I started my furniture flipping journey by flipping vintage chairs. I was drawn to the ease of doing it -- all thats needed generally is to clean it, remove the old dust skirts, and stage it up nicely and list online. I've made a couple thousand dollars profit from flipping vintage chairs!
I think this trend started from ‪@JAMIEANDSARAH‬ and absolutely blew up with ‪@FurnitureFlippingTeacher‬ and I know I certainly had my own take on it as well!
My MOST popular video has over 50,000 views and it's all about a better way to flip vintage chairs! (Don't rip the skirt off!)

I am in love with those chairs! They are the perfect size for curling up on a rainy afternoon and reading or just watching the rain. I’m glad you’re keeping them. I think they are romantic and perfect for dipping your toe into maximalism.🌸

You’re still the queen of chair flipping! As much as I like meticulous restoration I still like to make money with minimal input. Get ‘‘em in clean ‘em up sell ‘em off make a buck ( or two or three hundred! ) is a great way to go. Thanks for that mini tool review on the Ryobi vac. I like their tools, even bought an electric chainsaw recently and love it. Keep up the great work!

Wow!! Good to know, Debra, thanks! I know that inside the pillows they are filled with down as well so I know these chairs are good quality.

@@KnowCanDo yes for sure ....The funny thing is this tapestry is identical to what my Nana bought back in 90s and "tapestry" is High end weaved upholstery and Very Expensive and Talk about heavy duty too🥰👍

@@KnowCanDo if I was a betting Woman i would Bet these chairs Was reupholstered Around Same time frame and the Frame is Probably Older than the tapestry hence the down feathers etc❣️

Those chairs are really beautiful and I'm glad that you are keeping them!!! Removing the skirts was a really good idea on these 2. The legs are much prettier than the skirts! Great job, Clara!

Chairs turned out amazing. Wondering if you threw out the skirts? My hoarder brain, says that fabric would patchwork together nicely to make toss pillow covers that coordinate with chairs. Me, im such a dumpster diver, everything scraps included has potential 😻

Thanks so much, Erica! I did indeed throw them out.... sorry!!!!! Love the spirit though -- thriftiness for the win!

In Ontario, Canada chairs do not sell. I purchased a couple of baby blue velvet mid century chairs and lost money. I'm so surprised because they sell new like crazy.

You may want to invest in a pair of needle gloves, because oh man, you never know what will be in those chairs.
