Great ball and great review guys. Tried it after your last review and it did not disapppoint. Been a ProV1 guy for a long time but these are 10 to 20 bucks cheaper in aus than the ProV1 and even more when on special and just as good. Great spin and surprisingly long off driver. Now still using them 2 years down the track. Cheers.
Great review. I am glad someone is giving Pro V 1 a run for their money. Spending $54 a dozen in the US is ridiculous and they keep going up every year with all the hype!
I've gamed the new Triad's the past few rounds. I normally play Srizon Z-Star, which I love. The Triad is every bit the quality of the Srixon, and I love them both. I can occasionally find the Srixons for a deal, but the price point of the Tristar may just make it my go-to from now on. Awesome quality, feel & durability. Goes super long. Lots of spin off the scoring clubs & greenside, and super long off the tee. Nothing not to love about the Wilson.
beltin ball...got fitted for the bridgestone BXS.....tried the wilson triad on the off chance they are in the bag very competative against the top brands......love um.....😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I like using other balls but the problem is I lose my fair share one thing you can guaranty is you’ll find replacement pro v1s will you find enough Wilson triads
Play Wilson irons, and occasionally find Wilson balls, the triad and staff balls on my shopping list but I have 4-5 dozen new balls to use and lose first. TP5’s, Vice and Kirkland’s. Still finding plenty of Titleist/taylor made/callaways as well before I need to buy
Going to have to try these. Interesting take on the "balancing" technology. I know a few years ago Callaway got ripped in a review of their Chrome Soft model with the center material being all over the place with relation to the cover material. I know they've since improved their manufacturing process to eliminate that.
Best ball out there imho and I have tested a lot of golf balls! This is the ball I game and plan on doing so as long as they peform at their current level.
Just shot my first round this year with the new Triad yesterday. The ball was going long, not sure how much was due to the ball and how much was the swing adjustment I just made. Definitely loved them though and they also have personalized versions available.
No James! I really hope (sorry) few people from Sweden are looking at this video. The last year or so I have been able to make superb deals on Wilson triad / Wilson Staff model balls on the second hand market as it feel like no one here knows about them. Paying sometime as low as 3 gbp for a 15-20 balls in great condition. I really love these balls
The more I watch these ball reviews on this channel and others I am of the opinion that modern golf balls are very close in performance and whilst generally expensive they are amazing. I have tried Seed and Tour Response and there prices represent great value without loss of performance. I will try these as they sound amazing. We have never been so well served by ball manufacturers.
@@richardostins6678 I bought them a while ago from NordicaGolf and that deal is no longer available. Wilson are pretty good at online deals so keep an eye open. For instance, I know that the new Staff ball is on a 3 for 2 at the moment at places like Clubhouse Golf where you get the Staff ball for £30 per dozen rather than usual £45 and this is a better ball than the Triad but the same price with this deal.
I play the triad. They play well. My only complaint with them is that they don’t see to do well on windy days. They seem to balloon into the wind and I find I lose quite a bit of distance compared to the prov1
Are these balls ok for someone with a slow swing speed? I average 80-85mph swing speed and use titliest velocity balls atm but would like softer ones which will be great for distance?
Gonna have to drop some hints to my better half, kids and grandkids this year for birthday suggestions. Lol. Bet i get at least 5 dozen of them. I'll lose them by July.😊
One of the greatest balls for those seeking extra length was the 'ultra' I'm not 100% sure but it could of been made by Wilson in the late 80s and 90s. It was like a rock
Love Wilson but are they as durable as a Prov1. I use the Prov1x and get 36 holes out of them. I don’t pay for prov1xs though. Trade in pin shot winning cheaper balls
The cost of golf isn’t just materials used. Titleist put a lot money into testing and quality control as off center cores cause massive problems in stable ball flight. Callaway had major problems for years because they didn’t invest in quality control
The staff balls really are good. But they are priced almost the same as a pro v. Which begs the question.. how are they going to pull business away from titleist if there is t a price difference?
And they sell them at Walmart for just over 30 bucks a box.. I want to try them out I been playing the briggstone tour b rx and love them .. I don’t like the Pro V1
I've been using Triad's for the last year, like them but good lord I HATE the alignment aid. If its really sunny out you can barely see it. I go through the whole box with a sharpie.
