Yes Kawasaki lost lot of money on selling the H2,now they got touring, street fighter. Their going retire the mighty ZX-14, I've waited over 10 years for ZX-15 with supercharger from the jet ski. Verry happy with my ZX-14 turbocharged for touring, looking on getting this for city blasting, nice full exhaust and BST Carbon fiber rims that's about 60 lbs lighter, then with these upgrades your at Ducati's V4R price range and personally better overall bike.

mark pulling May I ask you just one question , How about the Honda cbr 650r , if compare it to Kawasaki ninja 650 , Which one is the better one according to you ?!!!
Seriously considering trading in my 13 14R,and my H2(2015) for this.I don't need two bikes at all. This one sounds like it's got all the bases covered for LONG rides and power for carving.Being able to throw some bags on it,along with that accessory higher wider screen is very nice.Plus the pillion and the comfort seat on the website.Think I could go for this beastie.Excellent review...thank you from the USA.
@The Underground Man Supercharger add a lot of weight we are talking about 40kilos or 88 pound judging from h2's supercharger and add boost HP roughly 40-50HP even less because it less powerful engine. Ask yourself do you really need 230kilos or 500pounds 600cc bike with anything between 140HP to 160HP? What is the purpose of that and why not just get natural 1000cc which weight less with same amount of power or even more.
Second thoughts why don't Kawasaki make a Ninja 636 supercharged engine rather than making the already powerful fast Ninja 1000cc engine even more insanely powerful? Maybe it's just an arms race of power between the manufacturers?
Why would anyone want anything like 636 supercharged? Only people who still love 600cc class is the track guys who want the lightest and the most agile sport bike not necessary the most powerful. Adding supercharger will add huge weight to 636 about 40kilos or 88 pound, Jugding from h2's supercharger weight. Bya lso adding around 50-40HP boost. So what is the purpose of 636 which weights 230kilos or 500 pounds with roughly 185HP. It's not as powerful as zx10 nor it's lighter let not mention it won't be cheap as well. When you break it down supercharging 636 it's very dumb idea which has no pros and no one would buy such a thing. I can imagine adding supercharger on small cc touring for people who want the most gas economical bike while not losing on the power. Something like versys 650 supercharger could work on paper but still it needs to be very cheap to work. But not on 636.
1.) The ZX6R is a heavy bike. If one were to get an ABS version it’s heavier than a Non abs ZX10R and ABS doesn’t add that much weight. 2.) The ninja 1000 and ZX10r are two different motor philosophies. The ninja 1000 power plant focuses on low and mid range power. The common drawback to that power design is that you lose Top end. That isn’t the case with the design of the H2SX or Z H2.. now you can still have your low end while still hanging with the high HP Supersport liter bikes

Thanks for the content during this quarantine. Keep’em coming! Would you still get the 2020 Ninja 1000SX over this?
HI pipe,if i had unlimited money id def get one of these, but yes id most certainly get the ninja 1000sx over this as its my most wanted bike at the moment :)
mark pulling 🤣 purchasing motorcycles is definitely a worthy goal for wishing we had unlimited money (and same here)...I have 3 bikes I’d like to own at some point in my life: Honda CB650R (for daily use commuting), Ninja 1000SX (performance tourer for taking my wife on longer trips), and Z900 (my weekend hooligan bike, which If I had all the money would be the ZH2 instead lol)...sure the list will change at some point
If the front end was prettier and the exhaust didn't look like a dustbin I'd trade my Z1000SX for one. It would look better and more balanced with a smaller silencer on each side.
The Turbo would like the top end in this case even more but its reduced cause emissions etc. the throttle valves are only idk 75% open and if you dynojet this thing you can get between 230-250hp
Hi Mark, Usual high quality. Cracker! If you didn't lose your life riding this, you'd definitely lose your license. I know most bikes are pretty fast now including your Ninja 636 right up to all the manufacturers' top sports and naked bikes, all of them, but along with the S1000RR and Panigale V4S this H2 seems on a whole new level if your review is anything to go by. I am sure the supercharger adds another element of excitement but tbh I didn't think the engine sounded that refined at least at idle for a one litre in line 4. I think Suzuki makes some of the nicest sounding litre in line 4 cylinder bikes although I've never owned a GSXR 1000. My old CBR11100 Blackbird had a silky smooth engine with almost instant throttle response. You had to be constantly watching your speed as it was so easy to get well into triple figures. But I think this Ninja H2 supercharged is probably a little too much for temptation and probably too nutz for the road. The only place you could ride it properly to it's limits would be on a race track or on a German Autobahn. Thanks for making and posting.
Funny enough Mark, I actually like the bike color variation you have a LOT more, but it's a great looking bike either way. I'd buy one if I didn't have a. Indian Scout Bobber I'm doing payments on. I also want to wait a year and see what they adjust on the bike first I think.

