Arrogance is ignorance. This is what I run into every time someone opposes my testimony. People who have never read the Bible or studied theology that think their general knowledge is a good explanation for why God doesn't exist. Bro walked in like he was a theologian and had all the answers. I love him. The same way God loved me when I didn't want Him to love me and I overdosed twelve times trying to kill myself. All glory to God. Again you have outdone yourself brother 🙏🏿✌🏿💙💪🏿

People of all kinds please state if you are christian or muslim, atheists, agnostics or any combination of those and then if willing participate in the test. As well, looking for 5 good moral theist questions for atheists/agnostics.
#1 You see a child drowning in a shallow pool and notice a person just watching that is able to save the child with no risk to themselves but is not, is that persons non action moral?
#2 If you go to save the child, the man tells you to stop as he was told it was for the greater good, but he does not know what that is, do you continue to save the child?
#3 Is it an act of justice to punish innocent people for the crimes of others?
#4 If you were able to stop it and knew a person was about to grape a child would you stop it?
#5 Would you consider a parent who put their kids in a room with a poison fruit and told the kids not to eat it but then also put the best con artist in the room with the children knowing the con artist will get the kids to eat the fruit and the parent does nothing to stop it a good parent?

FACTS. WOW that guy was very disrespectful about his Atheistic views. I'm glad brother Frank Turek addresses Atheism and beliefs of other religions and worldviews on Cross Examined ministry. I was an atheist and agnostic from 17-19 years old until I discovered evidence of God's Existence and Christianity myself. Creation requires a Creator we human beings would call God. Atheists seem to think that God cares if we know that He exists or not obviously don't understand why the last book of The Bible is called Revelation because He finally reveals Himself to the whole world. Jesus The Christ of Nazareth (Yeshua H'Mashiac The Messiah in Hebrew) is The Son of The Living God came to save us from the Eternal consequences of our sins. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a 23 year old Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " On The Origin of Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

They ask a question and there is only one acceptable answer to them and that is that you just agree with them. Once they sense there is a different point of view or an objection to the premise of their question they cut you off.

You cannot out psychologize the Bible for God not to throw you into hell for all eternity. In other words, you cannot come up with a good enough excuse here and now, so you will not be able to on judgment day. If you say you did not want to be born, God is going to say you should’ve been born again, that means become a Christian so that’s not gonna work. And there are no other excuses try to think of one. So now you know for the first time in your life, that the Bible is smarter than you and it is a steel trap, smarter than all of mankind, What should you do then? So at least investigate and look to see that these things are true, because right now you just learned the Bible is smarter than you, and you will be accountable for your life on judgment day before God!
Prophecy, the Bible is 27% prophecy, that’s future history written in advance. God‘s really sticking his neck out to get it cut off if he’s wrong, but he hasn’t been wrong about the thousands of prophecies that were fulfilled, so he’ll be right about the end of the world prophecies as well and you’ll have no excuse on judgment day for not looking for truth!
Caveat: you cannot look for God in times of chaos says Isaiah 45:19, so you better do it now. In other words,You’ll be too worried about your own survival when chaos hits, than your eternal destiny!
Statistic probability of 40 writers writing the Bible with zero margin of deviation, proves God wrote the Bible through the 40 writers!
      God authored the Bible!
DNA does not auto encrypt, the code writer is outside of the code of the 3300000,000,000 lines of computer code in the human genome of our DNA! So who wrote the code to such sophistication?
1,000,000 seconds is 12 days, 1,000,000,000 seconds is 32 years! That’s the difference between 1 million and 1 billion!
One person’s DNA could fill the Grand Canyon up to 50 times full of books. John 21:25 “I suppose everything Jesus did, the world wouldn’t have enough room for the books telling of it.“ this verse would be fulfilled!

When Dr. Turek says things like “hold on nick hold on” I find it oddly respectful, because there’s a quote that says “never stop your enemy from making a mistake”, which is Machiavellian in nature. When Dr. Turek says to hold on, he’s trying to prevent the person from making a fool of themselves and being overly emotional and incoherent. He helps them to clarify their point, so as to help them facilitate an air of dignity. Dr. Turek doesn’t want to embarrass people or “gotcha” them. He truly believes what he is saying and is being as intellectually honest as I can tell. He always shows respect regardless of if a person’s mind has been changed, and doesn’t want the audience laughing at disagreers. True maturity and humility.

So the proofs this person gave at the beginning are just as valid as if a Muslim was up there giving proof about Allah. I very much doubt the speaker said why everyone else's proofs were wrong while his was right.
For the math problem he quickly blew through it and if everyone at the table came forward with evidence to show that their answer was correct then he wants to know why that person's claim is more valid than everyone else's. A better example would be for this math problem "4x = y" what is x and y? He wants to know why this person is the right one when everyone else can come up with their own answer to show they are right.

