- I don't think my brain managed to process this comeback lol I like it, like I was singing along to it and stuff but weirdly enough I didn't have the spark that I had when watching and hearing their other songs for the first time? This song sounds almost too safe? Or am I missing something? That why I felt unsettled here. The aesthetic and boldness of the MV felt mismatched with the song for some reason like the visual and song weren't balanced? Idk but I liked the song, I just wanted to find that spark though, that's all.

The song really gives a 2nd gen vibe with a gen z style. It was so good maybe there's just too much happening that's why my brain can't process it that well HAHAH
Yeah right there is too much happening which grabs your attention but at the same time it gets difficult to process since too much info coming at same time and our brain gets kinda overwhelmed. After 2-3 watch it gets easier 😂
Yeah the melody is kinda 2nd gen, while the vocals and visuals is really current.

While this, the sound, the MV, it needs quite some time to process.
I feel that to appreciate the song on first few listens, it's best listened to without the MV as the MV is such a feast for the eyes and so fast moving with so many change ups that it's impossible to process the song right away, our brains aren't capable of processing this much ITZY at once! 💙

This song is quite peculiar, a very big percentage of why ITZY are my ults is their music , and every time their songs are a instant hit for me , but this one did take a couple of listens to get into , i think you described it very well when u said they are playing it safe this time around , still a great bop tho dont get me wrong , and the MV in true ITZY fashion is on another level
What I noticed at my first listen is that I needed a breath after. Like the song went on without any pause, it was running at 100% the whole time. I'm not saying it's bad, but it was different and made me speechless. It's not that Itzy sound we were used to, but I quite like it too.

This song is definitely more vocal heavy (opposite of MITM).. i can see why this song was chosen as title..it even has a dance break... choreo looks energy consuming too.

I think what’s missing in the song is a slower bridge to change the intensity, the song continues on a constant and it’s a bit difficult to keep up with the different verses because it’s all just going so fast. It’s a great song regardless and I love the concept and bsides
I think that would make the song boring. Honestly slowing it down in the bridge is so over used and predictable.

This song has definitely grown on me!! This is usually how ITZY songs go. The first listen makes you unsure how to feel about it, and after a few more listens you become OBSESSED. I can't stop randomly singing the chorus throughout my day

the song also sounds a little playful yet hits hard but the whole cinematography is
different [ so much that for me , it doesn't look like it is from JYP ent. ] . it throws
things at you at such fast pace that you need to watch it multiple times in order
to grasp everything .

listening to the song alone is a whole experience itself i especially love the drums and the little guitar moments here and there. the mv is just sensory overload with all the visuals going on with such a fast paced, dynamic, fun song

Listen i was just as speechless because OMG Itzy serves everytime and this song has such a melodramatic sound that is just so good. Like it fits a music soundtrack for like Harley Quinn or something. But its so so soooo good.

after the Huge Mega hits of their past songs anything after wannabe will feel like it won't ever reach that height. I first realized this with Not Shy and I was okay with it. now with Loco I feel a huge change in their style of music which is what I expected to happen and I'm glad their branching out. this is my fav since wannabe in a long while so I'm definitely excited that for the full album it will only enhance the experience.

Yeah. The first time I watched it, I was also confused? a bit but after watching it a few more times it grew on me and it was so good.
As I've said before, all their songs are experimental but it really suits them. That's why I'm drawn to them I guess. You can give them any type of music and they will deliver it well 👍🏻

I feel you, I had a feeling the song was off at first listen but now I'm digging it, I feel like it's a mix of a lot of stuff I heard before so it confused me but yet I like it and now it's growing, besides this, the visuals are impecable as always.
At first i had the same reaction that you have/had but i listened the last 5 hours to the song 2 times and i can feel how it grows on me. This was the same with their previous songs. And tbh i think this is their best MV they've ever released.

It's normal, my assumption is we get overwhelmed and I am already getting used to it (that confused feeling) my suggestion is i usually watch the MV and listen to it regularly a few times in several days to digest the masterpiece piece by piece and after that, i could conclude do I like it or not.