Just watched it a second time. Here's some of the best quotes, "WOW"!, "I'm a supercharged fan boy", "that was highly entertaining", "that is flippin awesome!", and maybe the best one....."the power is there if you want it for insanity!". Well said mate!
Great review Mark. If i was on that bike i would be through as hedge, only joking hope you and your family and friends are all safe. In these difficult times. Cheers.
Thats one provocative proboscis! And, while I’ll never buy one, probably will never even ride one, I certainly appreciate Kawasaki’s efforts to produce one. Given the technology it’s well priced, but I do wonder about the cost of ownership. Guess if that’s a concern, it ain’t the bike to buy, eh?
The welds do appear a bit inconsistent in places. Obviously done by individuals not robots (I assume). As a welder, some of those tight areas needed to be welded would pose some difficulty as the steel is high strength steel with the frame being mig welded(metal inert gas). I'm not concerned with it as some others are. I'm fully confident they are strong welds with proper penetration. TIG welding would be much more attractive but a longer more expensive process that just isn't do-able for a mass produced vehicle.
I bought a Suzuki DR30S when they first came out - now that did have Crap Welding, particularly around the Headstock area,im surprised it didn't fall to bits.
Mark really enjoy your videos found u recently on u tube.... If u can will you review the benelli 502x I'm thinking of buying one but would like to have your thoughts on the bike... Safe journeys mark
Cheap looking with a iron frame. I could never buy a motorcycle with a bicycle frame for so much money. Kawasaki could have given it a frame like the Kawasaki ZX10r
Hi Mark, which do you prefer? The Kawasaki Zh2 or the Suzuki gsx s 1000f. I find i am watching all your excellent reviews during these C-19 times. Hope to see you out and about soon. Regards L.
Hi Leonard very easy choice the zh2 not that the Suzuki is lacking but if money was no object ,the power of the supercharger is amazing , looking at the sun wishing I could go out for a long ride ,oh well we'll have to wait all the best mark
I had the pleasure of sitting on the bike today. The seating position is comfortable compared to my zx 14. However, that seat is horrible. That seat is as hard as a brick.
A couple of questions.... in what gears is the cruise control available and what is the top speed with cruise control on? The Yamaha MT 10 only works in 4th 5th and 6th gears with a top speed of 100 mph.
Hi egg, very similar ,the bar position is different ,the sx has higher bars ,both have slight lean forward positions,i was surprised how comfy the zh2 is all the best mark
Hi Mark. Hope all is well. These are trying times to say the least. How about a long term review on 636. Does it still have enough power after riding this beast?
Thanks Mark for this review. Do you have an idea on how does it compare to a superduke R acceleration wise feel? or you haven't had the chance on riding the ktm?
hello mark! was gonna ask im coming from mt 07 and planning for an upgrade if you gonna pick between zh2 and suzuki gsxs 1000 gt which one would you choose?
Hi tough choice....if you plan some touring and a great all rounder get the Suzuki ...if you just want pure supercharged fun on sunny ☀️ days definitely get the Kawasaki!! Best wishes mark
Hi I love them all if money was no object then I'd have the zh2 for sheer entertainment value, but for everyday money I'd buy the speed triple rs with the arrows used model for about 10 k many thanks :)
Hi the zh2 feels heavier ,but not in a bad way ,just more planted, power wise the s1000r is awesome when you get the revs up a bit whereas the zh2 just explodes with arm wrenching power from as little as 4k,if money wasnt an issue id get the zh2,but considering you can get a good used s1000r for say £9k ,the bmw is probably better value ,tough choice all the best mark
very tough choice as both are amazing ,if its just for general riding fun and not too much touring then the zh2 all the way ,that supercharged engine is just incredible :)
good video, ty u say its riding position is very comfortable. u say its almost like a touring bike. im 190cm tall, do u think its comfortable for me too? how tall are you? ty
Hi im quite a bit shorter than you 1.7m,but the zh2 is quite a big bike ,tall in the seat so it should fit you fine at 1.9m ,and i found it very comfortable all the best mark
okay, thanks for the answer. when you skip to minute 16:40 in the video linked below (its a kawasaki z h2 video from an austrian motorcycle magazine in german) you can see the 190cm tall journalist sitting on this bike, just for those who are interested to see it, its the only video you can see that i guess. he says its comfortable for him.
Hi Tony ...very sure footed ...it's one of the heaviest super naked bikes but that makes it super stable on the road,I think the tuono is better on track .. I'd love this for the road 100% recommend it regards mark

