the weapons look really fun to use and I like how the hud is implemented. making the HAssault Chaingun an actual weapon is really neat.
im curious what function the gems serve

The gems are just collectibles that gives you score point for now. They are supposed to be a secret citation from another game, small hint is an old PS1 Game from 1998. :)
