this guy is so honest and talks for almost everyone. He is perfect for what I'm buying and he is just really happy about every product and doesn't go into small things that some reviewers find big things. Keep up the greeeaaat work man
same i love the soft touch feel too I have the white pixel 3 xl and just ordered these earbuds so it'll match really well with the feel and the panda look XD
Thank you for discussing high frequency sound! I am part of the subsection that can hear it to the point that every set of Bluetooth earbuds I've ever listened from have shown it very evidently to me. It seems like there are so few resources on this, but I really hope the technology improves to the point that they eliminate this high frequency noise.
Apple screws Android Users over, while Google gives Apple users a good experience as well with full functionality! Says enough about both companies imo...
Your reviews are so in depth and so different from everyone else's borderline nitpicking reviews. It's gotten to the point where I only watch you, flossy Carter, and this is tech today's TH-cam channels for tech. Good job. You deserve more subscribers!
I discovered your channel in the past fortnight, trying to decide on a new phone, and your reviews are super comprehensive! Conversationally, you're so much more relatable than other review channels, and talk about the merits and cons of the product rather than focusing on the minute comparisons of hardware with other competitors which annoy me so much. Keep it up!
My buds have been issue-free now for a few weeks. Google seems to have resoklved the hiss and drop-out issues finally. I bought a Pixel phone a week ago, and that also improved my pixel bud experience markedly. Very happy. Loving the sound. Loving the comfort.
Great review overall but I did hear a false statement I have to mention. You said the Sony WF-1000XM didn't have volume control on the earbuds but in fact they do have this feature as of last November through a firmware update. I know because I have these earbuds. I also own the Pixel Buds and these are easily my favorite earbuds. We finally have great, well balanced earbuds that works seamless with Android 🙌 Keep up the great work 😎
Very good, comprehensive review. Touches on all the key points. I usually wear headphones on a long morning commute, and have to quickly switch trains. So, I care about comfort, battery life, and a secure fit of earbuds. These areas are all as important as sound quality and other features. Also, this is the first review that mentioned updating the firmware. Very helpful tip.
For me one of the most important things is that the case can fit in my jeans small pocket. They do that, decent microphone and a fairly good sound. I kind of wish it had ANC but for the price and size you can't have everything
I swear the case must be the hottest fidget toy on the market. Every reviewer has to say how satisfying the case is to open. That alone wants to make me buy it out of curiosity.
A little more hype than it should be, which I should have known with the high resale rate so quick after launch. I was only able to use 3 hours and 45 minutes which was just streaming media like Podcasts and TH-cam. I found that my ear didn't hurt using them. I placed one phone to test and it was clear and no lag or disconnects. For me, the sound seems to be lower on these than the Galaxy Buds+. I find that I need the volume increased almost to max to get normal sound. Since this is their first truly wireless earbuds, I expect there to be trials and errors.
I have three Bluetooth earbuds. 2 are wired, the Jaybird X2 and some Anker ones. My 3rd pair is a true wireless Redmi Airdots. I don't need more but non of these are that great and so I'm so tempted to pick these pixel buds up!
Hey, really loved the video. I just bought some of these from the Google store very excited to try them out. I have a question for you though, What wireless charging station do you recommend for the Pixel 3 xl and Pixel buds to get the full 10 w of charging on the phone? For that matter does that make a huge difference for charge time?
I loved my original pixel buds but hated the battery life and the string (also charging the old buds was a pain sometimes cause the buds didn't have a magnet to clip them so sometimes the buds weren't even charging) I ordered these buds and im excited lol
Great review. To the point and talks about unique aspects that the layman would need to know... Im gonna subscribe. So you don't get a charging brick in the case right? Makes me wonder if you should use the big bricks like one plus warp charge. I don't want to damage mine when they come.
How would you compare the stabilizer arc vs. the Galaxy buds? I love theirs. In my opinion that arc fin in Galaxy buds makes them THE MOST comfortable I have ever worn. I have a feeling that the arc tip in Google buds is not stiff enough. What do you think?
The Google Assistant integration is certainly one of the main selling points of these buds. Maybe Google will release a companion app for iOS at some point that would fix that. Everything else with them works on iOS.
Quick question, maybe someone who has the buds already would know or maybe in your 6 month review you could talk about this. I know that apps like Spotify have their own EQ settings; does the in-app EQ for music and media apps fix the bass in the buds? Or is it still lacking even with those settings cranked up?
im considering it tbh. i have the airpods pro’s but have constant issues with connectivity and battery life, and I honestly dont use noise cancelling enough to keep them. just waiting for the black pixel buds!
What a review man. I mean you haven’t left a single detail to talk about later. If this is not a detailed review I don’t know what is. Truly appreciate your efforts in writing such amazing script. Lots of love from India.👍
any problems with the blue tooth connection dropping out on one or both of the buds when outside? I want to love these ear buds, but for me they are almost un-usable outside because of connection drops. I have them paired with my pixel 3a, and usually have the phone in my front right pocket.
Thy are sadly only available in the US on the official google store. On the canadian google store you can enter the waitlist to get notofied, when they are available world-wide
@@jaysee2213 The nomad case? I only saw it available in black and brown on their website and it's sold out on the Google website. Did they make it in gray?
Can anyone answer this, weren't the pixel buds 2 suppose to have gps location support to be able to find them with the find my device app, same way the air pods pro have? I received my pixel buds and all I see is the ring to find option
im worried about the wingtip the galaxy buds wing tip gave me pain after some time i hope these wont seeing as the shape is more rounded and tubular and blunt on the end
Thanks Josh 🙂 These Pixel Buds 'Are' Very Nice, but Came a little late for me ! I first got Earbuds about 3 years ago, at a time when Earbuds were Not what they are Today. Great review! Comprehensive and honest, and non-pretentious. Can't wait for mine to come when they are back in stock!

Pushing the earbuds just enough into the ears is a great advice for reducing ear pain. Overall great review.

Great review, probably the best on this product so far
As a owner of the Sony WF1000XM3 earbuds. They have updated the software and added volume adjusting functionality.
You can't pump up the bass, but it does have a surprising amount of bass. They sound great.

I believe the hiss issue, connection issue, and new bass options has resolved most of the complaints.
I think EQ settings will come in the future with updates!

I love my pair of pixel buds! And I see what you mean by the hissing noise
It looks so good. Maybe I'm bias but round-shaped does look nice