This bike, despite it's subjective looks is clearly an absolute weapon on the road. What a beast.
yes its probably the most ive ever ridden on the road, especially that midrange when the supercharger kicks in ....great fun !! thanks mark
It looks a lot better for losing some of the standard H2's bulkiness
h2 bulkiness :D lol h2 is lighter then this shit
Tan Cakar yea because most of the bike is carbon fiber if I’m not mistaken this is more affordable and looks better
It just doesn’t seem right to see red on a Kawasaki 🤔🤔
At least the supercharger is bright red! I've owned may red kaws. '81,'82,'83 GPz 1100s, '83 GPz 305, '77 KZ1000, '92 Zephyr 750, '93 Ninja 500.

mark pulling 🤣 purchasing motorcycles is definitely a worthy goal for wishing we had unlimited money (and same here)...I have 3 bikes I’d like to own at some point in my life: Honda CB650R (for daily use commuting), Ninja 1000SX (performance tourer for taking my wife on longer trips), and Z900 (my weekend hooligan bike, which If I had all the money would be the ZH2 instead lol)...sure the list will change at some point
I hope the next zx10 gets an updated dash like this one.
If the front end was prettier and the exhaust didn't look like a dustbin I'd trade my Z1000SX for one. It would look better and more balanced with a smaller silencer on each side.
Best bike ever bro and is lovely looking all round #1 100%👌❤🤛
Why did you BLURED the Meter 😁😁😁 . Cool video Man you are Pro Rider and. I like the video
The Turbo would like the top end in this case even more but its reduced cause emissions etc. the throttle valves are only idk 75% open and if you dynojet this thing you can get between 230-250hp
Super charger not turbo
Crap roads and hedges obstructing the view... i guess that means your focus is fully on the ride experience. Nice review!
Hi Mark,
Usual high quality.
Thanks alex,no when youre riding the engine feels amazingly refined,i had a cbr1100 for about a year once ,great bike :)
@@markpulling12 2001 model year CBR 1100 XX, 2002 Ninja ZX-12R, and soon to be a 2020 ZH2 owner here. All great bikes in their own ways .
+mark pulling
Big fan of the channel and I respect your opinion. Which would you pick Yamaha MT-10 or Kawasaki ZH2? I'm having a hard time deciding 😁
Hi aaron zh2 but change the exhaust ! Incredible engine
Cheers mark
Perfect begginers bike!
haha lol
Goodness me? You meant kin ell probably..Surprised its sub 200. Excellent review
haha yes definitely meant that lol
“Cracking” bike 😂
Good review 👍
Funny enough Mark, I actually like the bike color variation you have a LOT more, but it's a great looking bike either way. I'd buy one if I didn't have a. Indian Scout Bobber I'm doing payments on. I also want to wait a year and see what they adjust on the bike first I think.
Hey Mark, love your videos, very informative. Just wondering if you knew how much it costs to do the D. A. S. Nowadays.
Around £1000 all in, give or take a few quid either way.
Mark... that thing was PULLING your arms off there matey ;)
haha lol :)
Nice review again Mark.
Thanks Johan :) great bike
No clunky quickshifter on the Ducati V-4 StreetFifgter , yes it arrived yesterday ,PHEnomanal bike
I need to try one of those !!
A touring version of this would be interesting
It does exist here you go

