AMEN Daily Dose of Wisdom back at it with Frank Turek and Cross Examined ministry Apologetics 🙏 ❤️ 👊. This guy in the LGBTQIA plus community was using ad hominems and virtue signaling to make an unnecessary point. New Atheism heralded by Richard Dawkins, Matt Dillahunty, Aaron Ra and others has failed and Michael Shermer is speaking nonsense clinging to questions rather than seeking answers. I've been wanting to study Euclidean mathematics as I'm a 24 year old Christian Apologist working as a teacher and counselor so yeah I see unhealthy information being spread through secular and religious beliefs in families and people all of the time which is why I don't always attend church because I'm studying The Bible alone in DA ZONE 😂. I've been watching Christian Apologetics videos since 2020 so these channels are really helpful especially on TH-cam and social media. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

There is no being a Christian again. You either are or you aren't. A drop of water entering a bigger body of water can't extract itself, a Christian can't separate themselves from God. John 10:28, Hebrews 13:5. 1 John 2:19 tells us about those who left because they were never part of us to begin with. Too many people practice the religion of Christianity without understanding that the "life and life more abundantly" - John 10:10 - comes from a personal relationship with God the Father and has nothing to do with religion.

Hi Brandon, I have been reading about rational presuppositionalism (Cornelius Van Til) - antitheism presupposes theism, which I think is really at the heart of Dr. Turek’s work. In my own life, I feel as though my attempt to seek God through rational thought is sometimes at war with my faith in Christ. Do you think there is a danger in “leaning on our understanding”, or seeking God through logic and rational thought as opposed to reading/preaching scripture?

I’m doing a fairly specific thing on this channel that I believe God has called me to, but certainly, it’s only one small piece of the whole. People are in deep deep need of prayer, worship, Christian fellowship, Scripture reading & study, confession of sin, going into the prayer closet and seeking the face of God alone, and much more. So, yes! I wholeheartedly agree with your concern! If all someone ever did was watch TH-cam videos that would not be much of a spiritual life.

What nonsense about moral standards. There is no objective morality!
Morality is a subjective set of behavioural standards that allows us to live and work cooperatively in social groups. It is an evolved trait that let our ancestors work together in groups that enhanced our survival as a species. That's why moralities differ between groups and can change in a group over time. The social group decides collectively what is right or wrong and this has gradually been refined to our present laws, rules, and social norms. The same behaviour has been observed in other primates, Jane Goodall's work with chimpanzee for one example.
If we accepted an absolute biblical morality we'd still be stoning homosexual men to death and women who weren't virgins on their wedding night.

While I am a Christian and agree that morality can only come from God, I believe Frank misfired in his approach to Mav. Mav is right that evolutionary pressures do promote social cohesion in humans, as collaborative societies succeed more readily than isolated individuals. Thus, "pragmatic morality", as Brandon puts it. I am afraid that Frank's starting by questioning Matt, instead of offering a direct answer to his question with respect for Mav's reasonable point, interfered with the possibility of communicating effectively. The Socratic method requires two participants who can engage similarly.
I feel for Mav. He needs a conversation with a believer who first of all listens to 'their' understanding, validates 'their' position in the ways that it is reasonable, before confronting the illogical parts of it in order to address the confusion Mav clearly experiences without quite recognizing it.

It was considered “pragmatically moral” to kill off Jews in gas chambers at one point in our recent history. If evolution, as you put it, is supposed to put pressure on society to be more cohesive and collaborative, the said evolutionary forces could not have failed more terribly during that time. If pragmatic morality that is context- and era-dependent overrules any notion of objective morality, what gave those judges sitting at Nuremberg trial any right to condemn anything? What gives us any right to say that slavery in America was wrong, when it was very much pragmatic and normal to own slaves back then? One set of morality standards may be very wrong but very pragmatic to some people or some cultures (i.e. ancient civilizations who sacrificed their children to appease their false god). I believe Pragmatic morality is nothing more than a fancy name for subjective morality, a rather poorly-supported theory proposed by evolutionary social scientists to explain away their dilemma with God-given objective morality.

