Classic Ford Show is a staple of the Blue Oval calendar and is BACK at its new home, the South of England Showground! Sun shining, Joe explored the fields of show cars, stunning restorations, projects and mystery cars at The Great Unveiling! The eclectic mix included classic favourites such as a Lotus Cortina Mk1, Corsair Crayford Convertible and Mk1 Transit, 80s icons like a Fiesta XR2 and immaculate Sierra XR4x4 and more modern Fast Fords in the form of an Escort Cosworth, Sierra Cosworth and Focus RS!

Correct, it appeared in season 4,and the sweeney 2 film i believe.
I do admire an old Ford of any kind. Some pristine examples and rare ones at that. I am a big fan of the Mk1 Focus, I have had 3 of them which the last one I reluctantly sold (a low mileage late facelift 3dr). That green one looks great. Glad to see people looking after their cars and giving two fingers to the ULEZ, great video.
love the mk1 focus also.i currently have two..03 zetec black tdci estate and a 53 sport tdci in ink blue..rare seemingly. recently sold my 53 ghia tdci which was mint even underneath regret selling it now and the 03 sport tdci in imperial blue.UP the ULEZ.

That Escort Cosworth at 2m23s is exactly how I’d have mine. Absolutely stunning, nothing I hate more than the upsized standard looking wheels on them.

Seeing them ford corsair's brought back memory's, when I was in my teens I borrowed my dads corsair and wrote it off bad day for me worse day for my dad third party insurance total loss happy to say I was able to buy him another car to replace it wasn't a corsair but he was happy with the car I got him 😁👍

The MK4 Transits especially with the Banana Diesel under the bonnet were the best vans Ford ever made We ran a few of them all pulling trailers with a combined GVW of 6 tons they never missed a beat and often had 500.000 on the clock before we either overhauled or changed them

I've always wanted an estate XR4x4. Super rare, so much I've never seen one except in a brochure.
Love the hatchbacks. I pass a non runner XR4x4 when in mid wales, brings a small tear to the eye. I saw one for sale in NZ once. Getting it back here would've pushed my budget too far. Always wished I could have done it.
There never was an XR4x4 estate, it was a 4x4 Ghia estate, which had the same running gear as the XR4x4 but on a Ghia estate car.
Mk1 was the best looking IMO and the rarest as it was only made for a year or so.
I got very close to buying one some years ago. It was up for £2400, I think (about 10 years ago). I had a test drive of it but it didn't really grab me.
That said, I had just driven 130 miles in a much-newer BMW 530i.

some lovely cars featured although the so called modern classics do nothing for me! each to their own of course, shame you don't see many, if any, mk 4 zephyrs and zodiacs at classic ford meets, the corsairs featured were lovely, re escort mk1s, i actually prefer the bog standard ones as opposed to the hot ones everyone wants, my old dad had a lovely base model 4 door mk1 in the early 70s, great memories
Classic car shows should ONLY allow cars over 40 years old & standard spec, the focus is not a classic yet & them pimped up vehicles should be in a show of their own, anyone can throw money putting big engines & sparkly wheels on a classic, they AINT a classic once you’ve done that s**t to them 🙄
They seem to be more popular now than in their heyday when they were cheap throw away cars I know I had enough them, I do prefer the character of stock ones though rather than the clinically modified stuff, not had a Ford now for over 25yrs but I do miss my first car a 1973 MK3 GXL Cortina 🥲.
