    I bought this system last month after watching your review of the PTU-5000. Amazon was showing it out of stock for a few weeks and then it showed up at my door step 5 days later. I have used it twice and I am very happy with the performance of the PTU-7000.

    i just ordered this only because of your review. You are more candid than the other vloggers, I checked out the other vloggers reviews on the PTU5000 and they never even mentioned how horrible the on and off switch is (that doesnt have a standby mode) but you mentioned it. Also we laughed about how you said the logo isn't even on the PTU500 mics---thats honesty in a nutshell. I hope to meet you at Expo 2022 in Vegas!

    i have the PTU-5000 and have been happy with it so far. Super fun for home or small events. Having the variable frequencies would give confidence in larger settings where you may be getting frequency overloads.

    Kept coming across the Phenyx brand on my Facebook page. Was thinking it was too good to be true, even thought it appeared to be a handsome unit. Starting doing a little homework to see what professionals were saying. Thank you for the review. You helped me make up my mind.

    Love it! Love it!! Love it!!! Maaaan! I was looking for a good mic set up and was dreading having to come up with $500-$800 for one mic and receiver. Here I get four mics for less than the price of one, (shure or sennheizer). You put it out, I took it in. Cleveland Terry has done it again!!!

    I went back to find this video because I thought I missed it but didn't realize if was a video from a year ago. I watched this one, but thought that you had a newer set you were going to review. I see Phenyx advertising their PTU model of mics now that look real good and thought maybe you got some of those.

    Thanks for the review, Cleveland! I bought the PTU 7000 after watching this video and getting consistent dropouts with cheap AF wireless mics. No frequency control, barely any volume control, and a TS receiver that kept getting bumped and moved around led to dropouts. Haven't had an issue with this system and am that much more confident in addressing my clients' needs!

    THANK YOU Cleveland for doing this review! I’ve been a KJ for years, but I’m finally putting together my own equip to do my own gigs. I’m used to using the Shure Beta58a wireless mics, but the pgxd24/Beta58a sets are on back order everywhere, so I’ve been looking for something cheaper to use while I wait that still sounds decent. Thank you for such an honest, thorough review. I’m buying them today! Love your channel, and even though your channel is aimed mostly for DJs I find your insight incredibly helpful. :)

    I have been using the Phenyx Pro U7000 for over year now at a karaoke bar, it sounds really good and feels like an expensive microphone. The only two things that i don't really like about the mic is the off and on switch, Singers keep turning it off and on when they shouldn't be. And when the mic gets dropped on the hard floor, the Mic head gets easily damaged and needs to get replaced. The problem is that You can't just purchase a new mic head. The good thing is that replacing the mic itself will only cost you about $40.00.

    The great part about about the PTU 5000 , is actually the location of the mic power switch , it's out of the grasp of singers , where you have it ....I've been hosting Karaoke shows for 16 years or so ..An ongoing problem is that singers are ALWAYS hitting and squeezing the on /off switch causing the mic to cut in and out ..The main body of the mic is a bad location for all singers ...I love the location of the switch down low and out of the way ...Pheynx , don't mess with the switch location ..If it's not broke , don't fix it ...

    • @chrish7336
      @chrish7336 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Perhaps instead, they should offer microphones with choice of positions. I see the pros and cons of both setups. Choice dependent on how it is being used.
      Karaoke, I can see having it out of the way. But for most presentations and singers they will know how to handle the mic.

    • @henriquemiranda5748
      @henriquemiranda5748 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not recommend phenyx pro anymore, their products are super cheap, I got the ptu-71 , the dual handheld , 2 antennas already broke, one receiver went out, and on the handheld the little plastic cover that is on top of the lcd display got pushed in. Cheap. So I went and spent 700 bucks on a SHURE SLX-D and it was the best purchase ever, expensive well built mic, never again I’ll buy these cheap Chinese mics. Also, for karaoke they sound okay ish, for professional singers it’s garbage. Put some headphones on and listen to yourself with these mics, they got a lot of distortion, prob don’t come out as bad on a PA, but home sound systems and in ear monitors, you will hear it all the time, I couldn’t do it. Don’t buy any phenyx mics. All garbage
