Correction: 5:27 Salvation and Caleb Wycherly have NEVER been canonically confirmed to be the same person ever by anyone who has the authority to do so. They are two different people. Not the same and should not be miss associated as the same.
There is no source anywhere that says that. The only actual evidence of it being in game is from a stream from Drew Wagar where he claimed David Braben told him it was in the game. Drew has no authority or information a normal player wouldn't have, he only paid for the rights to write his books as part of kick starter. There is a large chance he isn't telling the truth.
What about the Unknown Permit locked sectors in the galaxy? There is a huge permit locked area in the Bleia 1 sector. I know that the Col 69 and horse head sectors are possibly thargoids but I wonder what’s in the Bleia sector
David Braben wanted a 10-year plan for Elite: Dangerous. This is the 8th year(I think) and its coming to a close very shortly. I get the feeling after the 10 years the servers will soon shutdown and we may lose Raxxla to time
i definitely think FDev is trying to abandon E:D ASAP as it does not generate a lot of revenue to make it worth developing. so yea i agree that there will be signs of uninterest soon
I've been actively looking for it for the past 4 years. I am relentless I will keep at it until the servers shut down. I love your video cant wait for part 2! Just one thing, dark wheel KNEW where raxxla was but they lost it and looking for it.
@@_The_Specter_ I’ve seen that there maybe a new clue in game found on the Micheal Brooke’s tour. At least Raxxla has been named in game again either way
thanks! this game is cool, but the grind is pretty long. if you have a lot of time to spare, this might be fun but if you do not, other, more fast-paced games might be a good match.
*that would be the case. But given to the fact that the Milky Way in Elite Dangerous is mostly unexplored, the chances of Raxxla not being in the game are low.*
Couple of criticisms: 1. 1:08 You might want to reread that piece in the Codex. The comment in question does not pertain to what Raxxla is, but is referring to the supposed treasure the pair are to go looking "to dig it up". Aside from providing evidence that the Raxxla legend was already in the public consciousness by that time, that little journal entry has nothing to do with Raxxla. 2. 2:10 While "The Formidine Rift mystery" _is_ solved. Thats not the full story. The beacons (which were not to "provide" protection, but merely earmark distant Earth-likes to colonize Humanity if the Thargoid thing went south.) hint at preexisting legends surrounding the Rift, before Project Dynasty. Ships disappearing, strange lights, and all manner of other things happened in the Formidine Rift for unknown centuries. As it stands currently, that particular part of the mystery (concerning Salome) is resolved. But a mysterious permit-locked region still exist within the Rift called the Bovomot Sector, that still holds a secret.
thank you for your corrections! for raxxla, i did realize my mistake there after reading it again. for the formidine rift mystery, i shouldve done a bit more research, the sources were really scattered and it was a bit hard piecing them together. overall, im sorry about the mistakes, thank you for pointing them out!

Raxxla was confirmed to have been "honked" by a Commander somewhere inside of the galaxy. It's a system.
an entire system? you gotta source for it?
Ah I saw that video, it turned out to be a hacked client detecting a ship as a system, which was renamed to Raxxla
It's not true. No evidence whatsoever. Raxxla doesn't exist in the game...

Obviously, Raxxla is the place to which the Borealis got lost into
Maybe a gateway to Beta Phoenicis which is not locked but is outside of the Galaxy map.
4:40 the actuall system of where that station is was unofficially Discovered... It's a long story so i'll try and post a link here

you mean Aulin Enterprise? yeah thats just a station that is in that picture, used as a cool picture

yep, I will over them next!
I think it could be dev related, having permit locked systems for testing purposes.
We'll never find Raxxla...
maybe raxxla is the friends we made along the way
lol
I will.
good luck@@M05tly

sorry for a late reply, but good luck finding Raxxla! ill make part 2 some time, maybe soon
Ahh, Raxxla, I haven’t heard that name in a long time.
A long, long time!
no one simply talks about it, because we have realized that maybe raxxla is the friends we made along the way :)

no clue, i just found it lol
@@_The_Specter_ I'm pretty sure the clue is in the name "raxxla" so far I've connected it to Poseidon, and looking into related myths.
@@_The_Specter_ also, I had an encounter with the thargoids where because I didn't have any weapons drawn they didn't attack.
