The Pikmin aren't really slaves, i mean, yeah they are being thrown, but they clearly follow him willingly. Also, in later games, it seems he helped them grow in numbers from near extinction

Honestly, the Inklings were the least expected result. And despite the Great Turf War, Octarians and Octolings aren't exactly evil; they're just eternal rivals of the Inklings. This is something else, though, yet with the Salmonids, yes, they might look ugly, and the game even warns you; think twice before applying. Sure, I like Salmon Run (it's just not shown because of... schedules), and despite I know it could be damage to the Salmonids, it's because Grizz FORCES it. He's a bear radio, but he might be a REAL bear!
And, despite everything wrong he might do, Mario will still be the adventurer (he was originally designed as a Carpenter, for how much I remember from reading a notice about him) we know and love. Even if Odyssey does not have Game Over screen.

Well you have to go to the poke center if one of your Pokémon faints because you won’t be able to use that Pokémon until it is healed. It is always about making sure your Pokémon are healed and ready for battle

this is actually proven in pikmin 3 in the final cutscene seeing them be in more clumps and working together unlike the 1st which where usually tiny groups of them.

This is just my explanations for the points you brought up, I ain’t salty or angry, just my explanations for why these characters do what they do
Olimar was actually needed as he not only helped Pikmin defend themselves, but as we learn from the end of the game, Pikmin have grown better as a species due to Olimars influence
With Kirby, we need to remember that not only are most enemies more than ready to end him, but also that Kirby has the same mindset as a small child, so he is acting in self defense, not to mention that no one could have pieced together Star Wand in Dream fountain equals Nightmare also Kirby is clearly no Waddle-Dee or Waddle-Doo, he is a different species.
Pokémon Trainers clearly have a type of beneficial relationship with Pokémon, since Pokémon get protection from predators and free food and Pokémon Trainers get a pet/guardian
Inklings have been shown to not have knowledge of things before the water risings as shown in Splatoon 1 where they think a human skeleton was performing a ritual with a WII U and in this case, they are just doing a job by someone who may or may not be an animal they don’t know exists or don’t know much about.
As for Mario, Him not being the best person is a given, but people really need to stop using footage of them throwing the penguin from SM64 or the blue toad as those are player driven actions and are clearly optional compared to the Yoshi one, as for the money investing; he clearly is shown fixing the castle in Mario Makers Story mode and the whole Goomba thing is self explanatory, The Goombas clearly hurt him and they come from Bowser; not to mention they have sharp teeth which most likely implies they bite Mario.

Kirby isn’t a villain, but he is the literal definition of a chaotic neutral. I mean, he acts on his impulses to do things. Often, he does end up siding with good guys, but he jumps into action without thinking: “HMMMM, let’s think about this...” We can see this in Squeak Squad when Kirby’s cake is stolen and he just assumes it’s Dedede. After he sees the evil squeak squad has stolen Dedede’s chest, again, just assumes that the cake is in there (which unleashes a goddamn DEMON). He causes the plot line in the story, and yes, fixes them, but because he has to, not out of choice. Not a villain, but not good either.
