Yeah that stock seat is horrible. I rode my 14r to benson nc and man lol. For me, my stock seat on my 10r way more comfortable. 3-4hrs on my 10 isn’t bad at all. That 14 gave me hell in just an hr and it made that trip a living hell.

Hey man, can you explain more indepth about the ECU flash difference and what the performance feels like? I've heard several people say that it turns it into a different bike.
I can’t vouch for his flash but I did the Ivan’s tune on mine. Took harmonics out of it while riding. Made the throttle more consistent and smooth. Mainly in town driving or maintaining speed around turns. Intake sound is louder and took out the decel pop in the exhaust. And Ivan calls to make sure what you have as far as exhaust and intake filter. Gained a little mpg as well. Hope this helps any.
That's me convinced now. I cannot justify trading in my Gen 2 ZZR1400 for an H2. It would mean spending another 10,000 quid. May be better to look into getting a turbo fitted to my 14.
What did u use on your windscreen? I really like that....did u just use black and did u only spray the inside or did u do the inside and the outside of it? Very nice look.
Does the 12r Lack much Performance wise Compared to the 14r? Its Probably a little Lighter & as you said Does same 1/4 times, you can pick up a 12r @ Bargin Prices Compared to the 14r - The 12r seems Great Value for $$$ - Cheers 👍😉🇦🇺

Mine is stock with a pc3 & full Akro header/pipe: And dyno'd at 180+ to the ground. I am 'thinking' of getting a ZX-14r but not sure of the pros/cons of trading. Many YT videos show the 12r & 14r running head to head in terms of top speed & acceleration. What do you think? Is the extra power of the 14r diminished by the extra weight? Etc.?
I’ve heard bikes like this can have insane insurance rates... you have two. I’m jumping back into the “sports” from a (can’t believe I’m saying this out loud) vrod Screamin Eagle. I pay about $90.00 a month.. what can I expect?.. I’m 45 years old, never a single ticket my entire life... until tomorrow
It's the 2016 SE model, came all blacked out, one of the main reason's I got it. You can use some plasti-dip to use on yours, I have used on my wind screen and also on my car to black out the lettering on it.
That's not enough oil. You will soon join the main bearing journal spun crew. You need to top it off till the window is full. Look on TH-cam about the noise it makes and the owners don't know shit...kinda like you. Owners with 2012+ 10k miles, bought from new and tick, tick, tick.....gotta be like 20+ videos of the same noise. Spun bearings is common on zx14, top it off more, or join the club. You been warned.

I got 2008 ZX14 special edition turbocharged and 2016 H2 flashed and full exhaust. You know witch is faster? 14
Have them both, use the H2 for fun and zx14r for everything else! Love the zx14r

He did say that it keeps up with the H2. That says a lot about the power with the weight.
