btw i was there when that happened. yep it was indeed at 8:30 eastcoast time. in one of my comments earlier. i said that i was a co-gm of the guild "Order of the Righteous", now called "Virtue Prevails" on Dalaran US. GM's name is Kornbredkhan and he is a complete sham. He stole all the guild bank money in claims of support for the guild and guild events, when in reality its obvious he just pocketed them.
in fact, when the video went live, since its about his old guild and its obvious, he told his guildies not to watch the video, because "It promoted toxicity". quite funny really.
@@zarkeven yoooo I was in the guild on Dalaran for a week. He spun this whole narrative that nazis were blackmailing him and that I should move to aegwynn with him and he would make me co gm. Fast forward to yesterday and he did the same fucking thing. He kicked everyone out of the guild once he was caught in his lies and switched the guild with millions of gold to a new server.
Final story: leave and go join Becca's guild

I [apparently] joined the new guild on the new server but there were so many red flags that I started looking into things and came across this video. It filled in so many gaps. Thanks for posting. Gquit the day before watching this and now I'm 100% glad I did.

Lol in BWL my entire guild was telling jokes and laughing in discord, and one guy said “hey clear until we finish explaining please” and everyone shut up. This happened several times. everyone was happy.
Eventually wiped on Nefarian, but still a silly, feel-good, fun time.

Its funny to hear the tryhard raid leaders ordering people around, acting like D bags etc when you have world first raiders like Gingi and Roger brown and the other method members having a grand time, joking around, chatting having fun etc and they will do 300 pulls on a boss.

Jan Šebek Because, quite frankly, OotR and Virtue Prevails were guilds ran by a cuckold who destroyed our server’s community. They deserve to be ousted.
He pulled this shit again yesterday. He switched the guild to aegwynn and renamed the guild “Postive Vibes”. He just kicked everyone out of the guild and took off with all the gold money to KT. We have records of him scamming a guild on Moonguard as well.
We wiped on normal wrathion for 3 hours but we are going to jump straight to mythic. To quote Tony Stark - Not a great plan.

One of the reasons I never really got into Raiding... Aside from the "robotic play" it enforces and how long it takes you to earn gear in pretty much any game (look, it's only difficult and interesting until you figure the content out. Once you have, it's just a grind that exists for no reason. Once it ceases to be fun, I just want my loot so I can stop doing the thing that's not fun), anyway. The attitude of Raiders.
"We gonna schedule this every single week."
"We gonna have Static Groups."
"We gonna have learning stuff on the side, sometime, that we'll also schedule."
"We are here to do this content as quickly as possible to get our loot for the week."
"Joking and having fun? YOU CAN'T DO THAT DURING RAID PROGRESSION!"
"You're in Team Whatever."
"We're going to yell at you if you mess up or learn more slowly and not offer you help or advice!"
All of this is the "Stop Having Fun Guys". It's just... meh. I'm not interested in dealing with sweaty antisocial idiots whose only aspirations, goals, and accomplishments are in a video game. I mean... at the end of the day... who REALLY gives a crap that you completed your Raid? Or got your drop? Epic or otherwise? Who REALLY cares? Other people in the game you play? Probably not. Not unless they're actually you're friend. Not the 4 million Randos you see on each Server. Got on the best gear? They don't give two craps. They only care that they can get the best gear so that they can pretend, like you, that other players care about them having the Raid Gear on. Oh, you got "World First"? Who cares EXCEPT players who want to compete for that? Which is to say... less than 1 half of 1% of any given player population.
So, really... Why not Raid for fun? Why does it have to be a Scheduled Static with Several Teams where everyone is stressed out and has homework? What is this... freakin' High School? I'd rather have fun. I'd rather go in with randoms or newbies and do the learning together. Joking around, asking questions, explaining mechanics, and feeling the same sense of accomplishment the newbies do when it all goes off well.
This year is the first year I've ever done Raids. Did them for FFXIV. Learning the mechanics of the bosses and going in blind was fun. Having players help me when I repeatedly failed was fun. When I was finally able to do them without any issue... I felt like I'd learned a new and important skill. I then pulled a few of my Guildies into a Raid with me and taught them how to do stuff while we had more randoms to fill out the team. I did another week of raiding where I was coaching some other randoms who kept dying through the Raid.
But, the extremely long time it would take to farm up the Raid gear... discouraged me. So, 3 weeks of raiding in... and I was just done doing it. The content itself loses what makes it fun or interesting once you've mastered it. Then, it becomes a job that YOU pay to do. Which, I'm not in favor of. Games need a new system wherein if you've achieved a set of "mastery" for each Raid, you just get the gear you need so you can be done. None of this, "play for 7 or 11 or 20 weeks on this Raid, until next expansion". None of this, "pay us to work this new job you have" crap.

I get the "not a very good player" thing, because I'm not a very good player. My weekly raiding consists of doing Onyxia on 4 characters each week because I want the mount. I can't handle M+ higher than 5. I also mostly play drunk, and I wear the badge of Keyboard Turner with pride. I don't fully understand why everyone hates Warfronts and Island Expeditions so much, I love them, and I run them beyond the weekly cap or Quest in the case of Warfronts.
i was laughing at this so muchat the start, being like "oh wtf, there are other guilds like this random one i'd come across." up until the point preach bought up the website, and i realised i'm in this clans discord, and have been for not very long. when this site was posted in the announcement channels i thought it was kinda shitty that people would do that to a clan. wtffff.
i will say however, if this is indeed the guild i am in,, does actually do alot of giveaways, i have been apart of a couple. they do indeed seem to donate a whole lot if not all of the items donated to the guild bank. idk. super weird thing to find out, for a guild that i have only just found recently, and am not technically apart of.

i left that guild in the story because he demoted me for "being inactive" (i was on every single day), but i called him out before he demoted me. i got that task force together to destroy the guild. would do it again if i had the opportunity.

I was there for vanilla back in 2005. The community was great, but "drama free"? Fam, if we needed a mob drop and you refused to party it turned cut-throat as fuck. There were entire web pages dedicated to listing players who were no longer allowed to progress.
