I’ve heard bikes like this can have insane insurance rates... you have two. I’m jumping back into the “sports” from a (can’t believe I’m saying this out loud) vrod Screamin Eagle. I pay about $90.00 a month.. what can I expect?.. I’m 45 years old, never a single ticket my entire life... until tomorrow
lol.I've also got a 2013 zx14R...flashed.Piped.My H2 (2015)is flashed,piped and pc v'd.I bought an H2SE comfort seat,and fitted it to my H2.I haven't ridden my 14 for 3 years now.My H2 is a great all day rider.Wouldn't hesitate one bit taking her across country.But to each their own.Beautiful bikes there...your H2 is really stunning.Happy for ya.Ride safe! I'd have ta say my H2 is faster than my 14.It's quicker for sure.
The tests that I've seen/read from moto journalists say the H2 gets to 100 and 186mph quicker than the 14R. Not surprising. It's supercharged and makes power everywhere. I have owned four 14s (currently have a 2017) so I love the bike but I'm VERY interested in the H2 ST. I can't wait to see the riding reviews on it.
What ECU flash did you get on the ZX14 and was there a great power increase? I have the same year ZX14R but green one. Do you see any concerns with the bike being any less reliable than the stock flash as well?
Well to answer your first question, I got my ECU flashed by MonkeyMoto/North Texas Superbikes, they did a great job, there was a power increase, but every bike is different and of course depends on what other mods you have done. the bike definitely pulls harder then before. does flashing make a bike less reliable?? hmmm that one is not so easy to answer, as I've always said I'm not a mechanic, and I'm sure a lot of people will say NO it doesn't, but I'll say it depends on what you have done, what I mean is there are different types of flashes, for the most part my flash just removed the top end limiter, has my fans kick on a lil bit sooner then stock, and my secondaries open up sooner then before, and he made sure the air/fuel was right with my exhaust and for me and my bike I don't see why those changes would make it less reliable then stock, I have close to 10,000 miles and have had no issues. I would say shop around and get your ECU flashed by a pro.

Well, I haven't thrown my leg over one, so I can only comment on what I've read/videos I've seen, I think the bike looks great and from what I've read most riders love it, think Kawasaki has a great idea (smaller motors, big power with that charger). I think you made a good choice, you'll have to tell us how it rides, and long term use. stay safe bro.

john clark you dont buy either of these for gas mileage. That being said, its still nice to be able to a ride and not have to worry about filling up so often. I get almost 400kms on a full tank on my zx14r if im just cruising.
That's me convinced now. I cannot justify trading in my Gen 2 ZZR1400 for an H2. It would mean spending another 10,000 quid. May be better to look into getting a turbo fitted to my 14.
if both bikes are stock yes, (Gen2 14) look at their 1/4 mile times they are very close, and you can think of it as either the 14 can hold it's own against a super charged motorcycle or the H2 can hold it's own against a 1440 cc monster lol, but the H2 only needs to be flashed and given a full exhaust (only have a slip on my H2) and it will be no contest H2 on top, but I'm talking about my bikes, I have seen plenty of bikes with some work done that will leave my H2 in the dust! and don't forget it's mostly about the rider too!

Have them both, use the H2 for fun and zx14r for everything else! Love the zx14r

Got 2008 ZX14 special edition turbocharged and 2016 H2 flashed full pipe. Much much scarier the 14.

The 14 has a 5.8 gallon tank, at least my 2007 held that much.

The diff is like a cpl seconds for the h2.Saw some stuff that compared both..

I would hate to have my bikes in a storage unit. I’d also choose the H2 SX SE over H2 AND I’m never again making payments on a bike