Always play my best golf with Wilson balls. Every now and then I get distracted but always come back. Ever since the Dx2
Great to see Wilson upping their game! A brand golf needs :)

One of the Best balls of All time was the Wilson
FG Tour ball!
Looking forward to try the new Triad. Great video!!
Been playing these for sometime now fantastic golf ball for feel, distance, and price point
Tried one yesterday, was a revelation, as good as pro v1 and very durable
I tried them for the first time about 2 weeks ago and really liked them! I will buy again! Makes me want to try the Wilson Tour ball.
Been telling my buddies for the last year! Glad you did the testing.
I love Wilson triads. I’ve been using them for 2-3 months now
Tried them, loved them, playing them. Glad you guys gave them a look.
Started using these last year and the triads to me. Felt every bit as good as pro-v ones! Plus they were close to $20 cheaper!
I've gamed the new Triad's the past few rounds. I normally play Srizon Z-Star, which I love. The Triad is every bit the quality of the Srixon, and I love them both. I still have some in my bag from last year. And they are the only ball I will play now. I’m looking forward to grabbing some boxes of 2024s though.
beltin ball...got fitted for the bridgestone BXS.....tried the wilson triad on the off chance they are in the bag very competative against the top brands......love um.....😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
You guy’s smash it with golf ball reviews
I like using other balls but the problem is I lose my fair share one thing you can guaranty is you’ll find replacement pro v1s will you find enough Wilson triads
Great banter you 3, love watching your productions.
I absolutely Love the Triad golf ball. Thats all I use now. And I used the NEW version of the TP5X prior to the Triad
Did I win a round of golf with @James_Robinson-golf-9?
James....Spalding does make a budget 3 piece golf ball. Found at 'Play it again sports' in the US. 15 usd on Amazon...it isn't too bad actually
I play the triad over any ball, but you need to try the new wilson staff model and staff model x golf balls you will not be disappointed...
I just bought a dz last weekend. Liked them well enough. Used to use their titanium staff balls back in the day. Put them right there with the Maxfli

I use the Wilson duo and find them great might have to try these
I grew up playing Wilson woods....and I mean wooden driver, 3 and 5. They have always made very good clubs and balls. Very Underrated
@$29.99 on amazon per dozen, it's a no brainer. I've been playing this ball for months and it's as close to Prov1 as anything. Simply phenomenal.
I play this ball and love it. Been comparing it to the Maxfli tour-S and feel and play the same to me.about the same price in the US

have tried a couple times, and have moved them to my top 5 balls. still like Titleist, Callaway, Wilson, Srixon, TaylorMade.
i use the triad great ball and very good price ,wilson are a very good golf brand
Thank you. Just order 2x12 to try. Do they sound good
We still don’t have a new version here in the states. Just the ‘22 versions.
I've been playing triads for over a year. Very good ball.
Great review. I am going to buy a box of Wilson Triad golf balls.
I’m a fan of the Triad. Thanks guys!
I like Triads. Only gripe I have with them is they're a little hot off the face when putting compared to the TP5x I use.
I use these, best balls on the market for my game. Fantastic pice, unbeatable performance.
Always liked using Wilson balls, picked up a handful from a bucket in a charity shop, 25p each, looked like they were hit once.

These are great feeling balls. I bought them in a 3 for 2 deal and they averaged out at just under £22 per dozen which was phenomenal value
Where was the 3 for 2 deal?
@@richardostins6678 I bought them a while ago from NordicaGolf and that deal is no longer available. Wilson are pretty good at online deals so keep an eye open. I use Q-Star Tour. I bought some of these to try. Looking forward to it.
I play the triad. They play well. My only complaint with them is that they don’t see to do well on windy days. They seem to balloon into the wind and I find I lose quite a bit of distance compared to the prov1
Chris mocking the "delightful" is A+
Great review as always, I would be keen to see a review of the Wilson Staff Model and Model X ball.
I bought the staffs when they were buy 2 get 1 free. I love them. Got to try the Triads
I love them - Just received my order for 4 dozen
I remember you testing the last range of these, and you were singing their praises then. Wilson are on their way back!!
