    Yet, another, great product from one of the most underrated, best value, golf equipment manufacturers there is. Great review boys.

    Watch the price increase now! Just like the wedges! Wilson have always made good equipment. Harrington still uses Wilson irons.

      Finally got invoice through from Amazon Australia. (Live in New zealand)Have to take in current exchange rate but has equated to 77 pence a ball so over the moon. For a very average golfer like me thats brilliant

    I've picked up Wilson Duo, have really liked this ball. I feel it compares with Callaway Chrome Soft, Brigdestone e6, Srixon z, and even TP5's.

    I have found 6-7 off these and put them into my shag bag. But i might put them in the bag. If they are close to a AD333 ill take it 👍

    I went through a process of trying a sleeve of 3 from several brands and went out on the course. Friends thought it was an expensive process to do it but long term, not loosing them and becoming more consistent will pay off. I am off 11 and it makes a difference with confidence knowing you have one that suits your game best. Final result, TP5 X for me

    • @jameslaughter5183
      @jameslaughter5183 ปีที่แล้ว

      All premium balls perform the same with minor designed performance differences. I like the TP5 best for green side spin control but mostly for feel. I don't agree with your friends; it is not an expensive process as you are going to play with a ball anyway you might want to tune your game at the same time. In life little things matter all the time, especially in golf.

    I find lots of golf balls. I have probably tried all the nomal ones with mixed results as you would expect. For winter golf here in the uk it doesnt matter too much about spin as the greens are soft so the ball stops anyway. I think for me its about the softness off the irons and putter so.prefer the urethane variety. Summer golf its TM Tp5 for me. I will give the Wilson Proline a go in the winter, for the price point it looks like it makes sense.

    I bought a £12 UV light and have never bought a ball since. Whenever I play golf late afternoon or evening I finish and walk a couple of holes at dusk. I have 100's of balls now and can hopefully play next season with premium brands like the pro V1 from now on for FREE.

    Hi James these Wilson balls in Canada are 38.72 for a pack of 36. Which comes out to 1.22 a ball. Great video you and Chris.

    These Wilson Profile go,f balls remind me of the old Wilson Blue Ridge golf ball. They were as hard as a Topflight but cheaper. If you lost 1 it wasn’t a concern.

  • @mikeb3835
    @mikeb3835 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've been buying cheap Top Flite Gamer golf balls, they perform decently, but I have noticed they shred pretty easily when using the wedges, so I may have to give the Wilson's a shot.

    After this endless always other club's every round in the bag I'm back here because : the GOAT of natural ball striking had to speak about sportingly goods. And i watched a nice video James! Iike Chris and his relaxed way doing golf sport... But i missed Marcel? Wherever he normally is, there are emotions and fun. I Iike this guy and he would be a good partner for a scramble on your channel. Cheers and have fun!

  • @jameslaughter5183
    @jameslaughter5183 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good Wilson ball but the Kirkland is an absolutely great ball with lower spin and distance off the driver and 900 rpm spin more and short stopping distance off the 7 iron. If you don't have a Costco membership and are new to The Game, the Wilson Profile is a bargain. If you want performance of a Pro V1 at a bargain, you will not get it from the Wilson Profile. For little cost more the Kirkland Signature will perform as well as a Pro v1 but probably at a very slight loss in consistency.

    I’m using the duo softs. Clubhouse golf are doing 36 for £40.50 so it’s a harder choice.

  • @scottdean27
    @scottdean27 ปีที่แล้ว

    How’s the durability. I rarely lose a ball and sometimes play the same ball for 72 or 90 holes or until they get a slight flaw in the cover from say a sand shot or the ball having landed in a sandy area near a trap of something. I like durable golf balls that don’t scuff up too quickly or get the cover “shaved” by my irons or wedges.

    I look for 3 piece balls that are softer and feel like they have a grabby cover. There are several brands and models out there under $30USD that qualify.
    After that, it becomes a matter of how they perform and feel. That leaves me at least three balls that I will play any time.

  • @boydgrandy5769
    @boydgrandy5769 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow. That is $12.00 USD per dozen, or 78 p per ball or 9 pounds 33 p per dozen.
    In the US, Pro V1X balls are $55.00 (plus sales tax) per dozen. Wilson, you've done it again. I'm going to go find some of these for sure.

    I do appreciate and enjoy the content. Haven’t played the ball but I do share your appreciation for the Kirklands as they are my gamer. If this ball was always available at the price you paid, not just on Amazon day, you may have an argument. Until then I feel like the Kirkland comfortably holds that spot.

    • @wizzardoffuzz
      @wizzardoffuzz ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’d imagine this video has pushed the price up a bit tbh. Amazon prices are very volatile and TH-cam has a big effect on them. Give it a few months and have another look.

  • @davewatts7444

    Seeing as we are talking balls here's my say: I'm 74 and my best golfing days are behind me. So take the last 4 rounds, I have developed a case of the shanks and at our course you get the opportunity to put your ball in water on 15 of the 18 holes! So last four rounds 9 balls in Davy Jones locker. So premium balls, £45 never to be seen again. Now with these I get a top flite price on a decent ball, no brainer 😂

    Why do Europeans carry their clubs. Here in Australia it’s a rarity. We have walking electric or push buggies. But I suppose here in Brisbane our winter is the height of your summer. You would be knackered in 30° +c heat.
