Yes, his voice actually feels comfortable and nice it somehow gives me a weird sense of lazy humour and he really represents us that anything we try from the internet, it's gonna come out as trash and he also puts little effort to make the video even more entertaining
I’ve been watching mostly futurecanoe’s vids for the last week, and honestly? Feels like I’m watching a Netflix drama series with all this food character development
This channel is the only one food channel, which does not cause me to salivate profusely, but it is very comfortable to watch without eating. Thank you, future canoe
For some weird reasons this channel makes me wanna order food. I would order similar things cause A. It makes me appreciate my food more 💀 B. Its damn entertaining watching all of this from a chef perspective
If your oven pizzas have soggy crusts, just sprinkle some corn meal underneath them before baking. It lifts the dough a bit and facilitates convection.
Honestly so glad your break was short lived. I was sad to hear you say you were taking a break at the end of your last video (obviously respect you choice either way) but this is easily my favorite food channel on TH-cam, you're so real and honest and thats just so rare to see on food youtube anymore. thank you for doing what you do, canoe ❤
Wanted to say, your videos honestly warm my heart. As someone that grew up cooking with my mom and hearing stories about her restaurant days, your videos are comfort food for my feed. If you ever did need time, I'm more that certain we'd all still be here when you came back
This is the most suspenseful cooking show I have ever watched. I can never tell if the end result is going to be terrible or amazing, and what makes it even funnier is that there is never any in between results.
You have an awesome style for a cooking channel. You have a great personality and I get a lot of joy out of watching each episode you release. You have even inspired me to start cooking my own things from scratch again. Welcome back, I'm glad you are doing well! P.S. More struggle meals, lets see the best cheap eats.
this might be weird to say ahaha, but man, your videos bring me incredible amounts of joy and comfort (radioactive ingredients and all 😂) i was just binging some of your other videos, so i'm super excited to see a new one!
Bro i normally never really comment on videos, but fr im so happy i found your channel. Your videos has such a wholesome vibe to it. Hella funny too. The “mistakes” u make are imo what separates u from other cooking channels, and make you way more relatable. Keep going man👍🏽, defo my favorite channel atm💯 Love from Philippines🇵🇭
So nice seeing you almost reach 1 mil throughout this year. Hope you're doing well over there. You actually got me interested in cooking and I'm thankful for the techniques you've shown so far.
i really love your channel so much because its one of those channels that are very genuine unlike others on this platform. im really glad that i found your tiktok, and the longer videos here on youtube are equally as enjoyable!
After your 10,000 kcal boba video popped up on my feed 7 months ago, you're the only channel I've been watching consistently. Your videos are just relaxing, funny, diverse in content and relatable. I'm glad to hear you still enjoy making videos. Keep it up! 💕
not complaining if ur around for a lot longer, i love your content sm, you quickly turned into one of my comfort youtubers, your videos tickle my brain in just the right way
Only making us wait a week for you is too kind bro ;-;, if you ever take a break again take as long as you need your content hits crazy when I’m off the percs 💀
That last pan/ pizza you made looks legitimately amazing congrats man I just found your videos like 2 days ago and binged most of them it’s awesome to see how you make cooking fun and great to see you improve your skills.
After you said you weren't going to be uploading for a while, I was a bit sad but figured there was a good reason behind it. Seeing you post again so soon got me pretty excited so I'm glad to see you're back! I always look forward to your videos!
A shame your little break didn't pan (heh) out, but it was a pleasant surprise to see you upload so soon. As usual, visiting you locales for examples and then making it yourself is a great video idea and I'm glad you're continuuing the format. I never considered making a pizza in an actual normal pan before, do you think it'd be possible to make a good pizza in a pan on a stove without the oven?
I’m glad you didn’t take a long break. Since finding your channel, my love of cooking has been renewed. I started trying out more of Joshua W. recipes but I prefer following your videos of following other recipes. Great time!