“Did you shooo me away?” “Check yourself” 😂
I have try pro v1 and used Wilson ultra.i like Bridgestone is soft and tavel long distance
Does anyone else’s description talk about Vice golf balls?
Need to try the new Vice balls!
Rotate between Triad, Tour Response, and Q-Star. The “tour value” balls are very good!
Great ball ! Just like the pro v !
Tried them, my vice pro plus outperforms it. HUGE difference from other Wilsons i must add!
Actually Wilson is the top basketball. NCAA and high school use them and they’re awesome.
Wilson Staff doesn't show a 2024 Triad golf ball. I see the same 2022 ball and it's on sale. Has the ball changed from the 2022 model?
Are these balls ok for someone with a slow swing speed? I average 80-85mph swing speed and use titliest velocity balls atm but would like softer ones which will be great for distance?
Probably extremely well. Your swing speed matches the compression rating better than most premium balls
Try Wilson Duo Soft great balls for your swing speed
@@tel8981 thanks will do 👍
Yes, they are!
Gonna have to drop some hints to my better half, kids and grandkids this year for birthday suggestions. Lol. Bet i get at least 5 dozen of them. I'll lose them by July.😊
Try the triad r sometime, they stop on a dime but get grubby quickly (the dishwasher sorts that out pretty much 😂)
I switched over and love it
I just bought these on the back of your shoot... let you know how i get on when they get delivered!! keep up the great content 👌
How'd you get on?
@@moyhennabuchanan1076 Love them, the price certainly helps to. Looking forward to next season now, back off 8 again!
One of the greatest balls for those seeking extra length was the 'ultra' I'm not 100% sure but it could of been made by Wilson in the late 80s and 90s. It was like a rock
“Today we’re talking balls”. No change there. 😂
Can you test out the MacGregor macspd irons? Super curious about them
Love Wilson but are they as durable as a Prov1. I use the Prov1x and get 36 holes out of them. I don’t pay for prov1xs though. Trade in pin shot winning cheaper balls
I like the Triads.
I’m playing the 2024 Wilson Staff ball! They have a new Staff and Staff x. How does the Triad compare?
Every bit as good for $15/doz less. I'd recommend giving them a shot.
Wilson is making a huge comeback I use there balls and Kirkland and has Wilson irons
Yes this is the best golf ball for 2024 without a doubt!!!!!!!
Great ball and $20 less expensive than ProV1 & X.
I have been using this ball since you first reviewed them. my biggest fear is if they stop making them.
Wilson has been doing great work lately
Saving$ lets me play more often herein the usa
MOI in a ball is done by pushing the weight out to the perimeter. How much of a difference that makes, im not sure.
Superd ball I highly recommend
The song is living in a box from the group living in a box from the album living in a box
The cost of golf isn’t just materials used. Titleist put a lot money into testing and quality control as off center cores cause massive problems in stable ball flight. Callaway had major problems for years because they didn’t invest in quality control
I use the duo soft a great ball from Wilson
I have not but I plan to. I like what they have done.
The new staff balls are great too!
The staff balls really are good. But they are priced almost the same as a pro v. Which begs the question.. how are they going to pull business away from titleist if there is t a price difference?
This is good nice game with exercise ❤enjoy have fun guys
Can we get a dry ball comparison vs ProV1 to look at distance and dispersion differences?
It really is a great ball!!
And they sell them at Walmart for just over 30 bucks a box.. I want to try them out I been playing the briggstone tour b rx and love them .. I don’t like the Pro V1
The staff model lads cracking ball
Your description, it's got "Vice" all over it. Might need an Edit
I've been using Triad's for the last year, like them but good lord I HATE the alignment aid. If its really sunny out you can barely see it. I go through the whole box with a sharpie.
How's it compared to the Tour Response? I thought that was your favorite ball.
Prefer the new shield on the staff model balls with no WS…. Cleaner look
Duo Urethanes were a great ball from Wilson.
Need to try hoselrocket balls out
Approved by every stranded island castaway ever.
The new staff model x is outstanding
Wilson is actually now the official basketball of the nba.
What's in the box between bags
Wilson does a buy 3 get one free as well.
