I'm doing one up for my son a.t.m but have stripped the stock gears so wanting to upgrade to all metal gearing and a stronger motor. I saw your vid on the 370motor with metal gear upgrade and i think i will go with that and the all metal driveline but for now will keep the standard diffs housing and suspension linkages. My question is do i need to upgrade the ESC at all to suit this motor? cheers.
You didn't say if you have a kit or rtr version. I'm not sure if the rtr rx/esc board can handle the motor. But if you have a kit version with a stand alone esc you should be good to go. I'm using a small 10a esc with the 370 motor. Some say a larger esc gives better throttle control but I haven't seen any issue with the 10a so I've been staying with it.
Excellent video mate.. and the gear ratio seems goods
haha love the sound man great work
