Hey, you should take your wife to Dani's Pizza. They have a sweet sauce and you said she likes it sweet. Also, New Park Pizza in Howard Beach is really good. Also, thanks for the Vipizza recommendation. Never went and its really close so will definitely try it out :)
@@DhruvAmin Oo thanks! Will have to try Dani’s sometime. And I actually tried New Park Pizza before! It was good 👍🏻 Drove all the way out there just for a slice😅
Hi Andrew!! Thank you for including VI Pizza in your list! I have been going there since 1982. They have the best Sicilian slices! I live in Suffolk County now, but it is definitely worth the trip! I just found your channel and subscribed! Your the Best!
I stayed in flushing on vacation a couple yrs ago and lucia pizza was the best! Enjoyed flushing and the new world mall was awesome too also champion pizza was delicious
I LOVE VIPizza in Bayside, just a GREAT slice. And the Brooklyn slice, is one of the best Brooklyn style slices around. L&B is the best one, but VIPizza’s version is close.
There is another place in queens in Bayside and Flushing border. Forgot the name of it at Utopia I think it is in a corner spot is very good I love their pizza. The cheese was the best I had 3 slices
I love this video. Love your enthusiasm for pizza, as well as your knowledge of what makes a good pizza. I too love sweet sauce like your wife does, so definitely gonna hit Rosario’s in Astoria. I saw it on another list as well.
I agree with V I Pizza but their claim to fame are the square slices...Vaccaros on Little neck Parkway is excellent so is Gina pizza located at the big 6's on Queens Blvd
Amore, Lucia and Gaby’s pizza were spinoffs of the best pizzeria in New York in Flushing in the 50s 60s 70s and 80s called Gloria pizza. And you need to do your research a bit more if you think Astoria is the slums … it’s one of the most sought after neighborhoods in New York.
@@YangYummm VI is famous for their Sicilian brother not regular slice is average it actually was a couple of doors down in the 80's and they only sold pizza
I use to live in Kew Gardens. Dani's pizza is great but the service is horrible. When I first moved into Kew Gardens I went to Dani's and waited almost an hour. No slice of pizza is worth waiting an hour for. I never went back.
Your first two picks (Lucia and Amore) are first-rate NY pies. Your second two not are the top-5 of anything in Queens. Do more research first. However, good call with your last pick for Neapolitan-style pizza.
Nice haha, thanks man 🙌🏻 glad you liked some of them. And I agree with you. Like I say in all my pizza videos, it’s really all preference. You’re gna find a damn good slice almost anywhere you go in NY. I just visited some new spots recommended by you guys recently that were freakin 🔥🔥🔥.
What’s your favorite spot in Queens?

These are great choices. If you can sometime, I definitely recommend Louie's Pizza in Elmhurst Queens. It's the best in that area.

You’ve got to try Philomena’s in Sunnyside and Mano’s in Ridgewood
@@OllieRamone ahhh yes, Mano’s is legit. Never tried philomena’s. Will have to add that to the list, thanks!
@@YangYummm Please add Rosa's pizza in Ridgewood. They're known for their Sicilian and Grandma slices!
San Remo's Pizza in Ridgewood, NY. Part of Queens. That is good ny style pizza. Then there's Nick's Pizza in Forest Hills.
