trail like that. Glad you made it ok. You definitely have proven that it's not the bike, it's all about the rider.
LOL I practiced dropping mine and jumping out of the way in my yard (soft Grass). I ride lots of off road and gravel but just do not possess the long legs to do some of your stuff. I'm still having lots of fun. I go slow when in doubt.@@thatguyonanafricatwin
Tip- publish your videos to 1440p even if the source footage is not. youtube treats videos 1440 and up differently and you wont see that motion blur/buffering problems. your videos will have much higher quality even though you filmed in 1080
@@thatguyonanafricatwin thanks I’ll keep an eye on it .. have about 11000 miles on mine at the moment but it hasn’t seen much off-road whether or not that matters .. ride safe 👍🏽
This is probably the most tech and remote terrain AT was ever in. And the most calm narrated situation.
I've had a few people comment on narration. Glad you like it 🤙
That was some serious technical riding on that trail. Well done young Jedi Master on single track!.
Thanks so much, I appreciate your comment! 🙏
i have not seen anyone on AT do this kind of trail alone, you got balls of steel !
impressive !
Thanks!

The KLX is a great choice for trails 👍. The GS is probably pretty comparable yes 🤙
Insane skill on the AT.
Thanks! 🙏
Nice work on that bike dirt bike! Always good for inspiration, thank you!
Thank you!

Thanks, in that area the trees are only cut as far as they need to be!
That's a GNARLY trail for a 500lb bike! Nice work.
Some parts are, but it's so much fun!
Definitely have balls of steel
Awesome video, killer skills. See you next year at the Gathering.
Thanks! Sounds good 🤙
Thanks for the daily dose of anxiety. You’re an animal on that AT
Thanks! You're very welcome 🤙
Very nice riding and handling that beast. I'd love to learn how to handle my AT like that.
Thanks! I started by dropping mine a bunch 🤣. If that isn't your cup of tea then an off road course would be great place to start. 🤙

Hopefully you'll do a video about The Adventure Bike Gathering, I've got plans on Vancouver Island that weekend but maybe next year 👍
I will do a gathering video. That's too bad, but have fun! 🤙
More videos please 🎉
Respect! 🤘
Thank you 🤙
buenisimo , manejar esa moto tan pesada es complicado
Gracias. Pienso que estos motos son pensado cuando tu manejas lentamente.
Excellent video! Is this manual or DCT?
Manual

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try it out 👍
Would be happy to join you but no way would I do that alone on my AT...
That's one of the tougher trails that I've been on. It took lots of scouting to do the whole thing
How do you deal with the front wheel abs going downhill? I find that the only downside of my crf1000l
I normally have good traction on the front end and the ABS doesn't kick in much. I also use a lot rear brake.
how tall are you? youre a beast on that thing
Thank you. I am 6'/183cm
That´s heavy for quit a big bike ....your are in cross bike area already, anyway good stuff.
Thanks! 🙏
What tires are you running on the twin? Looks like a pretty aggressive knob for such a big bike.
Dunlop D606 front D908 rear
How many miles were on your bike when the said bearings went bad?
About 24000km. Just the sprocket carrier, the other wheel bearing are still good.

I did have some rust on the inboard side of the bearing. There was probably some water that infiltrated. You should have lots of miles still.
Are you on the AT with DCT?
Mine is a manual
We should all pitch in for him to buy a new camera. Either everything is overexposed or too dark and a bit blurry. Anyway I love your content.
The camera is brand new. I need to play with the settings more. Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
I have been thinking about this for a few months now hahaha.
Dont know if i could deal with dropping my at and scratching it like yours.
It bothered me at the beginning. I feel like it is a record of my progression now
