There's yet to be a point where I laugh harder in this series than when Donaar does his acid vomit. I end up laughing so hard it actually hurts and is difficult to breathe. At least my family will know who to sue if I die from lack of oxygen 😂

Walnut has been the low key MVP of a lot of these shenanigans. You go, girl.
"Care for a dance?" That line was awesome.
The "nasty, vicious animal" that Walnut was looking for that "isn't a badger" is the wolverine. The wolverine has a well deserved reputation for terrible ferocity and strength that is far out of proportion to its own size, with the well documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself.

Sorry guys, I haven't been keeping up with the stream or the comments but has anyone else mentioned that the ornate gothic cart reeking of old money and old magic with the name PERCIVAL written across it is probably Percy Darkmagic's cart.
I had a similar though but kept it to myself. If I remember correctly only the wand boxes had Percival written on it not the wagon itself. So I think that it's possible it might be a delivery vehicle for wands that Percival makes/a company that he owns makes. My initial thought was a rich guy with Darkmagic adjacent taste in wagon decor just bought a bunch of wands when he got goblin'd. Percy is on par with Jim strength wise so he wouldn't have been directly involved because he would have single handedly annihilated all those goblins. I'm just annoyed they didn't install the wands on the wagon... How awesome would it be if the wagon could fire magic missiles or fireballs... Could have been like a James bond car with all sorts of flip out weapons and gadgets...

Jerry f...ing rules. As far as I'm concerned Perkins has competition for best DM, solely for the creativity of Jerry's storytelling. Keep it up Jerry, you're a legend.
That's a pretty foursome of players. I'm not sure if they're a smart foursome, but they're easy on the eyes.
I fucking love this show! Jerry is a super funny DM. i've got a few tips from watching this show. I've now DM'd 3 games and am loving it.
As a GM, I think one of the best things to remember is: Your are not the Player's enemy. You are the Antagonist, sure, you play the enemies. but you are not their enemy. I see so many GMs not realize this and it makes games that just look absolutely unbearable. The GMs job, first and foremost, is to make sure everyone at the table who can have fun, is having fun. As a part of that I make it a point, when I GM, to say yes to the players as much as possible. They get a cool idea and there's no specific setting or story reason why they can't, let them try. Now, I say try, not succeed. it may be very difficult and they may fail, but a Player who is being allowed to try things they think might be cool is a happy player. Jerry does a fairly good job of this.
something to keep in mins, is jerry does a very good job being a specific type of DM. If you want to see a good version of another type of DM i recommend critical role and matt mercer. As a DM you do have to adapt your style to the type of group you are playing with.
Tensen01 I agree. With most points Ive gotten is to make sure things are substantially dope. If its fun and cool I want them to give crazy ideas a shot.
1: I think chris was looking for the word “bivouac” for the army ants.
2: another option for the goblin inquisition problem is to separate them and psychically tell them that if their answers don’t match, they will die.

I think Kthriss should have teleported into the cart covered Rosie with his body and have the tentacles erupt from his back like a Kracken , I bet Jerry wouldn't even have made him roll for that one

I was late to this, I watched them from the behinning on YT and caught up to the live episodes just in time for it to 'end' last yr... Now im binge watching it over again. Good stuff!
Another really good episode...the players are hitting their stride and playing off each other. Wonder how much of the growth can be traced to the "table talk" episodes. If my internet settles down, will have to check those episodes out...

Honestly this is a great group and if Critical Role ends I would be more than happy continuing with these guys. There's something to watching a group that don't know each other that much and form together. Also we need more rapping Jerry :)
I'm going back through the whole campaign to date, and holy shit is this a great episode. So much fun stuff, great lines, good teamwork and storytelling from Jerry.

I was imagining walnut to join Rosie in the cart of goblins as the spider crawling on the ceiling, not sure how long it would hold her weight, buy it would have made for a cool entrance, instead she got on top and webbed a horse, if I was dming I would have made the cart flip, cause of walnuts action...
I'm fully expecting a "Dukes of Hazzard" type opening with scenes of the cart doing jumps from multiple camera angles.

okay I see an upcoming showdown between monks of the grandma force. I mean obviously there are kind grandma users dedicating their powers to help grandchildren everywhere; and crotchety grandma force users, who have nihilistic and personal isolationism tendencies. Maybe Rosie needs will be beseeched great grandma council, being a retired master elder grandma, to solve a great disturbance in the hard candy skirmishes (the werther clan racing the smaller ribbon and brachs kingdoms).
Plus this adds a side quest opportunity to visit the ancient temple of dentists and reveal the back story and hidden mystical powers of the legendary artifact toothbrush donaar found
I have to admit this show is starting to grow on me.

Seriously, the only thing breaking concentration in the scene would have been failing saves on both the javelin and being poked at in the ceiling by the goblins. I'm fearing that from now on every concentration spell will require the caster just to waste their turns concentrating to keep the effect... (I know that in this case nothing bad actually resulted from that)
I am starting to lose track of what their special 5k abilities are. Alright so Walnut's is still Forest Friends, Rosie is Grandmamancy, The Drow is Tentacular Spetacular, and Danaar is... STILL recharging his breath?