Im no expert in apologetics. But one response that I think could counter the “moral standard argument” with a true challenge is the argument of: “the human moral standard is dictated by self-preservation and social cooperation for progress”.
self preservation could be argued that morality could be measured from concept of: “well I dont want to be harmed, therefore if I harm others they will likely feel the same way about me harming them. So if i want to feel safe, I need to contribute to a society of safety by avoiding causing harm in hopes that they do the same for me. Then use the environment of social safety to collaborate with others to participate in helping people do well, in hopes that if I was struggling, or ever struggle in the future that others would do the same for me.
Therefore you could make a challenging argument that morality could have emerged from a motivator of self-preservation-survival that results in cooperative outcomes.
(Im Christian, but I find this impossible to argue against with my current knowledge for the “a moral standard for humanity could only exist from God” argument and would love to learn counters if there are any)

@kos-mos1127 you will find evidence when you ask deeper and harder questions. For example, why is evolution a thing? Why to organisms strive to survive? It would then go that life simply has a drive to exist. How do you explain the origin of that drive? Why did we choose to adapt as groups and come to develop "good" and "evil"? Why do we think life has rights? And why are humans greater than animals? Why is cognition different? Why did we adapt to be greater?
The answer comes back as something beyond humanity.
If you think, well it was all chance- where did chance come from? Does it not look suspiciously all too coincidental that everything just aligns so well? Evolution by natural selection _does_ occur based on survival of the fittest. However, that phrase is misused by Frank and others to mean the domination of brutalness. By contrast, the real meaning refers to inheritable traits that aid organisms to successfully reproduce within a given environment. Attributes like compassion, fairness and empathy absolutely do make sense within a world where those best adapted to an environment thrive.
Is Frank being intentionally dishonest or he is scientifically illiterate? That remains to be seen. Regardless of the reason for Frank and others spreading blatant misinformation, it is clear the objection used against natural morality falls apart.

First of all, you would have to prove that life came from non- life by naturalistic means and also that all life evolved from a Common ancestor. You presuppose that, but you cant prove it. Secondly, If evolution were true, you can't get Objective morals without an authority outside of human beings. It would only be subjective if only subjects were involved. What you consider good, others might disagree with you and consider it bad. For example, we say Homosexuality is immoral, but many Liberals say it's not. Who's right? How do we know? Because God says it's immoral. So therfore its objectively wrong. But if God didn't exist, it would be a stalemate. With two opposing views. You would have no standard to know who was right. If God exists (which he does), he can make rules and tell me what to do, but you cannot tell me what to do, because you are a human being like me, and if our brains are just chemicals, whose to say the chemical reactions in your brain is superior over my chemical reactions. Evolution did not put morals in us, our Creator did. And we are not just chemical reactions, we have a soul and a spirit that transcends our physical body. Without God nothing is objectively wrong.

Also, there is no evidence for an objective morality, as far as we can tell society is operating on a subjective morality. Also, the bible is not the only book on Morals. Before Christianity people have moral laws. Though many belief strong it was their God giving it to them. Society ends up with different morals. This chow it is subjective. It makes sense that all humans be given rights because you want to have rights Frank. I want to have rights and be able to live my life. As a result, I am for people having rights. Also, throughout history there have been many people who have 0 rights. Slaves no right, women little rights, poor no rights, and so on. Again, showing that human right is not grounded in your God. You can do better Frank.
Now to you Brandon, make sense. If you are going to use a quote, then understand the quote. The things in the world as expected to be like that if there is no God. People stealing, people being kind, and a mix of variety of things. If there is a god then there is no excuse for evil, especially if it is the Christian God. We are not trying to have a cake and eat it too or whatever the saying is. Through evolution humans developed the sense that we survive when our brothers and sisters survive. Human right is quite recent thing as I have pointed out. This is through evolution. Brandon I believe in you too, make some sense please.

is he really citing the Christian god as the moral standard that makes harming people objectively wrong?? the god who commands genocide and slavery multiple times? good lord, surely he can do better; and if he can't do better, surely he can admit that his god is trash at morality.

