While it could cost more and slower to apply wrap vs painting by robots, it avoids the need for the baking room and the added value to consumer of getting rid of paint contaminant problems which etch into paint and hard to remove if not clean immediately.
For the helmets, it depends on the design and can be a mix of paint and stickers. My dad’s done plenty at his body shop. It’s well worth doing a properly done helmet looks spot especially if it matches the vehicle like the excellent job done on Bug Zappa!

That's a really crazy mad colour scheme. You can only appreciate and understand why, looking at the history of cars that the "Bug Zapper" is based on. Now you can see the sense it makes.

Years ago I used to Club Rally my 1071 Mini Cooper S...(No, I was rubbish at it but the car was good but I used Fablon on the doors to carry the numbers. This was never really successful as I needed about 5 Squares before I got one flattened smoothly 🙀 Anyway, I didn't get a career out of it :-)
I didn't know where this was going at first, but the end result is pretty great, as was this Inch Pincher Too which I just love (is the red paint metallic?). Nice and creative.
Looking like a Race-Car, when its standing still, it will be a blur otherwise, So the Photo of "Inch-Pincer" on back of Kombi Tray back, Are you going to recreate that with yours ? Electric Race Car, Electric Transport Truck ...

Helmet custom designs are mostly airbrushed....there must be quite a few around in England who do this work (like all the F1 helmets)
