      Dorran Robinson In 2016 Nissan Global announced ( newsroom.nissan-global.com/releases/160921-02-e )the Nissan Nv 300 which is a collaboration with Renault. In year 2019 Toyota introduces the new Hiace. Review the video below who is copying the other? th-cam.com/video/CpCEv5Sppmw/w-d-xo.html. Resale value for Toyotas is higher due to perception and availability of cheap spare parts worldwide. Resale value of the best European vehicle brands is lower due to expensive repair costs due to expensive spares. But for LCVs (light commercial vehicles) Nissan Vehicles retain their value due to reliability and cheap repair costs compared to Toyota LCV. Case in point is that I own a Nissan Urvan TD 27 LCV that is 35 years, mileage 547,000kms / 342K miles and in a day, it can still cover 1000kms / 625 miles without a sweat. A friend of mine owned a Toyota Hiace 2KD with a D4D Engine that he sold in 2018 due to high maintenance cost from replacement of diesel injectors, turbo and off road the car could not cope due to a rigid rear end or leaf spring setup resulting wheel lifted. But the car on tarmac, was better especially less body swings when cornering.

      Lane keep assist vibrated the steering wheel if you wonder out of your own lane. You can connect the vibrations to a metal rod and direct them to your balls so that when you leave your lane your balls vibrate. That's what I like to do.

    Solution to the V6 fuel consumption (specially if your in Victoria, New South Wales, SA). Convert it onto LPG!

    • @madhardcorenick
      @madhardcorenick 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And before someone calls me an idiot, I know LPG conversion isn't the best idea in everyone use case (especially if you're in a rural area or live somewhere like Queensland). However, many dealers are an authorized LPG installer, you will still make your money back on the conversion after 40,000-50,000km and, you won't have to deal with any diesel DFP issues and whatnot. The only issue is that Toyota might void your warranty for the conversion, should you have any problem with the engine (however if you're getting it done by the dealer, then I don't see any issue as the dealer should provide a warranty regardless).

    • @rsoul7282
      @rsoul7282 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not a chance, late model Transits are ok when they aren’t broken, but unfortunately that doesn’t remain the situation for long at all. They simply can’t take the abuse meted out to them by merciless drivers, whereas the HiAce can.

    • @zoltrix7779
      @zoltrix7779 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was better before this, but now I’d take the HiAce. Depending on how much load space you need, the Euro vans can be better the FWD layout allows significant more space in the rest, however it compromises the weight carrying ability. Most of the Euro vans also come in a real LWB version, this HiAce really is a SWB. Amazing there is no centre front seat on this. Also has two good features from the Transit Custom missing, the flip up roof racks and the heated seats.

      @@elscruffomcscruffy8371 I'm sure the new look is more attractive to international markets, but maybe the flat-nose would remain for the JDM at least as an option, since anything wider than 1.7M and longer than 4.7M is liable to higher taxes.
