Funny how malls were accused of killing Main Street local businesses, and now 30 years later it's the malls that are endangered by online shopping. I'll always have fond memories of running around the mall with my friends as a preteen while my mom followed far back behind us, so we could pretend we didn't know her, lol.
I saw them in the mall in St.Cloud MN, my sister & I lived ½ hour away so we went to see them every weekend, I had a Jean jacket signed by them.

"Boys Club" was a pop duo consisting of Gene Hunt and Joe Pasquale from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was created and assembled by Don Hunter Powell. They had a big hit with "I Remember Holding You" in 1989.

Boy oh boy u r so right Bill! And I had almost forgotten this late '80s hidden gem, listening to it took me back! This song was on the charts end of 1988 into early '89 which was my junior year in HS! A little tidbit of info - Eugene Wolfgramm was the founder of Boys Club and his claim to fame had previously been as the founding and oldest member of the highly successful family band the Jets! The Jets rocked! My two favorites from them we're "You Got It All" and "Cross My Broken Heart"

The title didn't sound familiar but now as I listen, I'm singing along, remembering the words and riffs. Weird! I loved this. I think I had it on cassette.

I remember when I saw the Video for the first time. Reconizing Eugene Wolfgramm who was part of another group The Jets. I knew I was right all along.
This was the cut back then and I had no idea one of The Jets was in this group. This song was banging and got alot of airplay. Still don't understand how so many folks are 1 hit wonders. They need to start playing more of the albums and NOT just the hits.