ATHEISM and RELIGIONS BRING and CAUSE the HUMILIATIONS, SUFFERINGS, and DEATHS of MANKIND
The Creator's existence and the lives, dignities, and existence of human beings
are obviously of no worth, value, and importance to
Atheists, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, SDAs, Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, Born Again Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and fanatics of all kinds of Religions
      who
are shameless, remorseless, and unbothered even if their Satanic arrogance, hatred, wickedness, cruelties, hypocrisies, lies, deceits, and false teachings about "hellfire", "afterlife", "Armageddon", "rapture", "Trinity", "immortality of the souls", and "reincarnation"
hurt, offend, insult, and degrade the lives and dignities of all human beings including that of their of own families and neighbors
and cause their humiliations, degradations, sufferings, griefs, sickness, and DEATHS.
The LIVES, DIGNITIES, and EXISTENCE of HUMAN BEINGS are of great WORTH, VALUE, and IMPORTANCE to the CREATOR
      The Creator
who is being dishonored and insulted by Atheists, Evolutionists, and Fanatics of Religions as worthless, useless, and undeserving to be honored and respected as the True and Sovereign God
      KNOWS
that he authorized and sent Jesus Christ from heaven to earth thousands of years ago to preach and teach the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" to imperfect, suffering, and dying human beings.
      The "KINGDOM of GOD"
is the Creator's Rulership through Jesus Christ that will stop and put an end to all the Satanic hatred, arrogance, cruelties, hypocrisies, wickedness, lies, deceits, and falsehoods of Satan's Atheism, Evolutionism, and Religious Fanaticism
      and
ensures planet Earth is safe, secure, and peaceful for all lowly, ordinary, kind, and respectful persons
      who
will definitely be honored and rewarded by the Creator with ETERNAL LIFE and existence on earth without sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and death.
      The "RESURRECTION of the DEAD"
is the Creator's guarantee that all lowly, ordinary, kind, and respectful persons on earth who died recently and thousands of years ago like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Job, Ruth, Naomi, King David, Daniel, Jesus Christ's Followers and disciples, and many others
      will
all be RESURRECTED back to life in the right and proper time so they can happily, abundantly, and peacefully live and exist on earth forever as subjects and citizens of the "KINGDOM of GOD"
and fully enjoy the eternal love, kindness, goodness, generosities, compassions, favors, and blessings of the Creator and his Christ for eternity
under the loving and kind rulership, guidance, and protection of Jesus Christ as the Creator's Chosen King and Ruler of the heavens and the earth.

The people God calls on to be destroyed were sinners and were committing incredibly evil acts. Burning babies for sacrifice and the like. God is all powerful and has a right to punish those that have gone against Him.
I know that doesn't sound like the loving God we Christians like to talk about. But the truth is that God's justice and power cause us to have a healthy fear and awe that brings about a right relationship with Him. Not only that but God's justice doesn't stop Him from still being incredibly loving! This is why the message of Jesus Christ is so important, He loved us so much that he offers Himself in the form of a man as the sacrifice to cover our sins. Why is this necessary? Because it is impossible for God to forgive and be just without someone taking the punishment.
God was always trying to bring the people of the world to Him, to trust in Him. That was what Israel was for! They are are called to be a nation of priests, to be the one that shows God outward so that others might see and trust in Him. Even Israel fails time and time again. God allows punishment from their sins, and then redeems them all throughout Exodus, Deuteronomy, Judges, 1-2 Samuel, 1-2 Kings, and more. If that isn't a patient and loving God who doesn't just get angry and outright kill everyone then I don't know what is.
In the end questioning God about how He dishes out justice isn't correct because you've immediately placed yourself above God. These questions are important and asking them is okay, but one must approach them in understanding who God is and who we are. God is holy, that is part of who he is. We are sinners, which separates us from a proper relationship to Him and means we are deserving of punishment.

There is a very fine line between heated debate and arguement and then a very fine line between argument and mudslinging. As soon as you step out of heated debate your credibility and trustworthyness is gone. The kid started good with a genuine question but he wasnt getting the answer he wanted. He wasnt prepared for a debate where there is a good possibility that youre proven wrong. He didnt go up to that mic to debate. He went up there to attack Frank and expected to Frank to sit there and "oh yeah thats right" and "i guess i never thought about it like that". When Frank started asking questions he couldnt answer he blew past heated debate and lost the whole structure of his case. It was clear he had nothing and so went into hyper-aggressive mode and was destroyed by Frank who stayed happily and calmly inside of logical debate.
