The look of pure horror on Luigi’s face as he sees an unmasked shy guy… he’s the only other Nintendo character that knows what a shy guy’s face looks like. They might actually just have no face though, in the Golden Coliseum in Paper Mario Color Spalsh, a shy guy says to Mario, “You reek of confidence. And you have a face. You’d make a terrible shy guy.” He might just be referring to his face being hidden, but I’m kind of unsure now.

I love how most of these are silly and lighthearted, and then there's Dark Samus.

Cubone is pretty underwhelming without his skull but that could just be a case of the manufacturer having no choice to put something there for the actual plush to hold firmly. As for Shy Guys, I would not be surprised it there REALLY was nothing under their mask, creepy as they are. Also, the Shy Guy ghosts in Luigi's Mansion are not real, they are created by Vincent Van Gore so that's how HE sees them.
Hal Laboratory really needs to develop Meta Knight's backstory and his connection to Kirby. We've known these two are the same species for decades and that Meta Knight doesn't truly consider Kirby an enemy despite their battles so what does he really want with Kirby?

Luigi knowing what Shy Guy looks like under the mask makes him the 2nd most powerful Nintendo character
For the shy guy, i think it's a boo. In one of the yoshi island game, in some levels, we se boos with a shy guy mask on. It doesn't necessarily mean that shy guy= boo , but it's still cool to know
