- This was electrifying for sure (pun intended) !!! The intensity all throughout gave me no time to rest or even breathe, like it was that intense! Though I enjoy this type of "noise" music I have to say that because this song was SO intense the chorus didn't stand out that much in comparison to their other songs/korean releases. I believe the most impactful part of a song should be the chorus and here, even though it is a great one, it didn't strike me as the most impactful part of the song actually. The aww part was memorable and the verses actually sticked to me more weirdly enough. I usually think of JYP as a label that makes incredibly catchy choruses specifically but here it was a bit hidden in the rest of the song unfortunately. The girls look so so so good, as per usual and damn the MV was a lot! Like acid lot lol I don't know if it's good or bad, it's just a lot!

Chaeryeong shined so much she had so many lines, center and screentime!! At first listen I was thinking just like you, the chorus felt underwhelming and not as impactful as the rest of the song, but it grew on me and now I think the chorus is my favorite part!! It sounds like a cartoon theme song, kinda like Kim possible (the music video too!)

Chaeryeong had so much screentime/lines, that made me so happy!!😭❤ Her biker outfit was literally my favourite in this MV! She's already my main biaswrecker like damn at this rate she's gonna be my 2nd bias with Yeji. 😩💕
But I also felt like all the members shined equaly in this MV. Literally have favourite parts with all the members, might be their best line distribution to date in a title track!
itzy’s chorus always felt empty for me everytime i hear it for the first time but then the more i replay it, the more i get addicted to their choruses

lia showed her effortless fierceness and yes i love her deep voice, yeji showed her light fury power esp the growl LOLL, yuna showed her power too esp her eyes and deep voice too, chaeryeong got so much screentime and i love it and her dance lines omg, ryujin owned this concept like any concept she has ever done IMO. also so true i find comfort to noise and i love girlcrush concepts and will never get tired of it! omg this song totally is giving kim possible and girlboss on a spy mission.

i think the chorus is insanely catchy, especially because of the instumental. keeps me want to listen over and over. I do agree that the "lyrical catchiness" isnt that strong tho

Japan definitely showing love for ITZY! The MV was high intensity, colorful and lots of speed motorcycles which many gravitate too (a la "Fast and the Furious). For me, the beat early in the song when Ryujin starts rapping is a sick BEAT!

Hello everyone, I love all the songs of this group.Each member has her own style . I think it's time for them to open up a little more to the world. I think they should make a debut in English. Also, if they can write a song like Red Velvet's monster, Ryujin and yeji can create a big bomb:)

They made an English debut last year in January but they have yet to release a single in English. I’m sure they will though since they’ve said before they studied English a lot and in interviews they’re always confident in English.

I personally think that most of ITZY's tracks are very energetic, in an overwhelming way, and I absolutely love it! ITZY is the kind of girl group that grows on you with every re-listen - it was like that with Loco for a lot of people, and I think it will be so with Voltage too.
That being said, the choreo looks so fuuuun!
