I bought my one almost 4years ago when they came out it's been fantastic , it's quiet, handles dirt roads well , great economy, it fits a bed sideways across the back for camping, fitted AT tyres and took it into the outback and had a great time, now thinking about getting a 4x4 conversation done to it.

Nice review. And jealous. I am a repeat buyer of the Hi-Ace, but live in Japan ... which, unfortunately, has not yet allowed the new model to be sold in Japan. I use my slightly older model (about 4 years old) primarily for car-camping and fishing, so I am looking forward to when Japan Inc. allows Consumer-Japan the same things sold elsewhere.

Why is there not a 3 seat option? Or at least a center console? Poor interior design for a work vehicle Toyota which is a shame bc if these options were available I would have bought one.

The AC controls are disappointing. Those twisting dials always have problems with twisted cables. For this reason alone I will not be buying.

Having had the 2019 Transit Custom L340 for 10 months the new Hiac doesn't even come close to it. Still an over priced basic van.

Wait till you break down and try to get help from Ford. John Cadogan the automotive engineer explains well what you are about to experience. He also runs through their dual clutch disgusting abuse of their buyers and the fact that Ford just lost 4 billion dollars.

That cab train is a death trap is a fact and a lot of people still buying it and using its doesn't make it any less of a death trap.. they only buy it because of the Toyota reliability.
