    1st time I heard of these. There are times where Im ok with not having a built in back up recording but for wedding work, I just can't take that chance. However, for other stuff this is a Kick Butt system. Especially for quick social media content creation. This might be the best noise cancelation I have seen/heard on a system like this. That wind sample you shared was insane. Great video review Armando. I'm always interested in your take on stuff. Thank you so much for doing what you do..

    Nice product with 4 transmitters. I would suggest do not use background music for video that is about audio device. I can not hear background sound clearly as the background music is overpower the actual background sound from the device.

    I love these! I was ready to comment before I got through your video. Yes they are battery powered and people may be concerned about how long the batteries will last but I’m hooked. I’ve had to record a question/answer session and I was able to place mics in different locations and pic up the best sounds without even places mics on individual speakers. It has issues but I love them. So easy to hid in places to pic up sound.

      Funny you say that because I thought the same thing, 99% of the time I’m using 1-2 mics so if they dropped the price by $100 and offered 2 with the ability to expand that would be awesome. Also thanks for stopping by dude, hope you and your family are doing well

    The Noise Cancellation is fantastic, this is a kool audio kit that am thinking of getting for interviews how so ever here is a draw-back where you have to raise or lower the volume on the device instead of the receiver which should have had mute buttons as well so the guest don't play with the volume as all the audio mixes as one. Even if the receiver is a little bigger it should allow you to control each mic separately & lastly the lav mics should have been included even if it would cost a bit extra.

    I love my Zoom H1n because it's compact and very portable, plus it's cheap and uncomplicated to use. The Vimo Q makes the perfect accessory because of its compact and convenient overall package, plus it too is relatively inexpensive and uncomplicated to use. I use them for my postgraduate research where I have to do everything myself -- when it's game time, I need to focus on the interview protocol, managing the multiple interviewees and extracting the qualitative data I need. The last thing I want is to get distracted grappling with fancy schmancy audio gear, I just want to push a button knowing it's gonna work. This thing is perfect.

    Armando very good review! It's an amazing budget option especially for everything that you get. I'm running the Fulaim X5 (2 transmitter) setup and the internal recording has spoiled me, but this new offering not having that is not a deal breaker. Thank you for your review. Grace and Peace

    I had the Saramonic Blink 500 and the case stopped charging. The store replaced it for me, and the second one also stopped charging. The recent incident I mention is because I get the impression that it's the same build quality. And when it comes to audio, I prefer to pay more and worry less.

    This is exactly what I needed. But I need your opinion. I need a set like this with 4 transmitters. I’m a musician and need one for a violin, 2 for 2 acoustic guitars and one for an acoustic bass connected with lavaliers. The receiver would be connected to a small speaker. Do you think these can handle that scenario?

      When you use Stereo mode, MIC 1 and 3 are the left channels and MIC 2 and 4 are the right channels. You can select the microphone before you use it. When using Mono and Stereo modes, all you need is an adapter cable to connect camera or computer devices with receiver.

    Once again, a new product with non-removable internal batteries. Not only does this pose problems for extended shooting sessions, but it also means that once the batteries reach the end of their life cycle, the entire system becomes e-waste-a disaster for both the environment and your wallet. Take the Sennheiser AVX, for example, with similarly sized transmitters yet still incorporates a removable rechargeable battery. Therefore, size shouldn't serve as an excuse. Armando, we're in 2024, TH-camrs like you with significant influence over brands could leverage their platforms to exert pressure on manufacturers, urging them to stop with planned obsolescence. Thank you for considering this important matter

    • @mondobytes
      @mondobytes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      Not sure if you saw the whole video but you can charge while using them at the same time. So this isn't a problem with extended shooting sessions, just grab the smallest portable power bank with a 1inch cable and throw everything in your pocket where the transmitter would normally be anyway.
      In regards to creating e-waste, I don't see how making a product that requires batteries every time you use it and then disposing of said batteries and doing that several times a month better than having no waste at all. Understand that battery tech has come a long way, I have have phones that are 5+ years old used daily that still hold a solid charge like day 1. I've owned electrical vehicles for over 4 years with literally no battery degradation.
      This little microphone is not going to be used like a phone, car, or any other device that gets used heavily so I'd imagine the lifespan of these batteries should easily be 20+ years which by then better tech would exist and most people would be upgrading anyway.
      Again, I have tons of products with built in batteries that are 5+ years and still work perfectly fine, if I'd had to use batteries every time I needed to use them the amount of waste created would be a ton not to mention also cost of operating. Sorry man, respect your point of view but don't agree with it.

    • @Superjeanmarc
      @Superjeanmarc 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@mondobytes Armando, thanks for you reply. I might not have expressed myself correctly. I of course do not refer to AAA batteries, but removable rechargeable battery units, like you can find in the AVX.
      In regards to using powerbanks... You are a professional knowing that no one wants to deal with this kind of jerry rigged solutions on set.. Specially in a case where you are dealing with 4 talents 😅 .. Not to mention the receiver.. no one wants to attach a power bank to your camera when you could simply swap a battery? Let's be serious one second..
      If you have 5 years old phone that charges like day 1, I'd love to know the model and brand. And even if, as you suggest, a product would last 20 years, once the life cycle of the battery is done, you still would need to throw away your entire system, instead of just replacing the battery. Sorry man, respect your point of view but don't agree with it.

    • @DimplePoji
      @DimplePoji 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There are different spectrum of consumers. Non professional or hobbyist like me won't likely need the replaceable battery cos our usage are more than often less frequent than professionals that does frequent job requiring hours of usage week in week out. Hence this serve my demographic just nice where the battery will take many years to degrade its life cycle to zero. ✌️

    • @mondobytes
      @mondobytes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      @@Superjeanmarc You might have missed the part where these are for non professional or hobbyist like @DimplePoji said it. FYI the battery life on these are 16 hours! Assuming you use 2 which most people would that's 32 hours of battery life! Dude if you need more than that then you need to buy a different set of mics lol.
      No need to agree with me, these mics are catered to a specific demographic and are priced accordingly which makes sense. Battery technology is amazing and these will easily surpass their tech that even if the battery was removeable as you suggested, people would upgrade because I'm certain the next version of these mics will have internal recording, 32bit float and a plethora of features and priced cheaper so why would anyone buy these 3 years from now?
      Don't have to agree with me but these are facts based on how fast technology moves. Just how people upgrade phones every 2-3 years this is no different.
