Don’t care about golfing, money. I just want to help ppl get their final expenses together, so their family don’t have to do go fund me or beg family members for money to bury someone🤷🏽‍♀️

Omg! I am temporarily delivering flowers (40yo male) and yesterday was a tough day for me. I delivered to 3 young widows. Instead of flowers, which they weren’t too impressed by, I just wanted to hug them! I want insurance as career for this main reason!

I’m a life insurance agent and the company I work for has so much help and support with training I love it not going anywhere. I’ve already sold policies and recruited while training and already received a bonus. After working for other agencies… I Wouldn’t want to work any place else

Im doing some light research about this and truthfully Im drawn in by the potential longevity and driven purpose with the fulfillment of helping people, as well as the transparency that comes with it as I hate miscommunication and lack of clarity. The money will come if you love what you do and believe in it. I want to be apart of something that makes a significant difference.

This is truthful. Not everyone is built to be boss of their jobs. Some needs salaried job 9 to 5pm and nothing is wrong with that. Others stumbled upon being their own boss, while some knew they built for it.
Me, my mother worked salaried jobs than transition to own her own business. And I knew being your own boss is hard work and working another part time job to help. Once you reach the level than transition to full time own your business.
Plus, you're dealing with many trials and tribulations from families, friends and former co workers. You'll have others who will be envy eyed about your career choices.
Or looking for a handout without working for it for nothing.

I have to take a lot of exams but I know the first year is going to be tough coming in but I don’t really care, Im here in this journey to continue to find out what works for me

Hell I'm 37, and just getting into this industry. After seeing other people have some pretty big success. Some it comes quicker, some it comes later. But let me tell you, nothing is worse than working at a soul-sucking 9 to 5:00. And there is no job security anymore. People can arbitrarily just fire you for nothing. Plus dealing with workplace politics. I just can't do that anymore. This is the best option for me

Love what you’re saying! I see some people post online what the average salaries are actually like for some agents, and from the perspective of not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur it doesn’t really shock me to see what some people make or don’t make. Everyone’s different

If anyone want to become a insurance agent ....ask yourself these questions first why, when, what, where, who, why do you want to be an agent ? When did you decide to become a agent ? What do you know about the life of an agent ? Where do you go to become licensed.. finally who will you work for ? Ok with all of that being said ..let me also say it is a fabulous industry.,..if it is meant for you. Secret think Service over sales and you just might become a million dollar round table member..... Integrity and ethics over Money

Ancient wisdom says: "He that maketh haste to be rich, shall Not be innocent." Most on-line bull-shit courses (and crooked MLM's) claim you'll be raking in a million, within 6 to 12 months.
But, trust-worthy (older generation) experts tell you it takes about 20 years to build a truly SOLID business.

I love when people say they wanna be their own boss so they can golf or go fishing every day lol. Yes you can do that after you've built your business. How can you build a business from the ground up if you're on the back 9 or fishing all the time? Haha

Those were not my point. The main thing that attracted me to insurance was the marketing. I can test out different marketing strategies to gain more customers and number two it’s a product that everyone needs you are not selling hospital equipment to doctors or trying to sell solar panels. Another thing was that there not a lot of Latino insurance agents in North Carolina but there are a lot of Latinos who own businesses, cars, homes and so on. The money for me was just the cherry on top of the Sundae.

Well here is a fourth thing you need to work in insurance. You have to be a heartless pos. You need to realize you are not there to help your clients, you are there suck as much money from them as you can. Saving money for your company is most important. I learned this after my house caught fire last year. I don’t see how you people sleep at night.