Hi Mark
I am aware of the sx h2 but I'm thinking something less sports with higher bars and bigger screen
@@morequestions8034 oh ok I get what you mean...best wishes
Just watched it a second time. Here's some of the best quotes, "WOW"!, "I'm a supercharged fan boy", "that was highly entertaining", "that is flippin awesome!", and maybe the best one....."the power is there if you want it for insanity!". Well said mate!
haha thanks steve :)
Great review Mark. If i was on that bike i would be through as hedge, only joking hope you and your family and friends are all safe. In these difficult times. Cheers.
thanks colin you too :)
Waiting for one of these to hit the showroom at my dealership :)
Thanks for the comment Walter regards mark
Great review. Awesome bike
I’d settle for its baby brother the Z900 to put in the garage next to the GSA, too much for the road but I’d like a play on one of these😆😳
I'm suprised with low quality chasis welding.
Typically Kawasaki and Suzuki, it will be ok...
Hard on your wrists because your short…..@6’5” I would like the bars forward more.
Thnx!!
Mark really enjoy your videos found u recently on u tube.... If u can will you review the benelli 502x I'm thinking of buying one but would like to have your thoughts on the bike... Safe journeys mark
Thanks Jason I'll have a look at the Benelli thanks Mark
Cheap looking with a iron frame. I could never buy a motorcycle with a bicycle frame for so much money. Kawasaki could have given it a frame like the Kawasaki ZX10r
Actually it's a high strength steel trellis frame.Looks are subjective I guess. Looks better in the green metallic in my opinion.
@@stevesmith6236 Exactly, steel, garbage.
@@oralperry858 Steel is stronger than Aluminium mate.
WAAAAAHH. I WANT ONE. BADLY! 😳 I’ll only use it to go to the shops, Boris. Honestly.....🤞
yep a 50 mile round trip to the shops lol
Hi Mark, which do you prefer? The Kawasaki Zh2 or the Suzuki gsx s 1000f.
I find i am watching all your excellent reviews during these C-19 times. Hope to see you out and about soon. Regards L.
Hi Leonard very easy choice the zh2 not that the Suzuki is lacking but if money was no object ,the power of the supercharger is amazing , looking at the sun wishing I could go out for a long ride ,oh well we'll have to wait all the best mark
@@markpulling12 My mind was 99% made up, the Z it is, thanks for that and see you out and about asap L.
Hello I have z h2 with small problem check engine light is blinking always ? Are you know what can be wrong? Thanks
Hi wilhelm....3-6 gear
125 mph max
Regards mark
Great review.
How is the seating position compared to the ninja 1000?
Hi egg, very similar ,the bar position is different ,the sx has higher bars ,both have slight lean forward positions,i was surprised how comfy the zh2 is all the best mark
nice video keep it up bro
Your a lucky man Mark 👍
Dream bike 😊
Great review as always. Be safe
lovely thanks andy :)
Hi Mark. Hope all is well. These are trying times to say the least. How about a long term review on 636. Does it still have enough power after riding this beast?
yes was thinking about doing a long term review on my 636,yes still great fun to ride, but just doesnt have the arm wrenching grunt of the zh2 !!
So where can you find the Aklapovic exhaust you are talking about?
Did you change your grandangle settings? It feels more distorted than usual.
no never touch any settings :)
Thanks Mark for this review. Do you have an idea on how does it compare to a superduke R acceleration wise feel? or you haven't had the chance on riding the ktm?
no sorry never ridden the superduke,id say it would be the same or slightly stronger having 185 rwhp
@@markpulling12 thanks and i hope to see you review one someday!
this review is hilarious, eye popping
Lovely roads, Mark, where was that?
Hi Philip wimborne cranborne in Dorset
Regards mark
hello mark! was gonna ask im coming from mt 07 and planning for an upgrade if you gonna pick between zh2 and suzuki gsxs 1000 gt which one would you choose?
Hi tough choice....if you plan some touring and a great all rounder get the Suzuki ...if you just want pure supercharged fun on sunny ☀️ days definitely get the Kawasaki!!
Best wishes mark
@Mark Pulling maybe I'll be gunning for suzuki thanks bro probably my last motorcycle purchase. Hoping I won't encounter the mt 07 ticking noise
Hi Mark, now that you have ridden all the super nakeds, which one/ones would you personally choose to buy if you were in the market for one?
Hi I love them all if money was no object then I'd have the zh2 for sheer entertainment value, but for everyday money I'd buy the speed triple rs with the arrows used model for about 10 k many thanks :)
I like the speed triple too. I currently ride a street triple
@@MsChrisep great bike ,I did about a thousand miles on one when they first came out :)
@9:56 You can expect a certain quality for 17 grand. :)
Wow. Just wow.
How would you compare this to the BMW s1000r?
Hi the zh2 feels heavier ,but not in a bad way ,just more planted, power wise the s1000r is awesome when you get the revs up a bit whereas the zh2 just explodes with arm wrenching power from as little as 4k,if money wasnt an issue id get the zh2,but considering you can get a good used s1000r for say £9k ,the bmw is probably better value ,tough choice all the best mark
If it was between this or a BMW S1000XR?
very tough choice as both are amazing ,if its just for general riding fun and not too much touring then the zh2 all the way ,that supercharged engine is just incredible :)
Thanks Mark.
good video, ty
u say its riding position is very comfortable. u say its almost like a touring bike. im 190cm tall, do u think its comfortable for me too? how tall are you?

Het Mark, how is cornering on this bike?
Hi Tony ...very sure footed ...it's one of the heaviest super naked bikes but that makes it super stable on the road,I think the tuono is better on track .. I'd love this for the road
100% recommend it regards mark
No lockdown in England?
yes ...but i managed to film this just before it came into place :)
Mark ! Is this bike as easy to ride as z900 ?
Hi yes it is :)
