I love this era of Kylie, with darkness, sexiness, angst, etc. I love her later works, as well, but I also hope she does something similar to this era sometime soon.
This song came out my senior year of high school. I was obsessed with Kylie! I just found my first grey pube while showering this morning. Let that sink in.
One of the most raw and brilliant pieces of music I have ever discovered. I found this song by her when I was at my lowest point in life. I was on the verge of committing suicide. When I first clicked the video I had no idea what to expect, I had to fight through the tears and myself to get to the end of the video. Every word she said was a direct knife into an open wound I already had. If it was not for this song and the comfort I found in her dark and beautiful lyrics I probably would not be here. The video is an absolute masterpiece also, it tells the story of depression and multiple personality disorder. This can be heard in the song and seen in the video. Hence the title Confide in Me. Someone telling their emotions, secrets, and troubles which is why it says call now on the screen, so they can confide in her. I wish she would make more darkly melancholic music like this.
This is the most hypnotic song i've ever encountered. First heard it when i was like 9 years old and couldn't escape from it ever since. Now i'm 34 (shit) and still listening to it as a unique and timeless masterpiece.

One of her best songs . So underrated
27 years after buying this on CASSETTE TAPE I’m watching. I loved watching this when MTV had it on heavy rotation and it bridged the pop/dance scene. Fantastic and pretty timeless!
21 years ago, shiiittt!!, I was hypnotized by this at 14, major crush
+davidbowie1100 Christ, I used to deliver the papers with this on my Walkman, 21 years???
+david toohill Walkman? :D
Me too i was counting each build appearances. :)
Richard Philip SAME !

totally under rated tune.. just got that something to it that's hypnotic.. and let's not forget 90s Kylie breaking a million teenage hearts with utter longing.. :-)
Just searched this to show my daugther as I feel this is 1 of the many tracks of kylies that is amazing!
Well done Kylie on your Brit award you so deserve it huni love & light Salukx💖x
I'm a confirmed hardcore punk rocker but I have to admit this is art
I'm a Thrasher but this song is art.
I'm a gabber head and this is art.
Even pop music was better in the nineties. Yes, this is one of the rare cases where pop can be art! 💙
Dont stick in the same music lane you were in when you were a teenager
In RYM this single tagged as "Art Pop" so it's the one.
Why don't more people know about this? Amazing song.
Jake C cuz the world is fucked up. We need more Kylie and less Britney or Miley...
90s songs are the best, compared to 2000+++ im glad i was exposed to the 90s as a kid, these songs still stick to my memory
Does anyone listen to this top-class pop song in 2023?
Should have been used as Bond theme.
Yes indeed... the style of this song does correlate to the bonds
the most underestimated song in movie business
Gray Fox [ROU] she doesn't care of it. And it's her rule
Right
Gray Fox [ROU] Yea it does sound like one of thosr
Red blooded woman and this song are best song of kylie. This song like a bullet. Direct shot to brain
YES! My picks exactly!
Kylie "Confide in Me".
I love this era of Kylie, with darkness, sexiness, angst, etc. I love her later works, as well, but I also hope she does something similar to this era sometime soon.
dunno why i always felt this would make a great soundtrack for the old batman films. her best song by a mile though
A good song is a good song regardless of genre
Bruce Springsteen
Cuz it's very like "Hold me Kiss Me Thrill Me Kill Me". That's why Batman I think.
She also looks like Harley Quinn.
Neo She looks like catwoman in her black jumpsuit. Perhaps that made you think of Batman.
Listening in Tokyo. It's February 2024
Kylie is seriously hot in this video
I'm not really a Kylie fan, but this song is great. Can't believe it has so little views compared to some of her other songs.
Same here, but this song is top! Peace
Yeah plus the videos a trip. :)
+Ardanrath defo! Great trippy vid! Peace.
good music and the masses rarely mix.
Ardanrath Kylie has great trippy music... through the years, jump, take me with you, someday. I wish all these song had a video.
1994: touch the screen
2016: accomplished
This song came out my senior year of high school. I was obsessed with Kylie! I just found my first grey pube while showering this morning. Let that sink in.
It's just amazing that song with such colorful video is so dark and disturbing. The song and video are together a masterpiece.
I don't know you but i hope you're doing well!
@@threepwood368 thank you so much! I’m doing so much better! ❤️❤️❤️
How are you doing sister? I hope things are OK now. Bless u

More than 25 years since it was released and it still sounds fantastic!! It ages like fine wine!!
28 years
Ahead of its time
29 years and going! wow!
This is the most hypnotic song i've ever encountered. First heard it when i was like 9 years old and couldn't escape from it ever since. Now i'm 34 (shit) and still listening to it as a unique and timeless masterpiece.
From Russia with love! 👍💖
It took me fucking 32 years to discover this masterpiece... so different and unique compared to her other releases
I was Lucky then ... Loved it on release / Love it still 04/09/2020

Still listening to this in may 2024, 30 yrs after it was released! I was in high school! Oh how nostalgic!
Such a work of art this video, but I wonder, does anyone else sense the kind of creepy dark side to it?
Ponaru yes...
Yes
Ponaru That is so true,i felt that since the first time i watched it as a teen. This vídeo has the power to hold you until the end of it as it makes you wonder about the message of the song and kylie´s daring and super sexy attitude.
Ponaru cause Its a song of a psychopath
+Ponaru Yes but it's not in the song, but in the video for me
One of her bests songs ever!!
pop music not always was a garbage, songs like this prove it
There is and never will be a pop princess like her she is legendary
I think this song is a masterpiece..Kylie' s voice really makes an impression.
Yes, it's a masterpiece. Every movement or expression of Kylie is art. The song, the mood of the music and the video itself, with all the colors and the graphics, are also on point.
Am I mistaken, or were the women of the nineties (female artists) more enigmatic and beautiful than today's replaceable/interchangeable random "stars"? 😊
Masterpiece! This song stood the test of time and even though Kylie has bigger hits, this one is my favorite one by a mile after almost 30 years.
This song is number one hit for many Airlines Kylie is so beautiful and great vocal Only Nick Cave knew that
Probably her most underrated track. Eerie and portentous. The strings, underlying beat and that rising voice to "....a problem should be shared".
Definitely a timeless masterpiece and love the eastern elements in it. That’s what really draws u to the song. her best song for sure.
What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: th-cam.com/video/B_voJ8N3R1k/w-d-xo.html Very well done!
Eastern elements...?
