hello! this skirt looks great and is kind of exactly what i’m attempting to make i’m making it more of a belt that ties with added fabric scraps just because i am a beginner to sewing. do u have any tips of not getting completely frustrated and confused with the processes of sewing?
Hi! , well sewing is very forgiving. Always remember, its just thread and you can always use a seam ripper! And if you are at the point of crying while sitting at your machine, the best thing to do is walk away for a bit :) truly these are the best tips i could give a beginner! I do these same things myself when I get frustrated and annoyed at a project thats not going according to plan. And I have been sewing for about 29 years out for my 36 year age. It helps to clear the mind, to walk away. For most people sewing is meant as a hobby rather than a job, so give yourself the time you need for your projects and allow the sewing to just be fun :) thanks for watching and i hope your skirt comes out great dear! If it looks like it needs more fabric after you have completed it, its never too late to go back and alter it by adding more scraps and layers.
