Adding Cane to Furniture | $100 Furniture Flip CHALLENGE!

- One of my favorite hacks is adding cane to furniture! Taking out glass from cabinet doors and applying cane is a great way to massively update furniture. I'll show you how to add cane to furniture and take you through the steps.
This video is part of the $100 challenge hosted by @sabs rehabs ! The challenge is to flip a piece of furniture from start to finish for less than $100 (not including power tools). Everyone had their own take on the rules, but for this I only included the cost of the materials that i actually used (% of the products used).

Oh wow Clara! This cabinet turned out Beautiful! I love so much the combination the color you choose, paint wash top and the cane toke this piece to other level. Awesome job like you always do 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️

Yayy for free stuff!!! I am the same way when i do oopsies!!! I totally make lemons out of lemonade.. one of the biggest things ive learned is how to fix my mistakes (or mask them) haha!! I love the custom color and the white lines you covered the burn through with! I love the caining! Turned out fab!

One question, did you put a finish on the cane?
Hmmm... I've never used Power Wash but a little goes a loooooong way with Dawn. Also it kinda leaves behind a film that's tough to clean. I use Krud Kutter because it's a cleaner but also a deglosser, so it gets lots of the shine off. Just a suggestion!
That piece turned beautifully. It’s amazing what a talented person with good color sense can do with box store alleged furniture. The cane made the piece pop. One question; why did this challenge price in tools and not just consumables?

This is a really beautiful flip (I'm a sucker for anything with cane!) and you did a great job on making this project affordable for the difference it made, but your specific cost breakdown isn't really the realistic cost for this project, it can't be replicated at that price. You aren't able to buy things in individual portions like "50¢ of wood filler" and "$2 worth of clear coat", you have to buy a complete amount. The cost of the entire container as it's priced in the store more accurately determines what the actual cost was....
Totally. But that wasn’t the point. I had had most of those items for over a year so Actually the only thing I bought for this project was came.
