In my case, I not only asked myself, I asked several physicians. My hair started thinning when I was 17 years old; it was especially thin at the temples but there were shedding seasons where overall it got very sparse. No doctor took me seriously, even when I brought in the excess hair from my drain one morning, as requested. Not one of them referred me to a dermatologist. Yes, I had multiple blood work ups, but my iron levels, etc., were always within normal range. Why wasn't I taken seriously; why wasn't I believed? Was it because back in the day only men's thinning hair was considered an important issue? Were they looking for signs of male pattern baldness, which presents differently, so they assumed I must be "hysterical?" Decades of thinning hair, feeling incredibly stressed, not knowing if one day my hair would stop growing back altogether. I discovered that dermatologists deal with hair loss; finally, I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia. I am currently on medication and taking supplements and using scalp treatments. Had I been properly diagnosed all those years ago, I might have been able to prevent more permanent hair loss and not felt so helpless and stressed over my hair's appearance.

Dr Berg please continue your wonderful work in educating your followers and the public in general. I have a master’s degree in nursing. I was a nurse practitioner and I taught nursing for 15 years. I wish I knew then what I know now. Due to your advice my blood glucose is now down to 5.7. My goal is to get off all my medications. I know it will take time and effort but I want to live. I want to keep all my limbs and my eyesight and my kidneys. I don’t want to die early of heart disease as my parents did. I’m doing keto and omad. I’m considering going to alternate day fasting and continuing keto. Thank you again. Btw, I enjoy your electrolyte powder and drink it daily with the addition of magnesium liquid in a large glass of water. ❤️

Excellent testimony. Thank you for sharing love.
At age 61, I am also taking aggressive actions to avoid the numerous medication’s that my parents take daily.
I am now eliminating most of the
      sugar,
      CARBS,
      bad fats,
processed foods, and poisoned meats with hormones, antibiotics, and steroids.
I am getting a lot more water, sleep, and even exercise two times a day
(cardio in the morning, and weights and calisthenics in the evening.)
For the first time, I am getting a daily supply of healing foods such as berries, apples, oranges, bananas, carrots, a variety of nuts, dark green leafy veggies, juicing, and even fatty fish like salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardines three or four times a week.

Dr. Berg your videos are amazing! I started losing my hair 8 months ago, partly due to stress, but also hormonal imbalance, PCOS, Thyroid, etc... Some of your suggestions were stinging nettle and DIM, so I've been taking it everyday and now my hair has started to grow back. (I'm also taking your hair formula). On a different subject, do you have any video's about Seborrheic Dermatitis (cradle cap) what causes it and how to get rid of it? I've had this problem all my life.

Nobody ever considers covering such subjects in people on birth control that inhibits estrogen, people essentially in a permanent state of "menopause" just because of higher progesterone levels instead of actual menopause. It makes it difficult to find these factors discussed here when one is in an "alternative hormonal condition" to the majority of people.

Dr. Berg, my daughter has EDS type 3 and she's married to a Marine and living at Camp Lejeune since June. They have a water filter on there kitchen sink but it not adequate enough to clear out the toxins it needs to. I just bought her another one which is the aquasana 4 because it does filter out the pfoas ECT, it does the reverse osmosis. But she showers in this water. She has thick hair, but she's had some hair loss and her face has a lot of blemishes all over. Any suggestions?

I suggest detoxing. Activated charcoal is good. So is dandelion or any liver cleanse. Any healthy fats like flaxseed oil and coconut oil help the skin and hair, silica is great too for skin and connective tissue. Best of luck ☺️

Hi Dr. Berg. My bloodwork showed all low hormones. Dr. Reccommended a testosterone pellet every 3 mon. He said testosterone would regulate my hormones and thyroid. Does this sound reasonable to you? I hsve had chronic diffuse hairloss for years. Thank you Marie

I seem to have many of these issue but not sure which one. How do I figure this out? I've been losing my hair since my son was born, now I'm in menopause but have no issues with that physically. I do IF and try to stick to Keto on a whole included with IF. I am 53 now and my hair is so thin. I don't do any soy. What should I test for? Or what should I take to help maybe the throid, maybe high estrogens or could be high testosterone. What is ur suggestion?

@Denise Galiano, I have the same questions. I am confused on listening which of these might be my problem. Hair on my crown has been thinning since I was 27 (now 49). I can't hide it anymore with comb-overs. I have been on Keto for years now. I don't touch soy. My T3 was slightly low on a recent blood test but my doctor said don't worry about it. I take loads of high quality supplements. My nails have always grown easily and thickly. My skin is okay (slightly dry). I don't know, from this video, what to chase down.

I too have been losing hair with each pregnancy and I became menopausal at age 43 . I am now 63 and have been to many many doctors and specialists without any solution to my problem. I've tried vitamins , regular scalp treatments and dietary plans without success. Every time I look in the mirror I feel depressed and yearn for the long thick hair I had growing up. My hair loss started at 30 after my first pregnancy and has continued ever since . I'm going to try the vitamins recommended by Dr Berg and we'll see ! Hoping this will work !

Thank goodness. I am a woman and I have been going from doctor to doctor for years and years regarding hair loss, but it always got brushed off ( excuse the pun) as low iron. It was up to me to do my own research and I finally figured out it was high DHT, but still no clue how to address this. Thanks Dr Berg. I don't know which of these links deal specifically with how to lower DHT?

folliculitis, put aloe vera on your scalp leave from 30 mins to 2 hours, sometimes i spend all day with it (when i'm staying home), do it every week, once to twice a week is enough for me. don't forget to remove the yellow thing from aloe cause you'll get itchy from it it's toxic

here's several things for ways to treat hair loss
Make sure you take sufficient vitamins (A,B6,B12,C, folic acid and biotin all help your hair)
Apply rosemary essential oil and jojoba oil
Don't brush your hair too much
Don't wear tight hats or caps
(I learned these and why they work from Fearons Loss Fixer site )

    • @wednesdayschild3627
      @wednesdayschild3627 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I read hats actually help hair growth. Also a certain amount of brushing is really good for hair. The correct brush is boar bristle brush.