I didn't find Nick's question too tough at all. It's a pretty popular one among atheists. When Nick asked his question, the first thing I would've said was, "Why are you asking?" This gets them to look inward and think or at least put them on notice that I've already put it through a thought process. I've heard a LOT of Christians that don't. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to atheist radio talk show hosts like Tom Leykis or Ray Taliaferro on KGO and their ilk talking to Christians who go to battle "in their underwear." When someone asks me a question, I don't just jump to the answer. Sometimes I don't answer at all because in asking why they're asking their question, I'm sussing out their REAL reason for asking, which isn't an actual answer, but an attempt to stump me or whoever they're talking to, in which case, they don't deserve an answer because they really don't care...they're just trying to trip YOU up.

Cory brings up a very valid point, IMO. People who have never read the Bible or studiedtheology, think their general knowledge is a good explanation for why God does not exist. And young Nick, so passionate about arguing the non existence of God that he seemingly fails to consider the other side of the argument.
For myself, this was an education. I appreciate you. This is how we have conversation when speaking to NonB'rs.

What would be a wise use of certain people's time would be a concentrated effort a congress or Olympics of sorts where we diagram these differences of opinion, theology, philosophy, etc. Eventually, declaring a best argument which shows how each path gets where it is currently - completely removing FEELINGS or at least properly documenting sources for arguments or scientific claims/studies keeping in mind a need to maintain and update these things. I think this would be a fascinating project.

A Christian, a Muslim, a Hindu, and a Buddhist were seated at a table, facing north, south, east, and west respectively. When asked to identify the center of the table, the Christian pointed north, the Muslim south, the Hindu east, and the Buddhist west. Observing this, an atheist who had been watching from the sidelines concluded with a degree of certainty, "The center of the table does not exist!"

    • @odrap3884

    • @clarkegibson464
      @clarkegibson464 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Or, a different atheist would say, the centre of the table is the centre of the table and none of those around the table are looking in the right place.
The joke is flawed, if the words 'centre of the table' are replaced with god, as the joke implies, then the only logical conclusion made by the atheist (assuming he or she is rational) would be that each person has a different idea and the existance of god cannot be boiled down to a single idea based on their diverse cultural interpretations.
The centre of the table is there in the joke, and undeniable. The atheist would be able to see it. The joke is almost funny, but not written cleverly enough to work. The fact that god is not visible is what leads, amongst many other factors, to atheists not having the belief in god (s).
An atheist needs proof of existance, therefore the centre of the table provides that in this case. If the table was invisible, and claimed by those around it to be there (irrespectove of where they are pointing) I would want its existance proven by putting a glass on it.
If the glass falls, I will suspend my belief until such time as evidence is demonstrated.

    • @darkprinc979
      @darkprinc979 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

@@clarkegibson464 Actually, the more accurate scenario would involve the group arguing over how the table got there. The Christian would claim to know who built the table, and that he knows the builder personally. The Muslim would claim to know who built the table, but call the Christian a blasphemer because the builder of the table is far too important to talk to just anybody. I don't know much about Buddhism or Hinduism, but I suspect they would claim that there were many builders of the table. The atheist isn't even sitting at the table. He just stands there above the rest, mocking them for even claiming there was a builder to begin with. The atheist would claim that the table needs no builder, that its intricate design is simply a matter of many coincidences happening over a long period of time. The atheist claims that the existence of the table is not sufficient evidence to support the claim that there is a builder.

Yes Praise Jesus. Join the narrow road, might be narrow but not hard. I say this by my testimony. A born and bought up hindu, saw worst part of life. Was mentally ill and eventually physically ill and almost certain to die and no hope from doctors( they called me abnormal).
So started to search god, visited temples, recited prayers and atlast Jesus came to me and here I am alive and having life in abundance. No more mental or physical illness that too without pill(recovered in hardly 2-3 months after I met Jesus i.e and in the time when doctors had already declared me abnormal). I Praise him with my testimony.😊
So, way might be narrow, but not hard.Bcoz it is by his grace we are saved not by our works. And thus I can say confidently that there is God and that Jesus is God.😊

It is easy to believe when the person is Christian. Christians are not the only people with near death experiences, Who do Muslims or Hindus or any other religion see? Testimony exists. Who is on the other side of death? Dive in and research. Share what you find.

Thanks so much for this video. I appreciate all the answers that have been given but I feel that the main question that has been laid down hasn't been answered yet. And as a new born Christian I still struggle with answering this: how is it possible that all the people at the "table" that he talks about, are convinced about their own truth -and probably experience truth- and yet there is only one correct? I used to hold onto the pluralism theory and I want to open up to the idea of One truth but it still hurts me a bit to give this idea up. It seems more loving to give other faith believers respect in this way. Truth is often claimed by stating facts about Jesus. And although I believe them to be true and I choose this path, I think other believers will have accurate facts that prove their religion as well. Can you help me dig deeper into this question and into my Christian faith?

I tell them: Consider this, if I’m wrong, and you’re right, then , when we both die someday, we are just no more and that’s it. Nothing either one of us can do about it. But, if I’m right, and you’re wrong, then I get to live for eternity with my Lord and Savior with whom I love. And the best part of it all is, it’s free. You on the other hand will live in eternal damnation where their is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I go on to tell them that I, nor anyone else is forcing you to believe. It’s up to you, and you alone. So what do you care that I believe, and you don’t. If you’re convinced that you’re right, then let me be. Im doing nothing to you. Unless of course, you have doubt in what you’re saying, and are looking for answers.
