I’m a SHURE (SM58 & BETA-58) guy needed to add a dual wireless system to my DJ rig. One of my dear friends who is also a DeeJay told me about the Phenyx Pro products. He uses the 4 Channel version. I only needed 2, so I bought this one.
I really wanted the new BLX288/SM58 which comes in at $650 and on a current promo of $599. I got this system on Monday and ordered the new Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 Tuesday…for the quality and how I’m going to use them the $137 (after coupon) is a killer deal I’m certainly a Phenyx Pro fan going forward

Hey Mate, cool review! Which camera are you using for your videos?

I use these in my live gigs-- love wireless mics because as a frontman, they allow for freedom of movement. To me, the PTU-71 sounds great- I bought it on a gamble but I'm so glad I did.

Just bought this!! TO ME ONLY ONE FLAW NOT RECHARGEABLE!! Not a deal breaker I'll buy rechargeable batteries probably Panasonic.
40 years in the studio, also being a lead guitarist, singer, and playing All the instruments including my own karaoke DJ business. I always wanted a wireless microphone without breaking the bank..
I was always a wired guy. They just sound better And you're always close enough to use a wired one even if you're hosting karaoke wired is plenty good especially if you have a 20-ft cord using XLR.
For instance if using a sm58 wired to get the wireless version RIDICULOUSLY MORE EXPENSIVE never found it cost-effective or worth it for that type of money to get the same sound you can get for 1/3 the price or lower.. And I think the SM58's were plastic so they would break quicker in replacing them is a fortune.. The SM58s whatever version wired are like a tank I've had them for years and years still work great we're talking over 35 years of people dropping them singing.. The Phenyx Pro our belt like the wired version of the SM58s.. shure CHEAPING OUT ON THE WIRELESS VERSIONS FOR THAT MONEY REALLY!!
Saw the Black Friday deals. Looking at the JBL wireless and then these popped up.
I watched other videos comparing them to the wireless version of the SM58 and the wired version going back and forth back and forth. THERE WAS NO AUDIBLE DIFFERENCE!!
So I picked up a set of these I'll be doing review eventually.. finally getting into the wireless game when it comes to microphones something like this is great sounding and the correct price..
Not to mention if you're hosting karaoke as I'm also not only a musician but a DJ karaoke host if they break these microphones you can replace the capsules, and the bodies or you can buy a whole new microphone for $50 and under it's just a no-brainer for the sound quality of what they offer.
HOPEFULLY ONE DAY THEY WILL MAKE A RECHARGEABLE VERSION THAT YOU CAN JUST BUY SEPARATELY AND JUST ADD!! Maybe you can just buy a rechargeable capsule that you can just screw on the bottom.. who knows...
    Peace out God bless

Has anybody used Eneloop 1900mAh batteries on these? How many hours do you typically get out these cells? Also, how is the accuracy of the battery indicator when rechargeable Eneloops are used?

I usually get around 6 hours of consistent use before I need to switch out batteries.

The problem I have with cheap wireless microphones is when they lose signal every now and then

I have the same microphone PTU-71 system, was able to test them at my church. With range, etc.... So far it's very good and I was able to try different frequencies and there were some that are bad, that's why I recommend putting every mic 10 channels/grouping away from each other so u don't get any clippings interference.

pop sounds are too harsh, if Phenyx manage to correct that this will be a killer set.

True, if they included a windscreen on the inside of the capsules then that would help

@@KeefKeyzproductions there is another review in youtube, the guy put inside the capsule a windscreen, it did not help at all,. it looks like a design issue of the capsule.

    Are the capsules removable?