One tip for homemade pizzas: start the cook with only the sauce on. That way you can cook the crust for however long you need before adding the rest of the toppings.
adding a little sugar (or honey) when you first activate your yeast will make it even more energetic. i love adding a tablespoon of honey. it helps with making a lighter pizza dough that will be perfect when cooked
The second pizza you made looks very similar to a pizza style that is popular in Turin called "pizza al padellino" which just means pan pizza. Suprized it didn't look radioactive, and it was unintentionally somewhat authentic.
Just chill and enjoy, if u need a break just take a weekend off. Ur videos are super awesome and reminds me of youtube of the old. Creative, weird and fun. We love u canoe
I love this dude but I can't lie I'm a little worried with how much he's revealing his location. Often saying this place is near his home, he goes to one of the shop's every Thursday, Brooklyn is too far away for him, etc. Idk maybe I'm just by paranoid because im used to seeing people getting stalkers, obsessed fans and the possibilitiy of getting doxxed over minimal revealed info. Idk I just feel like if you'd want to keep your identity hidden you wouldn't mention how frequently you visit a specific place yk?
I mean even if somebody figures out his street there’s like 1500 people per block in Manhattan. Not like he’s showing his face or revealing his name so I doubt he’s in any danger
...lol. Someone looking to off the comedic food TH-camr? Or is that just a gen y, "don't talk to me or look at me ppl scawe me" sentiment? The only way you're gonna find someone in NYC is to know what exact times they'll be somewhere. Also who gives a shit? A fan says "I love your channel"?
This video did two things for me. One, it made me realize I don’t hear people from NY talk about NY pizza anymore. It’s often from people outside the state. So it’s kinda cool hearin about nice spots to visit. And two, on that note, I haven’t gone out to eat pizza in ages. Imma use this vid as motivation lol
I absolutely love this format. Keep doing what you're doing. For your next food tour, maybe you could focus on shawarma or gyros. As for your parting words, do what you feel is right for you. Mental and physical health always trumps Content. I'm glad for the upcoming videos but make sure to take good care of yourself, even when you're eating radioactive meat.
Pizza has a long and fascinating history that dates back to ancient times. The origins of pizza can be traced back to the ancient Greeks who made a flatbread called plakous, which was topped with herbs, onions, and garlic. The ancient Romans also had a similar dish called focaccia, which was seasoned with various herbs and spices. However, the modern pizza as we know it today was born in Naples, Italy in the late 18th century. The pizza was originally a simple dish made with bread dough, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese. It was sold by street vendors and quickly became a popular food among the working-class people of Naples. In the late 19th century, Queen Margherita of Savoy visited Naples and was served a pizza that was topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil. The pizza was named after her and became known as the Margherita pizza. This pizza soon became a favorite among the people of Naples and eventually spread throughout Italy. Pizza made its way to the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when Italian immigrants brought their culinary traditions to America. The first pizzeria in the United States, Lombardi's, opened in New York City in 1905 and is still in operation today. Since then, pizza has become an iconic food in the United States and around the world. Today, there are countless variations of pizza, from classic Margherita to exotic toppings like pineapple and ham. Pizza has become a beloved comfort food and a symbol of Italian cuisine. In conclusion, the history of pizza is a testament to the power of food to unite people across cultures and time periods. From its humble origins in ancient Greece and Rome to its modern-day popularity around the globe, pizza continues to be a beloved and delicious food that brings people together. You're welcome!
To put a finer point on the popularity of pizza, here, in upstate NY, we have some Lebanese places, and some falafel places that decided to try their hand at a halal pizza. It's not as horrible as the local place (if you were here, you'd know exactly the place I'm talking about), but it's not as good as a good, ol' fashioned NY slice.
Soooo glad you're back!! I've been waiting for this for like a few days...haha!! By the way you're SUPER CLOSE to a MILLION subscribers. Very Exciting!!
For that langstrom pizza you should put it on the stove first, crisp the crust, then put it in the oven. You should also put some cheddar down in the pan first to give you a fresco crust. Actually put all the seasonings for the sauce on the pan too, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, red pepper. Makes a tasty bread stick style crust.
I don't even know why but watching this man cook gives me so much comfort and happiness!
ye same 😂
for me, I like his voice and how his cooking feels like me when I try to cook something
